Pleasant Experience In Khandoba Temple At Shirdi

Anonymous Devotee from Singapore says: Om Sai Ram. Blessed is the team, who is involved in development and design of this forum to share experience of Sai. I would like to share one of my recent experiences of Sai. Sai – please help me to always serve Sai devotees and all living beings. I want to remove my ignorance, maya and always look at You.

During the month of May 2012, I wanted to visit Shirdi. Sometimes whatever we plan, Sai has to call us. By blessings of Sai, I happen to visit Shirdi. I wanted to stay for 3-4 days in Shirdi. I took bus from Bangalore to Shirdi. I reached Shirdi around 10 am on Wednesday. I had booked for accommodation at Sai Niwas. At Sai Niwas, they let you provide accommodation from 11 AM. It is their check-in time. I had breakfast and took the accommodation. I had desire to have noon Aarti Darshan on the same day. But I kinda knew it was difficult. Anyways, I took bath and bought “guava” fruit since our Sai Baba likes it. This is what I learned from Sai Satcharitra.

I started proceeding towards Mandir for Darshan. On the way, it is Khandoba temple. It is more than 150 years old and there lot of references to it in Sai Satcharitra. I wanted to visit that temple as well. On the way, my fruit cover broke and all guava fell down on the street. I collected all of them and put that back in cover and don’t know what happened I went to Khandoba Temple. There were very little crowd and so I went inside to have Darshan. But they didn’t let me into sanctum because of Aarti time. But when I showed that I want to place guava fruits, lady allowed me inside sanctum and I place guava and did “pradashana,” and came back outside sanctum and was sitting there. I was enjoying the ambience and there was no body. I had Sai Satcharitra book in my hand and was trying to recollect pages in the book, where they referred about Khandoba temple.

Now it was Aarti time, and I was sitting outside the sanctum and suddenly priests called me. I went inside the sanctum. He gave me this huge dhoopam and tells me to stand and hold it. It was quite heavy and says me to do Aarti, once Aarti song is started. I was numb and didn’t know what is happening. Aarti song was being played, and I started showing dhoop at Khandoba temple in Shirdi and was doing Aarti to deity and Sai Baba. I was just numb and surprisingly I didn’t get any tears. I was just going through blank emotions and showing dhoop to deity and Sai Baba. Since it was heavy my concentration was to do it properly. Slowly I see devotees stream outside the sanctum. It was around 10-15 minutes of dhoop. There was another devotee in sanctum and he showed dhoop for some time. We both alternated during Aarti.

I came out of temple and thanks Sai Baba for this opportunity. I took some pictures outside Khandoba temple and went happily for Samadhi Mandir. It was His blessings only that I was instrument on that day for Aarti. Om Sai Ram. Om Sai Nathaya Namaha.

 

Baba Fulfilled My Wish

Anonymous Devotee from India says: Om Sai Ram to all the devotees. This is my fifth experience being published in this blog. Baba is so kind. He showers His mercy on His devotees at every step of life. I live at a small place, where there was no Sai temple. After I started believing in Baba, I used to miss Sai temple. Always I used to pray that there should be a Sai temple at my place also. And Baba please it must be near my house, so that I can visit it easily. After one year Baba showed His grace. On one Wednesday, I went to one of my friend. While talking to her, she told me that a small Baba idol is there in the Ram Mandir. I can’t express my feelings. How happy and surprised I was? I was in a great astonishment. My Deva has fulfilled my biggest desire, which I had never hoped, will be fulfilled, as there are a very few believers of Baba and another big thing that the Ram Mandir is near to my house. This proves how Baba cares for each and every wish of His children. Baba, bless all Your child. Om Sai Ram.

Sai Kripa

Sai Sister Abha Ji from India says: I am Abha aged 38. I live in Bhubaneswar with my in-laws, husband and my daughter. Due to some unavoidable circumstances, my husband’s business stopped and I was running a ladies hostel that was also closed down. We were depended on our savings. Only daughter is in 9th and now her expenditure was given by my mother for which I will be always grateful. We did so many pujas, anusthan, vrat, stone wearing, but all ended in only more expenditure. Then my priest told me to do Sai Vrat.

We were devotee of Sai Baba and used to go to temple also. But we were not aware about Vrat. I found that Vrat very is simple with no hard core rules. So I decided that there is no harm in trying. Even today I could not believe that the very next day of Vrat only, a call from the project office of my husband came and they requested him to take the charge of their new project. That was an unbelievable moment for us as they were not in the scene at all. It was totally unexpected. Now he is having 2 project in his hand. Another unbelievable happened to me that I got the job for which even I was not sure. This time, change in our life has come because of Sai Baba. I never prayed or begged for money. I only begged for work (Karmathta ka vardan), money itself will come with prestige (Maan and Sammaan) in society. I want to pray Sai Baba to His hand on my family like this forever. Om Sai Ram.

  6. Can any Sai devotee clear my doubt? Why our BABA doesn't give HIS darshan to all his devotees. Why only to few? I have put chit asking HIM if I will have his darshan last week. I got the answer yes. But I didn't had HIS darshan. Why did Baba do this to me? Please Baba answer me. I'm feeling very low because this. Please give your darshan Baba.

    • When the time comes he will give you darshan. It may happen today or after 1 month, just forget about darshan and pray from bottom of your heart and when we really need him he will definetely come to us. om sai ram.

    • Darshan need not be explicit. Even imagine Sai in your mind and sing sai bhajan or sai name. That itself will give lot of peace to mind.
      May be SAI might have given darshan in the form of a stranger who helped you when you are in need or as an animal (as said in SAI Saccharitra that he came as dog to eat prasad, but devotee beat the dog. Then sai said to that devotee "why did you beat me when I came to eat prasad"
      If one devotee gets SAI in dream doesn't mean even every body should get.
      It all depends on how contented we are. Myself I am happy remembering SAI and singing his bhajan's in my mind. Hope that helps. And may SIA bless you happiness in Life and strength to face the world.

Hetal ji, Liked the new format, but the emotions doesn't seems to be fit in religious posts. Just small opinion, no need to remove it though.

  18. very nice experiences. Blessed to read sai leelas everyday and everywhere. Jai sairam.. even I experienced having Saibaba Temple near home. I always go to little far for baba temple which used to take me 2 hrs to and fro.. then I always used to have baba temple near my home so that I can go and attend aarti and love singing sai bhajans.. talking to baba.. I also got a dream that saibaba temple construction going on near my home I was overwhelmed.. exactly after a year they kepy baba idol in 2 temples near my home.. by hearing i felt very happy.. in one of the temples, there place where there are "Nava graha" trees where I used to worship all those trees everyday for many days for my my marriage. one day happen to see broken baba idol in tulsi tree. I used to worship that.. now got married and came to different country and heard from my mom that in the same place baba temple construction is going. I felt so happy that how bless I was. where I was worshipping all the trees by singing sai song and doing the pooja whole heatedly now in the same place temple construction is going.. thanks baba .. thanks a lot..

  24. By reading all the above comments i feel that everybody has problem in life , but ever heared of any peson who has problem as life . thats me only. Right from the day i started devoting myself to him , within two months he gave me suprise "I lost my job".Right from that till now i dint get a proper job. Simply jobless for almost 2 years being elder son. Even in that situation not only me, my whole family prayed with full faith and patience to him.sai charithra prayan, vrat almost continuously till now Result he again gave suprise" my brother lost his job". even after all this we dint stop our prayers or ourpayan or vrat.

    But after all this sai has gave a double damaka suprise "my dad lost his job". this is where, particularly i got fed up with him. he fooled not only me but my whole family by downplaying in everyone's career and personal life.At the time of losing my job , my parents were looking for bride. As everybody knows what people speaks, in our locality if someone is stopping such activities in between(bride hunting). Being an well known couples for kind hearted and dignity , they lost everything slowly.
    Now the height of height is Baba is calling to shirdi. After all the pain and suffering that we had gone through ,particularly myself never felt (happy or sad) about this baba's call. what ever we have earned (respect, dignity, good name etc) is totally vanished. nothing is left now in our life, except loneliness and frustration. but my parents feel that he has called to end the suffering and to give a wonderful life.
    Now they have booked ticket for both myself and my bro just one month before.But whole heartily i would say that am not convinced with that. whenever i think of him, i feel frustrated,betrayed.Even i feel that he is the only main reason for the downfall of my family.I will never ever forget this phase (Sai's phase) of my life till my death.when ever i think of it, my tears rolls down my eyes.
    Latest news is that i have decided to cancel this shirdi trip. Will try to accept this phse of life and move on.
    For every pian there is a gain. Due to family circumstance i had to join my pervious company where i had been kicked out 2 years back. Its a really a great feeling that Sai has left from from where i had took him. As every body say Life is a circle, mine a best example.

    One more ritual things is left now , The Shirdi Trip. For the sake of my parents i had to go there on coming friday(27-09-13) and put an end to Sai Chapter in my life. I really really need to start a new life right from scratch, Where there will be no prayers, no prayan, no vrat., nothing.

    • Om Sai Ram ..Baba pls bless this devotee of yours he is in trouble and seems to lose his faith on you.You are calling him to shirdi then pls bless him with all the happiness of life.If after calling to shirdi you left him unattended and return him empty handed he will lose hos faith on you forever.Pls forgive his bad karma and bless his family,They all seem to have lost their job which is the most painful thing on earth.I have visited your place shirdi three times but still havent received anything from you.I am 35 plus and also jobless since 9 years now.You very well understand my pain but never given me a single happiness.I gave up of getting married now because for a girl 35 plus is almost old enough to get married and i will not even get a good allaince.I even stopped begging you for anything ..i just do nav vrat ,sai satcharita reading,moolo beej mantra chanting,108 names of yours,reading sthavan manjiri evryday.i do all these things without fail everyday and will keep on doing.But will never ask anythinf from you.I lsot everything in life Baba,SO its the only request pls atleast bless other devotees who is coming to you to visit at shirdi.Everday he is poating the same comments and it pains to see your devotees in trouble.Pls bless him soon and give him wonderful darshan.Dont return him empty handed as you have returned me.Pls Baba

      Dont worry baba has to do nothing with your life..it is god who has decided our fate according to karma.. [-( think that baba was with you in your difficult phase of life..dont loose faith dear baba will definitely show good ways only..even if you start disliking baba baba will ever see you as his own child..will a mother ever kick out her own children just because the child scolded her???Dont worry soon you will realize baba's goodness and miracles…om sai raam

    • yeah, thts g8 dear anonymous devotee. Everybody will face the pblms, only strong persons can bear them. After reading all this, I can say only one thing to you, Baba really testing ur patience. thts it. He won't leave his devotees hand. I had gone through a bad phase, 10years. Even I scolded him, so many times. But I didn't left him. See, he is the only one who will tc of each and every step of our life. He won't do what we like, he will do only wt is best to us.

      Don't loose the patience. Please have shradda and saburi. Definitely, you will get a good job. Please wait. Baba will bless your family definitely and very soon.

  32. Very nice experiences! Abha Ji, your experience shows the amazing power of Sai Vrat when performed with faith incredible miracles can happen and Baba shows us how He loves us so much. Devotee from Singapore, Baba gave you the opportunity to have a wonderful pooja in the Khandoba temple and it is something I am sure you will never forget. 2nd devotee, when we call out for Baba, He is always with us and Baba showed you that He is there with you even though there is no Baba temple, Baba showed you He is there with you even in the small town. No matter where we go (even if in the future we travel to other planets or stars), Baba is there and will always be with us. Om Sai Ram!
