Shibpur Experience – Anonymous Devotee

On the beginning of New Year, on behalf of our Sai Family, I wish you all a blissful, spiritual, and extremely happy New Year. May Sai give you all happiness and His blessing forever. Try to Make resolution of this New Year to practice more and more on Our Sai’s two coins: Shraddha (faith) and Saburi (patience) and I believe you will be more closer to Sai by doing this practice. Pray to Sai: We are Your children. It’s my duty to perform Your order. Baba, we don’t need anything. Please give me enough blessing, so that we can perform our duties and follow Your spiritual way. Keep going on with your work. You are a beautiful soul. Sai Baba is everything for me. He is my best friend. I trust on Him more than myself. Love Him, fight with Him, many times just stare on Him, and argue with Him and most importantly He is 24*7 on my mind. Sometimes I have no words to explain my situations to Him. But I am sure He understands. He is my Sai Baba.

I wanted to go Shibpur in June 2013. I wanted to marry to my boyfriend, but I got engaged to someone else. The day, when the boy’s parent came to my home, they gave me 500 rs as shagun and at the same time I just put them in Sai Satcharitra book and had a random thought in my mind that I will deposited the same to Shibpur Mandir trust.



After one day I deposited that in Mandir trust. Within one hour, my friend called me that will you join me for Shirdi or Vaishno Devi? I said we will go to Shibpur this time and she said ok. Then I have to take permission for going to Shibpur and I just said to Sai that my parents should not deny my request to go there. And the same happened. Our ticket got booked for 25 June from New Delhi station at 8:00 pm. I read on the website of Shibpur Mandir that Baba only called His true devotees to Shibpur. No one can go there without His permission. So I had a wish in my mind that “Sai, You have to be with me in this entire journey”. On 25th in the evening I started my journey. I was late. I took a shared auto to reach metro station MGF, Gurgaon. And after a while I noticed the song of our Sai Baba that was played by the auto driver in his auto. I felt happy and said a lot of thanks to my Sai to be with me in the start of my visit to Shibpur. It’s like He Himself came to take me to His shelter in Shibpur.

I met my friend on metro station and we boarded on metro for New Delhi railway station. It was looking impossible to catch the train. I prayed to Baba and also said to Him if You are calling me, then certainly we will board the train otherwise not. As soon as we stepped out from metro, we ran towards station. We even don’t know that on which platform number our train will come. And it’s like Sai is pushing us towards the train and we were on the train within 5 minutes after we stepped out from metro. We arranged our luggage on our births and slept well in night.

Now the turn of my second wish fulfillment, I had another wish somewhere in my heart after reading an experience of a devotee, who met a Sai devotee in his train compartment, when she was travelling to Shirdi. We got up in the morning, had our breakfast. Nearly 17 hours passed and my wish was not fulfilled. Our train reached to its destination and we all were packing our bags to get out of the train in the next 5 minutes. The person, who was beneath my birth, suddenly took out his important document file and the first thing which he took out from that folder was a big A4 size photo of Sai Baba. “Oh Baba, You are there with me in the whole journey of train”. This was the first thought in my mind, when I saw the picture of Baba.

We stayed at Bhethuadhari 15 kms away from Shibpur in the night. One thing here I want to mention that two girls age of 25 did not get any trouble of any kind in the whole journey to the far unknown place. It was my third wish that we should not get any kind of trouble. And the same happened. Now in the next morning we checked out from hotel at 4:00 am. We hired a taxi and reached to Shibpur Mandir within an hour. On the way, we picked up some wild flowers for Baba as we had nothing with us to offer to Baba.

In the temple all were very humble people. Some of them are the villagers and others were Pujari and the persons, who looked after the Mandir trust. No one knows Hindi there except Amit Biswas Ji. We attended the Aarti going on in the temple and felt very happy. A woman in the end of Aarti put some UDI on our foreheads. After that we saw the all rooms in Mandir and waited for Amit Ji to get up as he was sleeping. Then we sat under Neem tree in front of Bade Baba Mandir. A crow was making such a different noise. I had never heard that kind of voice.

Suddenly one nimboli, the fruit of neem tree, fell on my lap and I ate it. It’s like Baba offered it to me. We ate prasad. Then Amit Biswas Ji came out and started conversing with us. I was not satisfied till that time. But when Amit Ji talked, I felt satisfied and happy. It’s like Baba was chatting with us. In last I got tears in my eyes. This was another wish that I want to cry from heart in Baba’s mandir as I haven’t got tears in my eyes since March. I want to cry my heart out from a long time, but it did not happened form a long time. But in Shibpur Mandir, it happened. I was happy.

Amit Ji gave us many packets of UDI and lots of prasad and photo of Shibpur Baba also. I prayed to Baba to fulfill my wish. I want to come to Your Mandir again. We left the Mandir and travelled towards Howrah station to catch our train. On the taxi stand in front of station , when we came out from our taxi, I looked back and look our Sai was there in form of a photo on the front inside portion of a taxi. He was there to say me good bye. He makes my visit amazing. I am just waiting for His grace. I know He will fulfill my wish.As He said in dreams to Amit Biswas Ji that “No one comes empty handed from Shibpur. Whoever on His call, come to Shibpur, his all wishes will be fulfilled by Sai”.

  29. Nice experience, I too have visited Shibpur mandir and what a darshan it was, too beautiful to express in words. Shibpur baba has fulfilled all my wishes. I am going to get married on february 8t , 2014 and my marriage has been possible only by baba's grace….Om Sai Ram

I'm also much worrying baba, i'm praying daily & doing poojas & going to different temples as per Astrology says. If have done any mistakes knowingly & unknowingly pls forgive me baba. Reduce my past karma & bless me ma…Pls help me baba as know my age is gets increasing…Parents also don't know why its getting delay. I know baba shardha & saburi is important, i'm obeying & following. Eventhough my heart felt sad day by day. Within 4 to 5 months i must get married. Pls help me ma….
