Sai Baba’s Grace – A Rebirth

Anonymous Shirdi Sai Devotee from India says: It was the first week of December 2019 and I was waiting for the result of my biopsy of the lining of my uterus. The biopsy took place on December 3rd. On December 6th, my gynaecologist left messages on my cell-phone and work phone. I knew this was something serious since the doctor was trying to get hold of me. I reached out to the gynaecologist. It was news that nobody would like to hear. He said that I had mild, early, probable cancer, based on my biopsy report.

The condition was Endometrial hyperplasia. It is a condition in which the endometrium (lining of the uterus) becomes abnormally thick. He said I would need surgery for the removal of the uterus, however no chemotherapy would be needed. I was immediately referred to a cancer specialist at a Women’s Cancer Center.

My appointment was scheduled the following Monday, December 9th . I shared the shocking news of my illness with my college friends. Few of my friends were ardent devotees of Sai Baba. My friends assured me that “Baba Is With Me.”

Several amazing things happened thereafter in my life. When I met the cancer specialist on Monday, I was amazed because he looked like Sai Baba. He reviewed the biopsy results and said that I was in a pre-cancer stage and he recommended surgery via Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Hysterectomy. The surgery would involve the removal of the uterus, fallopian tubes, uterus cervix. If during surgery, they found cancer, then the ovaries would also be removed. They were to check the lymph nodes and if the cancer had spread to other parts of the body.

I was relieved to hear that I was at a pre-cancer stage and the surgery would be done as a precautionary measure. The doctor’s office gave me three dates, Jan 2nd, 9th and 16th to pick for my surgery. All the dates were on Thursdays which is considered as Baba’s day. I picked January 9th, Thursday for my surgery.

The surgery took place on January 9th, Thursday as scheduled by the same surgeon who looked like Sai Baba. It was a 2 hour long surgery. During surgery to the utmost surprise of my surgeon he found a tumour on one of my ovaries which had never appeared in the ultrasound images done just over a month ago. As a result, both my ovaries had to be removed along with the uterus, fallopian tubes and uterus cervix. Surgery was successful.

However, my surgeon was shocked at the turn of events going from a pre-cancer stage to a stage 3 because the endometrial cancer had spread to the ovaries. However, the good news was that there were no tumors on lymph nodes and cancer had not spread to other parts of the body. I was saved at the nick of time. It was Baba’s Grace!

Since the cancer had spread to my ovaries and they found microscopic cancer cells, my surgeon who was also an oncologist prescribed chemotherapy every week for three consecutive weeks each month for the next 4-6 months. The surgeon asked me if I could work from home for the next 6 months.

The job that I am in had no provision of work from home. 6 months seemed a very long time and I wasn’t sure how chemotherapy would affect my body. My concern was that I would run out of leave since six months is a pretty long phase to go through chemotherapy.

I am always afraid of needles. I was scared that chemo would be administered intravenously. Before I left for my appointment to discuss chemotherapy, I prayed to Sai Baba and told Him, “Please make this a miracle chemo.” During my appointment, I found out that a mediport, an implanted port would be placed in the upper chest area and chemotherapy would be administered through the mediport which is way less painful than doing it via a vein in my arm.

I was told I could have several side effects from my chemotherapy like low blood counts, hair loss, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, mouth sores, numbness and tingling of the hands and feet, shortness of breath, pain in the joints and muscles, fatigue, weakness, taste changes.

My first chemotherapy was on a Friday, February 21st. I took the following Monday off and went to work on Tuesday. For the next three weeks, I took Mondays off and went to work the following Tuesday. By then I had taken three chemo treatments in the first month and I still had five more months to go. Around that time the concern for COVID 19 was widespread and people like me were at a high risk to be contracted with the disease.

On March 16th, the State announced a lock down and that all Government offices were under lock down and employees were supposed to work from home during this pandemic. As chemo was building up in my body, I was experiencing side effects like nausea, nose bleeding, stomach cramps. It would have been extremely difficult for me to go through chemotherapy and commute to work. Working from home gave me the flexibility to take it easy during my chemotherapy and I was able to cater to my health while working from home and simultaneously was saving on my leave.

Sai Baba made it possible for me to stay at home during my chemotherapy. This was the grace of Baba because I could have never made it going to work and getting chemotherapy three times a month.

I remembered my doctor’s words when he had asked me if I could work from home for the next 6 months during chemotherapy. And truly indeed I was working from home during my chemo treatments. Isn’t that a miracle? My chemotherapy was every Friday for three consecutive weeks in a month. I had a total of 18 treatments and by the grace of Baba, I did not vomit or get an infection or be utterly tired even once during this entire period of chemo treatment for 6 months. My doctor said that I had tolerated the treatment pretty well.

Sai Baba pulled me out of the jaws of death. If I am alive today, it is due to Baba’s grace!

Miraculous Sai Baba

Anonymous Shirdi Sai Devotee from the Netherlands says: Om Sairam to all the devotees of Baba. I am residing in Europe. I feel blessed that Baba has accepted me under His lotus feet.

My parents are staying in India and my mother is not keeping well. I could not visit them due to the pandemic and a new born baby. I prayed to Baba to take care of my mom and my merciful Baba blessed her with good health.

I constantly keep in touch with them through messages or calls. Because of the time difference, I also get up at night when it’s day time in India to check on them. One day I messaged them on whatsapp and wasn’t getting any reply. I was worried and prayed to Baba that if I get a reply back within the next two minutes, then I would post the experience here the same day.

After praying, the very next minute I got a reply from my mom assuring me of her well being. That’s our Baba! He always assures us that He is listening to us. Sorry Baba for delaying it to post by one day. Please forgive me and heartfelt thanks for reminding me to post today. Without You I am nothing Baba. Sai Baba – The Saviour

I am very grateful that Baba blessed me with a baby boy on Rama Navami after a 3 year old daughter. Even she is His blessing.

Coming to my experiences:
1. After the discharge from hospital my husband developed fever, diarrhoea and body pains. So my family felt that it could be a symptom of Covid. But we knew that it was the side effect of lack of sleep during the hospital stay. I prayed to Baba to make him healthy soon and within 2 days he was back to normal. Thank You Baba.

2. My 4 days old baby developed jaundice. Though it’s common nowadays, as a mother I was worried and prayed to Baba to cure him sooner. By the second day he got cured. Thank You Lord.

Please make my son get sufficient milk. He must feed well. It’s my wish. Grant it Lord. Make my daughter develop interest in studies. Due to Covid could not send her to school. She must develop good habits and eat well. Our main problem is her eating habits. She is not at all interested in eating food. Please grant this wish to the Lord.

Prayers To Sai Are Never Futile

Thanks to Sai for showing us the right path in this world. He hears our smallest prayer and grants it, so that our life becomes easier.

Coming to my experience, Baba helped us by transferring the apartment maintenance job to another neighbour instead of us handling it. This will save us from insults and discomfort. Thank You Sai for making the neighbour take this responsibility.

I am sharing the experience here as promised. This leela of Sai has helped us resolve the water issues as well.

Sai Baba Cured A Family From Covid

Coming to my experience, for the last two weeks my family had a bad experience of Covid, but with Baba’s blessings everything became alright. First my wife and son got Covid symptoms, for which we started treatment and isolation. After four days my daughter and later me started having Covid symptoms. I sincerely prayed to Sai Baba, to take care of all of us and vowed that I will write on this blog once everybody becomes alright.

With Baba’s blessings all became alright after one week. You know the situation in Bangalore, which is very bad. But when Sai’s blessings are there with us, nothing will happen. Thank You very much Sai, as promised I am writing for this blog. Please shower Your blessings on my family always and be with us during this pandemic. Sai Is Everywhere

Coming to my experience: As we all know that we are facing a pandemic. Everyone of us get panicked if we get a cough/cold. One midnight my father caught a continuous cough for 2-3 minutes. I got up with a heavy heart and prayed Baba that it should not happen again. You believe or not, my father is doing great. Sai Baba listens to everyone and every time.

My second experience is : Common problem every girl faces is irregular menstrual cycles. In general it won’t happen to me. But last month I didn’t get my periods but had a bad stomach ache. Last night I prayed to Baba that if I get my periods by morning then I would share my experience here. I was immensely surprised because I got my periods by morning. I have no words to describe grace and don’t know how to thank Baba. Om Sri Sairam.
