My Sai’s UDI Reaches Me – Sai Devotee Sanjukta

Sai Sister Sanjukta Ji from India says: Thank you Sai for being with me and helping me draft this. Thank you dear Hetal Ji, for being a Sai part of everybody and allowing Sai devotees to express. My previously shared experiences are here:

I am sharing one of my very recent experience to display HIS wonder and presence in HIS devotees lives. Not to forget the way HE communicates.


It has been HIS blessings always that I have been visiting
Shirdi every New Years or at best close to the end of year or beginning of year. However this year, being new to my job, I could not make it to Shirdi close to New Years. I therefore ordered Sai diaries online, as has been the practice of myself and my husband to use only Sai diaries. When the diaries failed to reach me by end of Jan, I called up a number at Shirdi Sansthan and placed my request of diaries over phone giving the person answering the call my order numbers. The call was like any simple call – placing the order and the person on the other end, cross checking his records and confirming the destination of the diaries.

The diaries did reach me – yes on a chosen Thursday! HIS DAY! And along with that the persons phone call, who had taken my order. He had somehow saved my number and had called on the very day, to confirm over the delivery. I was excited on receiving it in a Thursday and even excited somehow to receive the call as I considered it a real blessing to receive a call from Shirdi as well the diaries. I thanked him for the call and mentioned thereafter I shall always call him ‘Sai Brother’. Strangely, Sai Brother calls me almost once a month or sometimes twice inquiring over me and my family’s well being and he seems to be coincidentally calling only on important dates – say on Thursday’s , my husband’s birthday, daughter’s birthday, my birthday or days, when going gets tough for me. All he calls and says is Be Happy, and Baba’s blessings for you.

He called this Monday to say Come to Shirdi and I have lots of UDI for you! To those, who wouldn’t know what UDI is, UDI is the sacred ash that has been continuously accumulating right from Baba’s presence till date out of the sacred fire that Baba had lit and which still continues to burn. Even during HIS lifetime, Baba used to give handful of UDI to HIS devotees. Application of UDI immediately wards off danger, afflictions, physical and personal problems from one’s life. Sai devotees consider the application of UDI very important as this is a part of Baba and gives immense relief. It is a miracle on its own and shows Baba’s presence.

Well, coming back to my narration. I was happy over the call and told my husband, “You know Baba would give us UDI”. Not sure, but I feel the day Sai brother called, (i.e. Monday) must have been an important day at Shirdi as I found the idol at Shirdi decorated with flowers. It’s usually so on special days. Any which ways, the miracle happens here: My husband called me today afternoon (Thu, 6th Jun 2013) while I was at work and told me “We have received 27 packets of UDI!” I was shocked to the core as only Sai devotees would know how difficult it is to receive even 1 packet of UDI. And here we land with 27. Note also 2+7 is 9 . 9 is Baba’s number as is depicted in the holy book of Baba- Shri Sai Satcharitra. And with this I have yet one more thing confirmed. For me, the Sai Brother, who has been calling me, is none other than Sai Baba!

  5. om sai ram…you are one of those blessed one…I got a small white statue of baba recently when were in India which was with my neighbour for almost a year she got the statue when she went to shirdi and she gave it to me on thursday!!!Though I have not been to shirdi baba may call my family too…but I am very happy I have baba's statue directly from shirdi..om sai ram..thank you baba bless us..

  15. By reading all the above comments i feel that everybody has problem in life , but ever heared of any peson who has problem as life . thats me only. Right from the day i started devoting myself to him , within two months he gave me suprise "I lost my job".Right from that till now i dint get a proper job. Simply jobless for almost 2 years being elder son. Even in that situation not only me, my whole family prayed with full faith and patience to him.sai charithra prayan, vrat almost continuously till now Result he again gave suprise" my brother lost his job". even after all this we dint stop our prayers or ourpayan or vrat.

    But after all this sai has gave a double damaka suprise "my dad lost his job". this is where, particularly i got fed up with him. he fooled not only me but my whole family by downplaying in everyone's career and personal life.At the time of losing my job , my parents were looking for bride. As everybody knows what people speaks, in our locality if someone is stopping such activities in between(bride hunting). Being an well known couples for kind hearted and dignity , they lost everything slowly.
    Now the height of height is Baba is calling to shirdi. After all the pain and suffering that we had gone through ,particularly myself never felt (happy or sad) about this baba's call. what ever we have earned (respect, dignity, good name etc) is totally vanished. nothing is left now in our life, except loneliness and frustration. but my parents feel that he has called to end the suffering and to give a wonderful life.
    Now they have booked ticket for both myself and my bro just one month before.But whole heartily i would say that am not convinced with that. whenever i think of him, i feel frustrated,betrayed.Even i feel that he is the only main reason for the downfall of my family.I will never ever forget this phase (Sai's phase) of my life till my death.when ever i think of it, my tears rolls down my eyes.
    Latest news is that i have decided to cancel this shirdi trip. Will try to acceopt this phse of life and move on.

      Dear Sai Devotee, please do not be angry with BABA. He loves us all and we are his beloved children. BABA also cries when we cry and he suffers the most of our pain. We cannot see it, but in difficult times BABA carries us in his arms so that we face only very less of the pain and he takes the most of it. He reduces the impact of our past bad karma and makes the suffering less, like reducing a big stone sized punishment to a small mustard size punishment. SO please have FAITH and PATIENCE and LOVE BABA. He will surely end all teh sufferings soon. Please try to do some food donation to poor people, old people, kids , animals. Try to do it everyday , you can donate anything like biscuits, fruits, cooked food etc and try to do as many good deeds as possible. That will quickly remove all bad past deeds and bring joy and success in our lives.

      MAY BABA BLESS US ALL ALWAYS and keep his boon bestowing hand son our heads always. LOVE YOU DEVA and many many THANKS to you for everything.

      Please do not cancel the shirdi trip. Normally i do not reply to any comment but today after reading your comment i felt like telling you this. Just for once give him a chance. I am trying hard to go to shirdi but i cant and you had this opportunity. no harm in going, anyhow you have lost everything as you said. so just to to shirdi and see BABA, may be you will have an answer there for your suffering.

      I had once shared my life with my frends here that would bring faith in sai baba.we all have problems,iam responding to ur comment for one reason that the same thing happened with me but in more serious and severe way that if i start telling here iam sure you will forget yours.
      But u know hw i took it.that from the time i started worshipping sai ma my life got ruined,it was like seeing hell on earth but not once i let my faith shiver.NOT ONCE.trust me keep my words for liftime he just came to ur life to end up ur sorrows, once and for all.
      He came to make u happy.he came to be there with u in ur suffering because maybe that was the time u wer entering into the bad phase of ur life.
      But u failed to see that he was there with u all the time.u remembered him thru out.
      Why do u give up hope nw.

      Trust my words iam a child of sai who has seen him,felt him,played,cried and laughed with him.
      So i just know that all he wants is to love him in no matter what condition u r.that is the phase where he tests his most lovable child.
      Prove it to him that u vl accept whatever he gives u because ultimatley what he will give will be beyond all ur expectations.

      Dear friend and dear all life is to cherrish,a moment without love and faith will be a MOMENT LOST.

    • dear sai devotee everybody has problems in life nothing big and small remember we have to bear this pain which happens because of our past karmas but being sai's children we a re lucky as he is watching over us and protecting from any worst situations.. as you say you are going through such bad phase of life you never know how baba saved you from deep pains that might have occured without his blessings on you.. he is still watching over you and definitely testing your patience.. as you say you read sai satcharitra it is very clearly said in it by saima as how he has to bear his devotees's pain.. you and sai are not different people as sai says think and vanish the wall between you and saima then you can see him inside you and you will understand how deeply he suffers for your pain.. he is our mother and a mother's love and care is beyond what one can imagine.. have faith and i am sure all the sai devotees will pray for you.. sai will surely take you out from such situations and will bless you with a happy life.. om sai ram..

I was speechless yesterday, the first two posts and the anonymous devotees anger depicts me in some ways.I have prayed and have fought a lot with my baba.I dont know what happened to me recently im not speaking with baba.Think for past 20 days im not speaking with him and even he is not bothered to speak with me.I dont know what this silence means?
    And now im in confusion regarding my marriage proposal.Im 32 years old, have not got a guy still.I have been praying and my mother as well but nothing fruitful happened and my expectations on my future man was different and baba knows that.But 4 days back a family came and saw me in temple, that guy didnt have the thing which i wanted but still i like him its a surprise to me i dont know how i liked him, im not sure whether he will suit me and whether he also likes me.I dont know whether i should ask baba to bring that person as my life partner or wait for the one whom baba chooses for me.If its someone else whom sai sends for me, i should like him.So dear brothers and sisters please give me your suggestions and pray that my marriage should happen soon and i/he(whoever it is) should like each other and live a beautiful life.It should be a life long relationship.Please bless me and pray for me my dear friends.

Receiving 27 pkt of sacred Udi of Baba is not that much easy by standing in the Q at shridi we are not able to get more than 2 pkt of udi. Hey Baba….I have completed Navguruvara brat today…but still Im jobless…getting frustrated day by day…even I cant go home without having a job…Many times U just came in my dream as a picture…but no assurances…Baba I m just loosing my confidence bcoz after trying so much I have not got a call from any ood company..thats why I have gone for Navguruvara brat…but stilll

  38. hai every body, i am new to this site.i am unable to control tears from my eyes while reading all the comments here. Baba is testing my patience, from my childhood i used to struggle for everithing, for getting a seat in a college of my wish,and for pass marks in exam, and for getting a job.. i got job in a small company and then through a consultancy i shifted to another company, i have payed some money to consultancy. i felt very happy for my job and i want to say thanks to baba directly so i have gone to shiridi and i stayed 3 days in shiridi. can any body guess what happend after that my company has been closed .i lost my job, money,time. and i still struggling to get a job. i hav attended in my state no result and shifted to another state and no result… why baba is doing like this for me. why he is not listening my prayers. but when i asked him a question(through a book of solutions for baba devoties), he is saying that i am with u and we have bond from multiple births, then why he is doing this for me. my day starts with the chanting of sai ram…. sai natha….i used to tell him each and everything and used to talk with him but he is not responding to my words… and i am living with a hope that one day he will listen me.
    plz frns ask him to bless me, since i lost my job my parents are not talking with me properly . my frns left me because i am in problems. i am a problamatic gal in the world.

    • I am attending 4 or 5 interviews a week… my profile got shortlisted in two companies i got a call to attend interview on this friday i.e on tommorow. unfortunately i put my leg upon a broken glass. my thenar got wounds. how can i go to the exam ? baba… plz stop testing me like this i can't bare this much..

I still remember your experience about that 10 Rs…it is always a great feeling to hear about how Baba blessed you and your family.   49. Very nice experiences! Baba always has His own reasons for having things happen at the selected times and Baba made sure you received the sacred books on a special day and also it was a wonderful miracle from Baba that you received so many packets of Udi. Om Sai Ram!
