Thursday Fasting Book
Sai Sister Anita Ji from India says: I am Anita. I am a devotee of Sai since few years. Gradually my devotion is increasing day by day. Now I have stopped worrying about any day to day problems, which I used to face and instead talk to My God My Sai and He solves them and shows me the right path each and every moment, everyday.
I used to keep fasts every Thursday as a mark of my devotion to My Sainath earlier. But I was unaware of proper rituals, which should be followed while fasting on Thursdays like Nine Thursday fasting and ending the fast with bhog, etc. I was just keeping fasts every Thursday and prayed to Sai with folded hands. One fine day, I thought that there must be proper way to follow Thursday fasting, there must be some rules, which should be followed, which I might be missing. I didn’t want to go wrong with any of the rituals.
Although my love and devotion for Saibaba was, is and always will be true and complete. One day I thought to gather some knowledge about Thursday fasting on the Internet. I came through a site which mentioned about Nine Thursday fasting, and distribution of Sai Vrat Katha book after completion of nine Thursday fasting. I wanted that book desperately. With tears in my eyes I prayed to Sai and told to give me this book somehow from somewhere. I wanted to know from where I will get this book. I cried a lot, it was on Wednesday.
Next day was my Thursday fast as usual. I came to my office, was attending my work. One of my senior colleagues called me to his place for a minute. I was a little upset due yesterday’s crying and was having little headache. I didn’t want to go to him, but had to obey him. He asked me to sit, and all of a sudden He took out one book from his bag, and here I witnessed this Miracle of My Sai. It was Sai vrat katha book (Picture attached). I was so happy at that moment that words fail to describe those feelings. I had tears in my eyes once again, that day I realized that my Saibaba loves me a lot. I surrendered my life to Him from that day. My Sir is a devotee of Lord Dattatreya and was giving Sai Vrat Katha book after doing prayers after nine Thursdays. Anonymous Devotee from India says: SAI RAM, I have been reading this site from past 1 year. I have already posted my experience before. Here is the 1st experience is written by me.
I am so happy to share my experience. What to tell about Him? MY GURU, He is amazing. Love You Baba. I don’t know, without him in my life, how would I live? I am a 2013 b-tech passed out from reputed college. As I have told in the previous experience, I have joined a course related to software, to which I need to qualify an exam to get entry into the course. By Baba’s grace I have successfully qualified the exam and joined the course.
I am attending the course every day. I have gained knowledge related to software. After the end of course, we will have placements, but I am so much worried about my placements, because I am not good at aptitude. So I need to practice well. I used to go to Lalitha Devi temple, which is very near to the course I am studying. But I have never noticed that there is a small Baba idol in the temple. One day I suddenly saw Baba idol in the temple, I felt so happy. I have not been showing that much interest in visiting temple normally, but when I saw Baba Idol, I started going to temple every day.
I used to talk to Him, standing in front of Him, telling all my problems. When I used to feel low, I used to sit in the temple and used to stare at Baba. One fine day, I was feeling very low about my carrier; I started crying and telling Baba please show me the way. Suddenly I got a message from an MNC telling that I have been selected for the recruitment and I need to apply. I thanked Baba and rushed to home and applied for it and to my surprise I have received the hall ticket for interview, with no written test, only technical and HR.
And to my surprise the location of interview is in the same place where I am attending the course. See how merciful He is. He has chosen a place where I go regularly and I am so much habituated to that place, and that place is where the temple is located. I understood that Baba wants to convey that He is with me. I am so happy. I started preparing for the interview. Finally the day came, I attended the interview. There were so many people, seeing the I am so much scared, because that is first off campus I am attending. But our sweet Baba have flushed out all my fear.
Firstly before attending there was verification check. They checked my certificates and they gave a token number which is “522” total 9, which is Baba number. After getting that number, I gained confidence in myself, till then I felt very low. It’s like Swamy is with me. I completed my technical successfully. Then I went for HR. Swamy himself told all answers so confidently being in me. They told me to wait in a room and finally the result has come that I am selected. I was in an expressionless state. I was unable to believe that I am selected. Now I am waiting for cal letter and one more thing is I haven’t completed my course before itself I got selected in an MNC from off campus, without written test. See amazing are His Leelas. My Experience with Sai Baba
Sai Sister Uma Ji from USA says: I am still speechless, overwhelmed, and happy and I didn’t know what to say or react. There are so many instances that happen in my life though I can’t list out all of them. But I thought of sharing my recent experience with you all. I offer fruit, butter, milk & water as prasad to Baba every day. Read Sai Satcharitra, without doing this I never leave home. Before going to bed, I drink the milk & have the butter.
Next day I use the water & fruit for my breakfast, and this is happening for years. Same routine happen on Monday. I offered apple etc. & left to Sai Mandir Sthapana. Next day I want to offer new fruit, so I took previous day apple. I saw the apple cracked. I was in shock, confused since I was in a hurry. I put it aside & went to Mandir to help them clean.
I showed to my husband & asked if he ever saw an apple cracked, he said may be Varshan (my son) tried to cut it. I asked him, he said no. It looks like crack; it doesn’t look like somebody trying to cut. I want to make sure & clear my doubt, so I asked the priest. He said it is so clear that Baba came to eat your prasdam. I am still overwhelmed with joy and tears. I couldn’t believe what happened to me. It’s true! It’s really true! Thank You so so much Baba for the miracle!

He Stretches his Protective Hand

Truth or Reality can be attained only through the grace of God. 'God, Guru and Self are one,' says Ramana Maharshi. Sai Baba has accorded an exalted place for the Guru, who dispels the ignorance of the devotee and imparts knowledge of the Sat and facilitates his Liberation, the Guru also fulfils the legitimate needs of his devotee, ensuring his wellbeing here and thereafter.
Way back in 1962, I was invited by the U.S. State and Defense Departments for a tour of nine States, newspapers and Defense establishments. It was a group comprising senior journalists from India. Though I was not very keen on going out of the country, Sadguru Radhakrishna Swamiji told me that I should as a journalist, undertake the tour with an open mind. He had also given a few instructions as regards my food and performance of some daily duties.
The group having been provided with a plane for the jampacked tour, I enjoyed meeting various people. Government officials and private citizens and Media people, besides attending a press conference addressed by President J.F. Kennedy.
After about 19 days, while on our way to Warranton (Virginia), for a seminar, I had a frightening dream in which our plane collided with a huge heavenly object and a passenger was injured. I woke up with a start, feeling my breast pocket for the 'Udhi' and started chanting the Lord's name. When the plane landed at the Warranton Airport, it started raining. We were received and taken by a large Defence Department vehicle to the venue of the seminar, about 20 miles away. Before we reached our destination, there was an accident.
Out vehicle, in which I had occupied a window seat, overturned causing some confusion and fear as the exit doors had got jammed. I was concentrating on my Guru without losing my cool. Luckily a farmer was coming from the opposite direction in his tractor. He managed to put our vehicle on the road with the help of some local people and we reached our venue late.
I had managed to send a message to Sri Radhakrishna Swamiji at Bangalore, who also wrote back to me before I returned; stating that he knew that there would be a mishap and I that I would not come to harm. He had also asked me to find out from my wife after my return where he (Swamiji} was, when the accident occurred, calculating the difference in the time.
Soon after safely reaching Bangalore, I asked my wife whether there was any special event on the day (of the mishap). She informed me that Sri Radhakrishna Swamiji, who had come along with Sri Subbaramaiah, a close devotee of his, and Swamiji were in deep meditation in our Pooja Room.
This shows how a Guru, anticipating some problem for his devotee, visited his home and offered prayers to ensure his safety. Sri Swamiji alone Knew why he should have come all the way to my residence. Could he not have performed the rescue act from his place?

Nice experiences. Such a great source for everyone to share their experiences which are useful to boost our faith. Today baba also showed mercy on me. Since 2 weeks my husband is suffering with face numbness, while sleeping. His eye sight also not feeling good. He is scared like anything and mentioned that he is so much worried about family as I am desperately looking for job. I started praying baba and promised that I start sathcharitha. My husband has the check up on first day of reading only. After finishing pooja and before starting reading, I got call from my husband that the doctor said nothing to worry but check up the eyes. I felt very very happy. I know with babas blessing , eye check up will also be fine . Thank you baba. Pleas bless me job as you said by April I will get. Please baba, love you.

A Short Biography of Shree Swami Samarth

Narhari’s Asceticism
Narhari reached Badrika Forest, performed deep penance and then came to
Banaras (Kashi, Varanasi). While in Banaras, he started practising devotion, worship
and meditation. He maintained himself by collecting alms. In addition, Narahari gained
so much expertise in Vedas, Upanishad,56 and Puranas57 that even the eminent learned
men of Banaras started respecting him for his calibre. Though he was very young the
learned men treated him as a senior most ascetic.
In Banaras, there was an elderly Guru named Krishna-Saraswati. He initiated
Narhari according to rites prescribed by the scriptures. After his initiation, young
Narahari became the super ascetic, Sri Narasinha Saraswati. He initiated major
activities for the upliftment of religion and the welfare of mankind in Banaras.
Sri Narasinha Saraswati started for his pilgrimage after taking the kind
permission and blessings from his Guru. After staying in Badrikavan58 for some time, he
came to the Sangama (Calcutta) and wandering around he reached Prayag59. There he
came across a worthy disciple, Madhav. Both wandered together and later, Sri
Narasinha Saraswati Swamiji (i.e. Sriguru) initiated Madhav. He named him as Madhav
Saraswati. Madhav became the favourite disciple of Sriguru. Sriguru then went along
with his seven disciples on pilgrimage and travelled through all the holy places in the
country, Bharat. It was nearing thirty years since he had left home. Hence Sriguru
thought of returning to his native place and meet his parents as promised.
Meeting Parents……..
One day early in the morning Sriguru60 reached Korangnagar in Akola District,
Maharashtra and unexpectedly stood in the courtyard of his home. His parents always
remembered their son Narhari since he had left home, but they were not able to
recognise the ascetic Sriguru who came and stood in their courtyard. However, when
they did recognise him, everyone from the house came for his blessings and
worshipped him. Word spread around and the villagers started to come in for the
blessings of Sriguru.
From within this crowd, his sister Ratna appeared and stood before him. She was
seeing her brother for the first time. Sriguru realized that she desired to talk to him.
Ratna laid herself down at his feet and said, “I would also like to do penance and get
myself deeply involved in devotion”. Sriguru answered,“Offering service to one’s
husband is the prime sacred duty for a woman. That itself is the real path to salvation”.
Ratna asked him, “What are all the happenings that would take place in my life?”
Sriguru then replied, “In your past birth, you severely beat up a cow and created
quarrels in your family by slandering. Hence now your husband would quarrel with you
in this life and become an ascetic. You will suffer from white leprosy marks on your
body, which would give you a lot of pain. But going through all these sufferings will
wash away all your sins. You will then get my Divine blessings when you meet me in
Ganagapur61”.
A number of people from the village invited Sriguru to their homes for accepting
alms. Sriguru did not want to turn anyone down for it might hurt their feelings.
Therefore, he accepted everyone’s invitation. He then visited everyone’s home at the
same time, as promised, in different forms and accepted their worship and alms. When
people realized the fact that Sriguru was present in all their houses at the same instant,
they were all simply shocked with this miracle.
BABA as YOU know last night gave CT Scan for sinus. He said right side of my face is completely covered with sinus and over the forehead too. This is maybe because I my right nostril is not straight. BABA I have ignore this problem from past almost 18-19 years. Now it became worse. Will doctor tell to go for surgery or any other method? No BABA please help me. I don't want to go for surgery or anything. This should be cured with UDI and medicines only. BABA this after noon I am going to see the ENT. PLease be with me. Deep in my mind I feel like they will tell me to go for surgery. BABA please I don't want surgery. BABA please be with me all the time and cure me. This should be cured easily. BABA at last the actual problem is diagnosed. This happened because of YOU only. BABA my husband is feeling low due to my health and now he started not believing in GOD(for this small issue only). YOU know him. Please forgive him. I have faith and I love you so much. YOU know that. YOU said in one answer 'pain will be unbearable but it will go of to the extent I love you'. BABA please take out all this pain and infections. Please cure me BABA with medicines only. Love you BABA.
Thanks BABA. Doctor gave high antibiotics and said 50-50 chances for the sinus to go away with medicines. If it doesn't go away with medicines than I have to go surgery. But BABA I know you wont allow it to happen. I know there wont be any need of surgery. Please BABA my faith should come true. BABA please help me. Please cure with medicines and UDI. Love You BABA. Thanks again. BABA also thinking to go for homeopathy. YOU know last week when I took homeopathy I had suffered a lot but want to try again as I cant take these medicines. Please BABA guide me what to do. Please bless me with good health.
i had the sinus problem for 2 years and had done CT scan and two doctors said me to go for surgery. But I applied Udi and Had it mixed with water daily. Now I am perfectly alright. I prayed to our Baba wholeheartedly. Do the same . Dont worry You will be alright by His grace. sairam sairam sairam

Sai maa is there everywhere blessing his devotees.
The other day my husband who is also a devotee of sai maa was driving listening to some sloka.usually he is sentimental about seeing a vehicle with sai maa picture. That particular day he almost reached but dis not see saimaa photo.He was upset and suddenly an auto overtook his car and there he saw saimaa photo with the words kaatrai varuven meaning I will come like a breeze.

BABAJI 15 march is our 15th marriage annivercy. My husband treat me like a shit all this years. I cried a lot all the time. BABAJI came in our life from last tow years. I m doing SAI navguruvart from last tow years and reading saisatchirtar. Nothing happen to him. He is going out with other girls. Never hearing me. Merried life sees like hell. Have tow kids. Please please all my dear sister and brother's please pray for me to our SAI Maa. Love You all !!!
I had many miracals in this tow years. I gonna share soon with SAI BABAJI grace. I m waiting for my husband coming back to me.

I am very upset today, Today was my job interview, and i am not selected, I prayed a lot to SAI BABA to at least sit me in all rounds, but even that doesn't happen,So i feel very low, and was disappointed. Its all because my fault that i am not selected, but i will work hard for next time, firstly i thought that BABA does not love me, but now i realise that may be BABA has done this to do something best for me, but i feel like crying a lot, BABA G has told me to be humble and control myself, otherwise nobody will be with me, so i have controlled myself, I just feel gulity for this, that my parents has fullfilled all my wishes, and now they expect from me, My mother is still supporting me a lot, But i need a job,,My father needs help now of his children, He is fed up with his private job, My elder brother , he is also not settled, So i feel very low,
But i know SAI BABA g is with me, he has shown his presence to me yesterday(Thrusday). I am very happy for that.
I need a job, I dont want to be free. Sai Baba g.please be with me always, OM SAI RAM

Hi sai pa, how are you? im not ok baba.I feel very very down and negative. I know that u r listening to me and im able to feel your presence in my life but still im not getting that full mergement in you please forgive me for that.I want to forget this guy swamy.He came into my life was after me for 4 months like anything and made me fall for him.After which for the past 4 yrs im after him,crying, begging,fighting and upset most of the time.He is not respecting me at all.He made me lose all my confidence and made me very weak at heart.I had to quit my job just because of him.Now im jobless and heartless.Please help me with a job for confidence and to keep my mind occupied.I should prove to all men in my life like my father,uncles,brother,friends and ex boy friend that i am efficient too and can achieve something.I want to break all their noses, feel good about myself and make my mother proud for giving birth to me. My second request is marriage.Please send me a guy,make him and me to fall in love with each other whole heartedly.it definitely should not be a one sided one at any cost in any means.I should love him and be with him always and vice versa.Atleast that man in my life should make me feel that men are not bad.That guy should make me forget all false people of my life and make me forget my very bad past.Please pa do something about this.i think i have done too much of bad things in past and present karma and my parents and grand parents too must have done too much of bad things thats the reason im suffering badly in all aspects especially in relationship matters.Please wash those bad karmas of mine through your lovely hands with the tears that i have shed for more than 30 yrs please father please.Hear to your daughters request.Im begging like anything for my life.Please make me reborn again as a new girl with a new life.please please please

Anita Ji, Baba showed you very nicely how to perform the 9 Thursdays Vrat and gave you some guidance when you were seeking from your superior. 2nd devotee, Baba always helps us when we are in a difficult situation and although we may have to go through some difficult tests in our lives, Baba is there with us to make it as easy for us as possible.
