My Experiences Of Shirdi Sai Baba’s Miracles

Anonymous Sai Devotee from India says: A student, in need of a guide for his Text Book, will go to the market and pick the guide of an author of his choice. But, in sharp contrast, according to my personal experience over long period, it is beyond the capacity of an ordinary individual to choose particular Deity, regard Him as his God and worship Him. Rather, the reality is the other way round. It is a particular Deity or Divine Power Who takes initiative in respect of a particular individual about whom He knows that the person is His potential devotee and will follow His teachings as well as His Path to move towards the field of spirituality. While in some cases, the relationship between the two, may get built up without much waiting period, and in others, it may materialise at distant future. It all depends on the level of development of the inner-self of the potential devotee, i.e. how far the potential devotee is mentally ready to start his journey. In absence of the favourable situation, the Divinity creates conditions and opens new vistas in various ways, so that when the time is ripe, the would-be devotee could come on the tracks. How Shirdi Sai Baba drew me to Himself:-

The incident took place somewhere during early 60s. One day, while returning from office in Mumbai by regular local train, I happened to come in contact with a commuter. The accidental meeting became a regular feature, and with passage of time, we became thick friends, so much so that my mother used to treat him as her son. He was a staunch devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba and used to tell us His stories. As my parents and ancestors were religious minded, I could easily grasp his stories about Sai Baba. Not so frequently, but as and when convenient, I used to go to Sai Baba’s Mandir situated at the outskirts of Thane city- considered by devotees as Mini Shirdi. As suggested by my friend, through whom Sai Baba drew me to Himself, I started reading Shri Sai Satcharitra mostly daily one chapter and some times, observed ‘Saptahiki, i.e. I finished reading in a week.

Experiences of Miracles of Sai Baba: – In 1995, my right knee got fractured in a road accident and I had to take long leave. (Later, on mature thought, I started viewing the ‘road accident’ as ‘an incident divinely ordained’, because it turned out to be ‘a blessing in disguise’ for me. Once, I went to Sai Baba’s Mandir at Thane. I wanted to give my offering of Rs.11, but as I had no change, I put only Rs.10 in the box. After some days, when I was returning from market, a beggar, who was holding a plastic bag, approached me and said, “Mere ko Bhaaji hai, aap mujhe ek rupaya diyo, main paav loonga. ” I gave him Re. 1. In the evening, when I opened Shri Sai Satcharitra to read that day’s chapter, it turned out to be one that deals with the subject how Sai Baba realises the shortfall of the desired offering from His devotees. One rupee does not count, but the payment of the shortfall of a single rupee could provide golden opportunity to experience Sai Baba’s Miracle. I felt blessed, as Sai Baba showed to me His Miracle to deepen my faith in Him.

Next experience of the Miracle was just opposite to the above one. Once, I went to Sai Baba’s Mandir in Mulund. After putting my offering in the box and praying, when I came out, I saw a beggar on the opposite footpath. I went to him and gave him Rs2. He asked for Rs.5. I satisfied him. From there, I went to my chemist by rickshaw, as I had to exchange some medicines and also purchase some more. The total bill showed cost of Rs.1,247. The chemist told me to pay only round figure of Rs.1240. Then it dawned on me that I had given my offering as per my wish, but what extra I paid to the beggar, Sai Baba arranged to get me refund of the excessive amount. I felt blessed and thanked him.

Somewhere in the beginning of this year, I experienced most surprising Miracle. Before retiring for the day, I daily seek Sai Baba’s blessings for a wake-up call to remain in His mental touch (i. e. to sit in meditation). Accordingly, one day, I got up at exactly 3.00 a.m. I took wash and sat for meditation at 3.08 a.m. During meditation, eyes remain closed, and one does not know how time flies. All of a sudden, I heard a voice, “ Ankhein Kholo. ” I was sure it has to Sai Baba’s. I looked at the clock; it was 5.08 a.m. on dot. I moved towards Sai Baba’s picture hung on the wall, bowed before Him and prayed,” Sai Baba, bless bunda like this in future also. My mid- night sittings vary from 1/2 hour to 2 hours, and longer at times. But, with Sai Baba’s blessings, in view of my health, it so happens that, by and large, every sitting ends on dot, signifying full hour/s or parts of hour. And to hear His voice exactly after 2 hours that it was Sai Baba.

During last May, I went to my family doctor, in the evening. It takes about 10-12 minutes from my home to reach his clinic by foot. When I came out after consulting, there was heavy vehicular traffic. I crossed the road to wait for Rickshaw at the corner of the just opposite street, leading to my home. After some time, a Rickshaw turned in the direction of the street. I signalled and it stopped. I thanked Sai Baba as during peak hours, I could get Rickshaw. After 10 days, I called on the doctor in the evening. When free, I left the clinic, crossed the road through vehicles to reach my spot. I saw a Rickshaw speeding towards the street. I raised my hand, and the Rickshaw driver obliged. When I entered, I found to my surprise that it was the same Rickshaw that I got last time. A thought crossed my mind that can the driver be Sai Baba, but I dismissed the thought saying to myself how Sai Baba will take my care, I am an ordinary person. After some days the need arose to meet my doctor. Like previous 2 occasions, it was evening time. After reporting, I had to return to my home and, once again, waited for the Rickshaw at the same place. All the while, I was thinking, “will I get the same Rickshaw. ” Yes, it was the same Rickshaw for third time in row. This time, I was sure that the driver MUST BE Sai Baba Himself, Who has taken trouble to come to the rescue of His devotee. I bowed to him from behind. I was in dilemma, how should I broach the subject. On reaching my place, while paying Him the fare, I smilingly told Him,” Aapko yaad hai ki aapne mujhay pahle bhi do baar yahaan laaya hai?” He uttered some words, which I could not understand. I do not have words to describe my inner happiness.

Baba Is Always With Us

Baba came into my life 5 years ago when I was going through a very difficult phase of life. I would like to mention that I am alive because of Baba. I didn’t had the strength to face all the things that I had been through, in past 5 years. When I look back I wonder how did I manage to survive. No matter what when Sai Baba is at our side, everything is possible. After four years of sufferings Baba had blessed me with a nice job not only job but He also put an end to all my problems. Life was going very smooth. Four months ago I had thrown a party at my place. I had invited my office friends. I usually don’t drink. That day my friends insisted me and I had wine that day. As I took the first sip of wine I saw a picture of Sai Baba on Facebook. I am posting that picture here (not attached in original submission by devotee, so not sharing). You all can see Baba’s face is full of anger. I’m very sorry but meanwhile I had also used slang for one of my office member. The picture of Sai Baba was with a message. “Can’t you speak sweet and soft words? You read this book Vishnu Saharsanama everday and still your mind is impure and your passions uncontrolled” I understood that it was for me because I had abused someone, was drinking and I do read Vishnu Saharsanama. That day I made a vow that I will never drink again in my life.

After few days of this incident life turned upside down. I went under depression. I cried every single day. The worst thing is that I totally forgot Baba and started running to different temples. Nothing worked for me. I lost my health, mental peace and reputation at job. After some days I realised that I had left hand of my Baba. I started praying Him to forgive me. You are very kind Baba that You forgive me after all this.

My condition has become better than before and I have come out of depression. “When the going gets tough, then you sit to pray. When the burden gets unbearable, then you seek My feet !! Why wait for the worst, to do the best ? Make prayers, chanting and make me part of your lives. Make These feet yours. Hold on them tight. So that you don’t have to grope in dark, when troubles and turmoil overpower. So you are not in need of support when you need the support most. In my happy times I had forgotten Baba. I regret for that today. I was busy in shopping, movies etc. but not Baba. I really feel very bad for it. One more thing I have learnt no matter what we should always keep a positive attitude towards life. What we give to this universe it comes back to us. Long back I always used to curse my life. I used to think that others’ lives are better than mine. Infact I used to tell God that I don’t want this life. Since then only problems started in my life. We should respect what God has given to us. That is why we should avoid sadness, anger, jealousy in our life. This is what Baba has taught me. I know I have committed many mistakes in my life. But I have learnt a lot from my mistake. And you know Baba is my teacher. He keeps enlightening me. I am sorry if I have written something wrong. Have faith in Baba and keep going on. Baba knows what is best for us.

Lord Sai Wants Nothing But Devotion

I resigned from my old job due to heights of politics and back biting. Though I do have a lot of commitments and responsibilities, I had to quit that job respecting self respect. I went on praying our beloved Sai to take care of me and my family. Probably, my devotion was not complete and faith insufficient, I spent three and half months without any job. But due to Sai’s grace, as we have some small rental revenue, we were managing the family. Now, see the miracle of our beloved Sai, I received a telephonic call on an evening at about 5.10 pm from an organization where I was not selected in my previous attempt. They called me to meet them on the same day before 7.00 pm on the same evening. I reached the place by 6.40 pm and attended the interview which was pretty simple and not complicated at all. I was informed that I was selected and asked to join immediately. Of course, I started attending the duty from Thursday – our Baba’s day. I understand that this new organization is going thru internal turmoil over ownership issues and a kind of turbulent times are prevailing. I only pray our Yogiraj Maharaj Sairam to settle things in the right way and all our careers and lives get settled.

I had a small but beautiful Sai’s photo frame to keep on the working table. This I had misplaced somewhere at my home and searched a lot but for no avail. Then, I remembered our Sairam mentally promising that I will share my experience if I get that Sai Photo frame. Within few minutes, with Sai’s grace, I found the photo frame in my regular bag which I carry every day. I pray our beloved Sairam to bless me and my family with unflinching faith and Saburi. Oh Sai please bless all Your children forgiving all our mistakes and sins that we would have committed in our lives. Let every breath of mine seek Sairam and oh Sai Deva release us from this Bhavasagar and take us into Your shelter at Your lotus feet. Hey my dear Sai Deva, please make my mind firm and still in Your divine Namasmaran and Sankeerthan. In true sense, You are my mother, father, Guru and almighty. Oh lord Sairam, I do not get further words to say. Please bless all Your children with true Shraddha and Saburi. Loka Samastha Sukhino Bhavantu. Sai Darshan

Anonymous Sai Devotee from India says: Hi, I am from India, coming from a background wherein I have literally lot many restrictions at home. Basically, there is a problem of not getting approval from parents for marriage with the person I want to get married. Om Sai Ram! I would like to thank Shri Sai Baba for the opportunity He gave me to visit Shirdi for the first time in my life time, that too with my fiancé. It has been many years now my family planning to go to Shirdi, but it never happened. Actually, why this experience is a great one for me is because I am going through a real tough time at home since my parents not giving approval to get married and not happy with my choice, and also don’t allow me to be out with him. Inspite of these difficulties and restrictions, it so happened that we both visited Shirdi. How this happened of travelling to Shirdi is Sai Baba’s grace. That is I went for a wedding in Maharashtra and my fiancé also came there, and somehow we managed to go to Shirdi without knowledge of my parents. Also, we both were happy for one more reason that is we got to attend Sai aarti, for which I consider myself lucky. This is all made possible by Sai Baba for both of us to visit Shirdi Sai Baba darshan together. Actually, my fiancé is a devotee of Sai Baba more than myself, hence myself reaching to Shirdi was the grace of God through him. I thank Sai Baba for making it possible for both of us to get darshan together. Also thanks to my fiancé because he always tells me to keep faith in Sai. With Sai Baba’s grace hoping to visit Shirdi soon again together as a newly married couple even prior to any other trip elsewhere after wedding, because we both have faith in Sai Baba that He will make impossible into possible. Sai Baba ki jai!

Keys Misplaced

Anonymous Sai Devotee from India says: I am a housewife and a Sai devotee. Waiting for His blessings and guidance in life. I have been a Sai devotee from 2004. He has done a lot of miracles in my life. But one recent experience where I promised to post on this site. Usually I have one set of house keys in my handbag when we go out. My husband has one set. When we had gone out to doctor’s place recently I looked for my keys sitting in the clinic. I could not find it in the usual pouch where I keep it in handbag. In my experience of the 30+ years of married life I have never ever lost the keys. I started panicking. My husband also unfortunately did not bring his keys. I prayed to Baba that if I get my keys I will post it on this site. We searched everywhere. But no luck. I was depressed. My husband started yelling at me and was angry as we cannot enter the house at all. We came to the car and when I got into the car something hurt my leg. When I looked down I was pleasantly surprised to see my keys. It is definitely His blessings that I found the keys.

Sai’s Udi Miracle

Sai Appa has always been with me both in bad and good times. Sai Appa loves His children and comes to their rescue the moment we call out to Him. Now I will come to my recent experience. My mum had urinary tract infection. I was very worried as she has many chronic health issues. I told my mum to take Udi mixed with water before her next urine test. It was really a miracle. Urine infection cleared within a week and it was all because of Udi. My mum is still facing other health issues but I’m sure Sai Appa will take care and cure her illness. Om Sai Ram!
