Diyas Miracle Of Sai Nath

Hi Hetal Ji, Thanks a lot for wonderful site to share our experiences with this entire world. I am sharing one of the miracle happened yesterday. I want to share a wonderful experience that happened on 28th Feb 2013. Ours is a big family. My father is a Sai devotee, so we used to visit Shirdi at least once in a year since my childhood (approx from past 30 years i can say). So, we all are Sai devotees in our family.
We used to perform Sai Bhajan in our home occasionally, inviting close friends, relatives and neighbors and do Sai pooja and Bhajan. This time my brother’s mother-in-law planned to do Sai Bhajan in my brother’s house. I prayed to Baba to make me attend this Bhajan as I was having little more work in my office. By Baba’s grace, I have no work on that day and started early from office. Baba helped me to reach home early. I got ready and went to my brother’s house with my wife. Baba, Ganeshji and Matadi (photos) were decorated with beautiful flowers.
Now Bhajan Mandali wants to start the Bhajan, so they asked us to lit the diyas (lamps) near Baba’s photo. We were performing this pooja, Bhajan on open terrace. As all sides are open, winds or air blowing from all sides. We failed to lit the lamps after struggling a lot. But finally we managed to lit the diyas and make them burn. They were burning, but due to wind, they were putting off. However, we managed to lit them with continuous efforts and started the Bhajan.
Bhajan started around at 7:15 pm. We were feeling internally bad as diyas were putting off due to wind frequently. Finally diyas started burning continuously after few minutes (approx after 30 minutes of starting the Bhajan).We prayed Baba to take care of diyas and see to it they burn till end of Bhajan. Around 150 people participated in the Bhajan. We all enjoyed Sai’s songs and danced on few of the songs. Diyas were still burning. We had very good Bhajan for nearly 3.5 hrs. Finally, Aarti song was sung to close the Bhajan. All the guests, friends had dinner and left the place around 11:30 pm. Still the Diyas were burning. Around 12:00 am in the morning, we wrapped all the work after having dinner and cleaned the terrace. Still the Diyas were burning. My brother, mother, few relatives, kids, etc stayed back as it was too late in the night and slept in front of small stage, where Sai, ganeshji, mataji’s photos were placed. Diyas were still burning. It was around 2 am now. All the people slept now around 2 am.
My brother got up in the morning around 5 am and to his great surprise and wonder the Diyas were burning still. My brother called everyone over phone and informed this miracle of Baba. Few of friends came again in the morning to see the Diyas. He called me around 7 am to tell this miracle. But I was sleeping and got up around 8 am and went to see the miracle (burning diyas). I was surprised to see the Diyas burning still. This shows, Baba has filled our desire to have the diyas keep burning not only till end of Bhajan, but till next day. Diyas were burning till 9:30 am next day.
Jai Bolo Sainath Maharaj Ki Jai. Have Faith and patience. He will take care of the rest. No wind can dare to put off any diya that is protected by safe hands of our Sai Nath Maharaj.

Dear Hetal Ji, I am a recent devotee of Sai ram and this is my first post in this website. Please keep my name and email id anonymous. I read this blog first thing every morning and it fills me with hope and faith. Thank you for your good work.
I came to know of Sai Baba only after my marriage in 2010, as my husband was a sincere devotee for a long time. Initially, I was not so interested in knowing about Sai, as I did not have belief and my husband also never pushed me to it.
A couple years later, we were going through difficult times in our life and my husband started reading one chapter from Sai Satcharitra every day. He used to read it aloud and slowly slowly I was pulled towards Sai Ram. Although my interest and faith grew gradually, I felt that I still did not have 100% devotion, as I had a lot of questions in my mind. I even had the blessing of visiting Shirdi in Sept 2012, but I was still not convinced. Then I had the following life changing experience that quashed all doubts and questions. Now Sai Ram is my only Saviour!
Towards the end of last year, my dad fell unwell and needed an emergency surgery. I rushed from UK to India to be with him. It was a traumatic time for our whole family as it was a major surgery. Since I didn’t know what else to do and felt so helpless, I prayed to Sai and left everything at His feet. When we were going to the hospital, I was praying that show me a sign that everything is going to be ok in any form. I had not started reading this blog at that point of time and had no clue that a lot of devotees also look for signs for Him in the form of His photo or His name anywhere. Anyway, I kept looking and looking and unfortunately I could not see any sign until we reached the hospital. I was almost in tears and was scared that something might go wrong. Then we entered the hospital, which is quite popular and so was very crowded. I knew that there was a Vinayagar statue in the hallway just outside the doctor’s cabin. So I thought I’ll go pray to Ganesha thinking of Him as Sai and hope all will go well.
When I went there, I was shocked. Just near the Ganesha statue, a new idol had been installed, which was not there before. It was our Sai in all His glory. I was moved to tears and fell at His feet. I knew that moment that my dad will be ok and He will take care. Everything went smoothly and touchwood, my dad will live a very long life with Sai’s blessings.
I pray to HIM to bless me with a healthy child and that everyone should have ‘Shraddha’ and ‘Saburi’ in Him always. He will always show us the way and be our strong support, even if we don’t realise it. I had a few more experiences after that, which increased my faith in Him. I will share them later. Now thanks to this wonderful website I read His leelas everyday! Om Sri Sai Ram!

Hi, This is my 2nd post, a short one though. My first post is here. Hetal Ji, Anil Gupta Ji and Rana Gill Ji, thanks a lot for maintaining this blog. It’s wonderful and gives a lot of hope to all of us, a true Sai service.
When I reached home last night from work, I felt a teasing pain in my left arm only. I couldn’t think of any plausible reason as to why it was happening. I mean nothing like I’d have got bumped into something unknowingly earlier, which is being felt only now, nothing of the sort. I vaguely remember reading somewhere this could be starting of a stroke (it’s so easy for us to think the worst). Immediately despite the fact that I am quite healthy by Baba’s grace, I remembered our dear Sai then and left it onto Him to take care of it. I offered my daily prayer thereafter and it was gone; no sign of pain at all as if none existed. I love my Sai. He is there to take care of all of us, so why fear!!

Deva thank you Baba for everything. Saiji the thought of 9thursday vrat is continuously coming in my mind since few weeks so I am starting it from today by your grace please permit me to perform this vrat without any obstacles. I was worrying very much for not having child for 3 years after my marriage and praying baba continuously to bless me with a child. Everyone are looking at me differently as I didn't conceive and others who are younger to me are blessed with children. My mind seriously needs a child to come out of depression as I was facing some family problems. This made me to go into depression and even office colleagues didn't care me as I am always calm thinking all these problems.I was literally waiting for any devotee to give me Saivrat book so that I can start it to have a child. Finally after long wait baba made a devotee to give me a saivrat book on Ugadi day. I started the next week, but to my unluck, after completing 5 weeks my father-in-law's father has passed away and people are saying not to do any pooja till one year. I don't understand what to do now, as I believe I have to complete that vrat then only I will get my wish to have a child, but 1 year is a long time as I already waited for long time till now. Sai devotees please suggest me what to do in this situation?

Dear Sai Sister, my Mother-in-Law passed away just after 2 months of my wedding. I still did The 9 Thursday Vrat of Baba. I was told not to go to temple. So my Mother distributed the Vrat books on the last Thursday. However i did all the Puja at home. I am sure you can do the Vrat too. Baba never imposed ant rules on us. He just wants simple FAITH and DEVOTION.
Baba will bless you with a healthy baby soon. Prayers for you and your family.

Dear Sai devotee, Sai RAM! Let me tell you one thing, BABA looks only to your heart. HE does not want any devotee to fill stress to perform any rituals. If you just read Sai Satcharitra and chant SAI's name all the time and request BABA to consider this as your POOJA for your Vrat.
And this is something that our religious minded people who believe to follow tradition blindly would not like this, but BABA does not think of such things as "inauspicious" time may be it is a death in the family or having routine periods for women to go visit BABA's temple or to continue with your practice of performing prayers for BABA.
But it is equally ok with BABA to respect elder family members and do as they say, no one can stop you from chanting BABA's name or reading Sai Saitcharitra!

Dear Sai devotee, BABA always accepts repentance who pleads with clear heart. You may have done wrong but since you say you won't do that again, and I press on this that DO NOT continue doing wrong and seeking to be forgiven for your repeated mistakes of the same issue.

Dear Sai Devotee, Jai SAI RAM. When I started reading your post, my first reaction was "hey, first of all, why to lit a diya in open space in windy situation?, he should have used some sort of wind protection by keeping Diya in a deep container like we lit a diya in GARABO during Navaratri."
But as I kept reading your post, my mind also blew away with the fact that the DIYAS kept burning for so many hours in the same situation where the DIYa was putting off due to wind.
Thanks for sharing and help us have more FAITH in BABA's blessings and protection to all who seek HIM.

Nice experiences! 2nd Devotee from UK, perhaps there was some bad thing that was trying to come into your life, but Baba's grace and miracle removed it very soon so it wouldn't cause you trouble. 1st devotee from UK, Baba came there to show you that your father would be all right and everything with the surgery would go well since Baba will be there to assist the doctors and other medical staff so your father would get well soon. Devotee from India, your story of the diyas staying lit is very nice and similar to how Baba kept the diyas lit when Baba wasn't given any oil by the merchants in Shirdi. Om Sai Ram!

Baba today I have done big mistake in my life, I hurted my mother very badly..Am feeling like dying, I couldn't able to talk to my mother lively after that situation..I already felt on my mom's feet and asked to forgive. But that incident was pinching me every second baba I couldn't stop my tears baba please forgive me baba and bless my amma with good health..
