Sai Baba Saved & Guarded Us From Danger – Anonymous Sai Devotee

Even if we do not pray Lord Sai Baba, He comes to us in some or the other manner just to confirm us that Almighty God is with us in time of calamity and He is sure to help us.

Anonymous Devotee from USA says: Om Sai Ram Hetal Ji,I want to thank you for providing us this opportunity to feel the presence of Sai Baba in our daily lives through the experiences shared by so many devotees. It’s my daily and most important and pleasant task to read the shared experiences daily. I have had the opportunity to share an experience before and I thank you for posting it. I would like to stay anonymous.

I offer my pranam to Shree Sai Baba and invoke His blessing for the experience I will share today. Please forgive me if I make any mistakes Baba and I am sorry for the delay in sharing it. I am sharing this along with my sister and we thank You Baba for everything from the bottom of our hearts and ask for Your continued blessings.

We come from a middle class family and consist of Mom, Dad, Elder sister and myself. Both of us have been married and have 2 children each by the blessing of Baba. Baba has always been with us but we had never recognized it until recently. My sister’s Husband is a successful IT professional and also has an interest in astrology. He regularly goes to astrology classes and has been doing so for the past few years. In September of last year, he met his astrology Guru at Guru’s house. After the usual conversations my Jiju had come out of the house bidding good bye, when the Guru came out suddenly and invited him back again to a special pooja room in his house. My jiju’s Guruji is an ardent devotee of Shree Sai Baba. Guruji took my Jiju to the room and said not many are allowed to come here, but I wanted to give you Baba’s blessings and gave him a shawl of Baba and UDI in a box and said this UDI is very powerful- people from America too come to take this UDI as it is known to cure Cancer too. Jiju received it and was extremely happy to receive the blessing. Jiju and my sister did not make much of it at that point in time. A month later, my Sister was not feeling well and was complaining of severe pain in her abdomen. In spite of us all asking her to go to a Doctor, she kept avoiding it and was trying other remedies, but her health was getting worse. Suddenly one day, her neighbor, who happens to be a doctor, saw her and said she does not look right and asked her to get checked next day at her hospital. After some very excruciating days of tests etc, we found out that she had ovarian cancer. We were all shattered as soon as we heard that. The world around was collapsing. My Dad was working in Singapore during this time and immediately came back to India. Treatment immediately began and Chemotherapy was started. What we did not realize then is that Baba had already entered our lives and was taking care of us. (Also I should mention that my sister always was attracted by Shree Sai Baba, which we were not aware) I live in the US and was in grief unable to comprehend what my family was going through. I live in a place where there are a lot of temples and used to occasionally go to Sai Baba temple too, but I did not realize His presence. I was trying to cope with the situation, suddenly I felt I should start to do fasting on Thursdays and visit the Sai Baba temple to seek His blessing for my sister and entire family. I decided to do this vrat for 9 weeks. It’s important to mention that I was not aware of the Shawl and UDI blessing my Jiju had received nor did I know anything about the Nav Guruvar vrat- so now I am sure how I got the feeling to do the fasting for 9 weeks and to visit Sai Baba temple. It was Shree Sai Baba pulling us all together and helping us and blessing us. Days were going by now everyone in the house was amazed to learn how Jiju had received the blessing of Sai Baba and the UDI. My sister had started to apply the UDI also and kept the shawl with her at all times. With Baba’s grace the first Chemo went well, but was of a smaller doze to see how she would be able to handle it. When her second chemo day was approaching, we were all very scared as it would be of a higher doze and were praying to Baba to help her sustain the treatment. When she got admitted to her room for the 2nd doze, we found Sai Baba’s photo on the window sill facing her. Sai Baba had arrived there even before us to safeguard her and to give her the strength. Again with Baba’s grace, she responded well to the treatment and was soon given 3rd chemo too. During this time, my mom and dad were working very hard to take care of her and her family. It was during December 3rd week, when I had called my parents and suddenly we discussed how my parents always wanted to go to Shirdi, but were unable to due to lack of leave or money. After I hung up, my husband immediately started to look for tickets online and since it was Christmas and New year’s it was a very busy time and we were not able to find tickets. But again if Babaji wishes, everything is possible and we were able to book a ticket for them. We were all very happy and my parents were able to seek Baba’s blessing for my sister and all of us. Soon tests were done and the doctors said that she could be operated and it is best for her. What’s again amazing is I was so distraught that I could not help them out sitting so far away and wished to go to India, but during December the tickets from US to India are very expensive. But again with divine intervention my husband’s cousin happened to mention casually (who does not call often) that there were huge cancellations in a particular airline and the tickets were available at an affordable price and we were all able to go to India right in time for Surgery to help my parents and jiju. All this time my 9 Guruvar vrat was also being performed. I learnt of Sai Satcharitra, which I had started to read. Finding an oncologist surgeon was a huge task and again with Baba’s blessing we were able to find one of the best surgeons as quickly as Jan 2nd. As days were progressing, we were able to feel Baba’s presence more and more and the surgery went well. My family was also blessed and was given the chance to visit Shirdi to seek blessings for our entire family during our visit to India. I have no words to explain the feeling. I had prayed to Baba that the cancer should not have spread anywhere and I should hear good news before I was leaving back to USA. Also when I had visited my in-laws, a store keeper suddenly gave me Shree Sai’s karya siddi yantra again showing that He is with all of us during this difficult period. As always He is there for His devotees. We found out from the surgery report that it had not spread at all. To be on the safer side Doctors recommended 3 more rounds of chemo and with Baba’s grace she was able to sustain that well too. She is now cured with Sai Baba’s grace and now our entire family is a staunch devotee of Shri Sai Baba and there is not a moment when we don’t think of Him. He is our life. My Sister and family have also visited Shirdi and that trip was divine and special too as she had many amazing experiences, which I will share another time with Baba’s blessing.
