First time I had visited Shirdi Sai Baba temple was on 2004 after my marriage was fixed. I again visited Shirdi Sai Baba temple with my family during Oct 2012. This was my third attempt to take my family. Previous two attempts were failure and had to cancel tickets. After coming back from Shirdi (second visit), I had sudden surge of love and affection towards Sai Baba. In 2004 I had bought English version of Sai Satcharitra, but I could not complete full reading for some reasons. I had completed Sai Satcharitra reading after second recent visit. Maybe I took a month to complete. I am always chanting Sai Baba in mind.

On 16-12-2012, first day of holy Margashirsha, around 1:15 to 1:45 pm, after having lunch at my parents house (as my wife was in her parents place), I came out and I saw a person wearing muddy white turban, having long beard, which was dyed of Mehindi. He was wearing flat gems of color milky white, orange mala, having a navy blue jholi standing and asking for alms. As I have a habit of giving money to beggars whoever approaches me. I took Rs.5/- and gave him. As I was about to start my motor cycle, he started saying Baba to Kabhi Bhi Yada Karna (always remember Baba). His dress was not of a Hindu. I asked which Baba. He said Shirdi wale Baba. At once I got down from my bike. He said Rs.5/- is not sufficient for me. It slipped from his hand, when he took it was a piece of charcoal. He told me to open my palm, kept this small charcoal on my hand and told me to chant Om Sai Ram and Om Shakthi Sai.
I was astonished as I am devotee of Om Shakthi and go to Melmarathur temple every year. He told me to open my palm. I opened my palm to see a five face rudraksha. He told me to wear in neck. He asked me money again. I gave him Rs.100/- this time. Again he folded this note and placed it my hand closing his hand told me chant Om Sai Ram and Om Shakthi Sai. My center of palm became warm. When I opened it, it was a milky white small gemstone on triangle shape. He said to keep in pooja room, wealth and prosperity will come. He asked for money I gave him Rs.10/-, he refused. So I gave him Rs.100/- and told me to always remember Sai Baba and if possible go to Shirdi. I told him that I had just returned from Shirdi and but pray for me and family to Sai Baba. Yes he said and went away. I don’t know what happened that day. I totally gave that Fakir Rs.205/- that day and I never gave more than Rs.5/- to any one asking for alms.

Later I found out from Internet that he dress is that of a fakir and stone presented to me is a milky white agate. I got excited immediately went to in parents-in-laws house and told my wife what happened. My wife told that early morning around 1 am the same day, she saw white figure like Sai Baba near her bed and it vanished immediately. After this experience, I, my wife, my mother-in-law started Sai Vrat. Again I had booked ticket to Shirdi in June month. If Sai Baba permits, I will visit again.

I am Sai Baba Devotee. I live in India with my husband. I work part-time from home. I feel my Sai Babaji’s presence everyday in my life. Whatever I have in my life is all due to the love, affection and grace my Grandfather Sai (That is how I call Him). Everything is SAI for me.

Dear Sai Sister Hetal Ji, I am so delighted to post my experience or rather call it the way Our lovely Sai has blessed our family friend and brought him out from the jaws of death. It is my very humble request that you please do not disclose my name and email id. Let me just be anonymous. Our Sai’s leela is as follows. Please bear with me if you feel it is too long.

We have a very good family friend, who is so devoted to Lord Shiva and Saima. He goes on a lot of holy pilgrimage and that is how my mother came to know Him. About 3 weeks back, my mother told me that he is suffering from stomach cancer. This was diagnosed long time back and he also had some surgery to remove the cancerous part from the stomach. Suddenly about 3 weeks back, he stopped eating properly and started to throw up everything that he ate and also started vomitting blood. He was admitted in the hospital and he was fed intravenously (through tubes). Even then he was still vomiting. Doctors said that there is some internal bleeding in the area where they have operated before and have to stop it first and then only make him eat and stop the vomiting. Only if this is done, they can make him strong enough to withstand Chemotherapy.

I was so dejected, when I heard this from my mother and I just told her one thing. I asked her to tell the Uncle to drink UDI mixed with water every day (as that is the best medicine according to me) and I told her that I will read Sai Satcharitra for him every day (how much ever I can read). She also started reading every day. I also started chanting Lord Sri Danvantri (I call him SAI DANVANTRI) mantra for him every day. My mother went to see him in the hospital and she used to have a little Baba statue with her that someone bought for her from Shirdi. She always has in her purse and never gives little Baba to anyone. That day when she went to the hospital, she just took Baba out and gave Him to that Uncle and said ” HE will take care of everything”. He was continuing to not eat properly and doctors literally said “Only God can help him” and YES Our Mother SAI did come to save him from the jaws of death. That Uncle had to have another minor surgery, which will alter the way the food is being taken in (because his food was not able to go in through the food pipe). During this time, Uncle’s brother, me and my mother and all of his friends just surrendered everything to Sai Ram. I told Sai Ram on the day of the operation “My Grandpa SAI You are the Doctor, who is going to do the surgery today. You know what to do because You are Dr. SAI. We are all Your children and You will always protect us in every possible way. We will not fear when You are with us. We will let You take care of the rest”.

The surgery was successful as it was done by Dr. SAI BABA and Uncle was on a liquid diet for 5 days after the operation and now wonder of wonders, he has started eating solid foods and there is no more vomiting by our SAIMA’s grace. He is able to get up and walk around the room and Baba is getting him back on his feet. This reminds me of an instance in Sai Satcharitra chapter 13, where our Saima cured one of His devotee’s vomiting and diarrhoea by His powerful words ” You should not purge anymore and the vomiting must also stop” I think Saima has done the same in my Uncle’s case. From this I can just say one thing. Surrender to our Saima completely. He DEFINITELY will take care of everything and give the best fruits for us. He is the Doctor of doctors and UDI is the best medicine.

The Leelas really strengthen faith and confidence on Baba and helps in bringing devotees more and closer towards Him. I am sharing one of my experiences here. Baba is everything is my life. I pray to Him to be with me all the times and improve my faith in Him more and more. I work in USA in a software firm, where people work on projects for a period and move on to different projects when the work is done at that place. Recently my project was completed and I either had to get another project within a month or move back to India or lose the job. I had complete faith in Baba, whatever He does; He does it for my best. Two weeks flew, but I did not get a single call for my next project and I was left with a short time. This put me in some tension. One night I suddenly woke up from sleep and panicking about my situation, cried like anything in front of Baba. I prayed Him wholeheartedly and wished to get me into a project within that Thursday (which was just 2/3 days away) and promised to do the Nav Guruvar Vrat and also to share my experience after my wish is fulfilled. Then after some time, I decided to read your blog (at least one experience) to get some mental peace, also asking Baba to give me an appropriate message that He is there to help me.

I opened your site and started reading one Leela. To my surprise, I came across a very similar experience where a devotee was released from a project and almost decided to pack everything to move back to India. The devotee was doing Nav Guruvar Vrat with a strong hope that Baba will help them and indeed Baba helped them and got him into a project. How appropriate than this the message can be to me!! I immediately apologized to Baba for crying. Also, exactly on that Thursday I was selected for a project. Thanks a lot Baba for proving that You are there for me. Baba really takes care of everything for His devotees. We just need to have complete patience, love and faith in Him. He is always there to help us. Baba!
