How Baba Saved My Faith

I’d first like to thank Hetalji and her team for putting together such a comprehensive and open forum for devotees to post their experiences. This helps us all wade through the most of the difficult times and also helps to keep the flames of our faith alive when our lives seem to be the darkest. The experience Baba has inspired me to narrate today, is one of several that I have experienced over the last few years.

My story begins in March 2010. I went to college in the US and got my first job there in March 2010. My visa status at that time was temporary and my employer had to file a visa extension before August 28th 2010(A Saturday). As I was pretty naive and unaware, I felt this filing would take place smoothly, as I had already been offered the job. Months passed after my initial hiring in March and all of a sudden it was the beginning of August 2010. My employer had done very little to file the extension and they seemed to be in no major hurry to file this. For me however, panic began to set in and I was extremely worried. I began following up with the employer and the employer’s attorney to find out what was going on. They replied that they were working on it and would get back to me with any updates.

While I had been a devotee of Sai Baba all my life, I had never fully embraced devotion to Him or even spirituality for that matter. For some reason however, this time, something in me propelled me to pray to Baba for a resolution. I told my parents, who are also Sai Baba devotees, about this situation and they were also pretty worried that I would lose my immigration status. They too, steadfastly prayed to Baba to resolve this impending crisis. About a week before the 28th of August, I got a call from my employer’s lawyer, saying that they had filed part 1 of the process and were waiting for a response to that. He said that it could take upto 1 week and they would need this approval in order to file the extension. I had barely a week left for my visa and was further dejected and depressed and hope slowly began to fade. I prayed to Baba but doubted His ability to help me. I was deeply depressed and dejected and felt that I would have to leave the country on the 28th. However, I held out a small flame of hope and kept praying to Baba. Days passed and by the morning of the 26th (Thursday), I still had not heard from my employer.

Before I left for work that day, I prostrated in front of Baba’s photo in my house and said with tears flowing from my eyes, “Please help me, Baba. Have You forgotten me?” After that I got to work, I tried calling everyone, I possibly could, in my employer’s HR office, to figure out what was going on. No one answered my calls and I was in an extremely sad and dejected state. My parents, who were living in Africa at the time, were also in a rather sad state, as they felt helpless. As the last working day before the 28th was Friday, the 27th, my employer had less than 1 day to file the extension. At around 3.30pm on Thursday (Baba’s day), the 26th, I decided to make one last-ditch effort to reach Human Resources. I called the Director of Human Resources directly. The phone rung twice and she picked up. I introduced myself and told her for what I was calling about. She calmly told me that the lawyer had come in person to have the documents signed this morning and had already filed the extension via courier, this afternoon. I cannot express the relief and joy my family and I experienced. My immigration status and job were saved by Baba’s sheer divine intervention. While I always wondered why Baba put me through this severe test and anxiety? I today believe it was for a reason. My faith in Baba has strengthened greatly since that experience. And since then, I have slowly learnt to put all my serious issues, in Baba’s hands. So far, He has never let me down and continues to support and protect me even in the worst of times. I urge all Baba’s devotees to remember two of the Baba’s words, above all else: Shraddha (Faith) and Saburi (Patience). We slowly have to learn how to place our faith in Him and wait patiently as He masterfully pulls the wires of the Universe. Om Sai Ram, Om Sai Ram, Om Sai Ram!

May All Beings In This World Be Happy

Anonymous Sai Devotee from USA says: Happy Diwali to all the devotees. I am posting this few days after Diwali. I am swami’s devotee from very long time and shared few of my experiences here.

Here I am to share the latest. In my last post, I asked swami to bless us with second child. First month after the request, I had to undergo wisdom tooth extraction and had to take antibiotics. Swami waited until my tooth issue got resolved and blessed us the next month and confirmed my pregnancy. Most of the tooth issues, we have to go through x-rays and antibiotics, which is not good while pregnancy. Our Baba will take into account even these small things.

Swami’s presence is felt every moment. My manager who was against working from home, allowed me to work from home most of the times. My husband is taking care of me like a baby. My son is very co-operative. All this is not possible without You Swami. Whenever I feel any discomfort, I drink Swami’s Udi with water. All my doctor visits are good with His mercy. Couple of days back, I woke up hungry early in the morning. Just drank water but could not go back to sleep. I ate some breakfast and started to throw-up. I was not able to take even water. The nurse asked us to see the doctor as I threw-up almost 7 times in 5 hours. I was very worried about the baby and prayed our mercy Lord. The doctor gave medication and confirmed that the baby was fine. What a relief! I only prayed for the safety of the baby, but Swami gave me more. My manager called the same evening and announced salary increment. I am surprised, not the time for appraisal or bonus nor did I ask for one. Swami gave us more income to support the growing family. Some things don’t make sense at the moment, but time will educate us Swami’s plan. I promised Swami that I will post my experience as soon as I conceive. Ignorant me waited for doctor’s confirmation as I had miscarriage last year around the same time at 8 weeks.

Please forgive my ignorance Baba. Please take care of my family and bless us with a peaceful life. You fulfilled my wish, as I requested in my last post. Please bless my sister with baby soon. Please solve her health issues as well Swami. Please forgive me for not making food offering to temple on Diwali as I had promised. Please help me with normal delivery Swami. As You know we are looking for a good house in good school district. The housing market is too high. Please guide us to buy our dream home. Also fulfil our wish to visit holy Shirdi with all our family. My father-in-law met with accident and is not able to move his hands or legs. Please take care of him and cure him Swami. I know You are testing me, I can bear the physical pain Swami, but please don’t cause any pain to my loved ones. My sister is undergoing surgery, please be with her throughout and cure her soon. Please take care of her dental issues as well Swami, she is suffering a lot and not able to decide on her treatment. I know You are taking care of me when my husband is away, also taking care of his father, please take care of my son and my yet to be born baby Swami. To all the devotees, please believe in Swami, He will always be there in our good and bad times guiding us. Please have faith and patience. Swami, please take care of all Your devotees and fulfil all their wishes.

Baba’s Blessings Always At Difficult Time

My day begins with reading experiences from this site. Through Baba’s messages I think Baba is speaking to me and most of the time I get answers for all my questions and difficulties. I am really blessed to have come across this site. My faith in Baba is increasing day after day. Baba is always there whenever I need Him. I have experienced unlimited miracles since I came to know Baba. I am really blessed to have Baba in my life. Thank You once again for this wonderful site, it is increasing our Shraddha and Saburi with each passing day

I have many experiences in my life but here I will share only one miracle. I know Baba I am late, sorry for the delay in writing this experience. Hope You will forgive me for this Baba. Few months back my mom was suffering from depression. Suddenly one day she got depression attack. It was very severe. She was admitted to the hospital and was in ICU. There the doctors were doing all kinds of test MRI etc. I was feeling very helpless, as I live in US. The only thing I could do was praying and crying in front of Baba to save my mom. It was my birthday. I was so scared, did not want to hear any bad news on my birthday and was praying Baba to save my mom and the miracle happened and her health started improving and now she is fine by Baba’s blessings. In this hard time Baba was always with me. Thank You so much Baba for always answering my prayers. Thank You so much Baba for all Your blessings and for the blessings which are on our way. Baba please shower Your love and blessings on all Your devotees. Never lose hope, just have faith and patience. Sometimes it does take time but at the end He always answers our prayers. Baba will only give us what He thinks is best for us. Baba please take care of my mom and dad always. Always bless them with good health and happiness. Jai Sai Ram to all the devotees!

Miracle

Anonymous Sai Devotee from India says: I am a Sai devotee for past two years and all I can say that I am alive only because I have Sai Baba in my life as my guide and my every breath belongs to Sai Baba.

I had a very bad relationship which ended into divorce and it was then Sai Baba entered my life and He embraced me as a father. Recently my parents were looking for an alliance for me and they had sent my biodata to the other party for consideration and we got a reply that they follow their Guru and they will be sending the biodata to their Guru. If the Guru says yes then they would further consider it, otherwise they won’t. When I heard this a thought came to my mind as in Sai Satcharitra chapter 50 where Pundalikrao was given a coconut by Shri Vasudevananda for Sai Baba who was going to Shirdi and how Baba came to know about it as saints recognise the mark of other saints and it’s said by saints that we send messages day and night on the wireless and flaunt our achievement so I just thought whether Sai Baba will send a wireless message for me or not and I completely forgot about the situation. After a week the message came that their Guru said yes. I couldn’t believe actually this wireless miracle took place in my life. I don’t know anything about this guy. I just know that Sai Baba is my father and He will always choose a best son-in-law for Himself. I have left everything to Him. I know I will get the best of all due to Him and I would suggest all devotees that His love is unconditional for all and is equal for all, as parents cannot distribute love like a piece of bread among their children.

Sai Baba Listens To All

Anonymous Sai Devotee from India says: I am a great and staunch devotee of Lord Sai. I want to take this opportunity to let everyone know that continue your belief in Baba. He is omnipresent and listens to everyone.

Sorry for delay in sharing my experience! Couple of months back there was an outbreak of dengue in our city. We were all scared though we were taking every precaution. My husband got fever and he was in pain. Fever was coming and going. I was very scared and we went to meet the doctor. He said to wait for one more day and if the fever still doesn’t comes down then he asked us to go for the blood test. I prayed hard to Lord Sai to make him well soon and by grace of Him it was viral fever and not dengue. He got completely well, though weakness was there for two three days. I had promised to share my experience with all devotees and today I am privileged to do this. Thank You Baba for Your blessings. There have been several occasions when Baba has listened to my prayers. Last week my husband was travelling and I was very scared as it was risky while returning home by road, again Baba helped him by taking care of him. Thank You so much Baba. Mom’s Health Issue

Anonymous Sai Devotee from India says: Om Sairam. This is my first experience. First of all thank you Hetalji and team maintaining the divine blog. I am 26 year girl and have completed masters of technology. We don’t know from how many births Baba is there with us? But in this birth I got attracted to Baba when I was in class 7th. There are many experiences to share with but I will share them on some other day. As of now I will pen down today’s one as I told Baba regarding posting of it.

My mom was suffering from some leg issue from past 10/ 15 days, we showed her to local doctors but nothing happened. We got scared and took mom to other bigger hospital. I was scared what would doctor say so I gave mom with Udi mixed water. Before leaving to the hospital I also read Kasht Nivaran Mantra and chapter 11 of Sai Satcharitra. On the way chanting Baba’s name, we reached hospital. Mom and dad went inside the room, while I was waiting outside. Kept chanting Baba’s name and again started reading the Kasht Nivaran Mantra. Half-finished, mom and dad came and they told that it was nothing much and it would subside by tablets and after few days recheck up should be done. I was relieved and I thanked Baba and finished the latter part of Kasht Nivaran Mantra happily. Baba sab theek kardo Baba( make everything alright), You know everything about my problems and situation very well. Save me and my family from evil people, Baba.
