Sai Baba Protects My Family

Sai Devotee Divya from India says: Om Sai Ram! Sai Baba entered my life in 2000 when I was going through a very difficult situation in my life and since then He’s become my be all and end all. He has been with me through every ups and down and all that I am in my life today, I owe it to Him. Without Him and my parent’s blessings I wouldn’t have been writing this article today and how many ever thanks I give to them, it will never be enough. I have wanted to write for this blog for almost a month and a half now, however I could never sit down to pen it down and my sincere and honest apologies to my Baba for this. Like I mentioned above, Baba has been with me throughout in the last 17 years and there have been countless everyday miracles that He has performed. Whenever I have told Him a problem or cried on His shoulders, He has always resolved it, sometimes it may not have been the result or solution that I have wanted or was looking for but it has always turned out good for me.

What I wanted to write was the recent experience that I had about Baba’s grace where He pulled my family ashore from turbulent times. It was mid of March 2017 I was scheduled to go to Pune and from there go to Shirdi on my annual visit and all of a sudden, both my parents took ill and after a couple of doctor’s visit we realized that it was an attack of Herpes Zoster. For my dad, it was a 2nd reoccurrence and was not that painful but for my mother it was the first and the sores started from her left back went through her left underarm and till middle of her chest and she was battling with high fever and pain (this infection is a secondary form of chicken pox and attacks the nerves and for people over 65, the pain can be unbearable running into weeks or months). In the midst of this, within a couple of days, my dad was diagnosed with an enlarged prostate and was advised an emergency surgical procedure which the doctor said would involve 4 days of hospitalization. My mother’s infection was contagious especially for small children and elderly people so I and my brother told her that we will take care of dad and she just needs to rest at home.

My brother stays close by to our house and he has 2 small kids and my sister-in-law unfortunately couldn’t come over to our house for full time as kids could catch the infection. My mother said she could take care of herself and to just focus on dad and since it was only 4 days she would manage. While on hand I was happy that this happened before my scheduled trip, on the other hand I was also upset that I couldn’t go to Shirdi. But I consoled myself saying I was needed with my parents more at that point and Baba would call me to Shirdi soon. We admitted my father and the doctors performed the necessary preliminary tests to ensure his overall health parameters were ok so that the surgery could be scheduled.

Now my father has always been health conscious and has always consumed food or meat in limitation never going overboard. My dad has polio and has had multiple operations on his feet (in his teens) to ensure he can atleast put shoes and walk, he has also had several other operations ( later on in life) for hernia, knee fracture, ear holes etc. However he has been a strong person, never allowing his physical challenges to bow him down or prevent him from achieving what he wanted in life. He also believed that prevention is always better than cure and always done regular basic health checkups (since he is a BP patient and has had minor heart issues also).

Coming back to the present, the preliminary test results sprung a surprise on us, his serum sodium levels were very low and the doctors were surprised how my dad was functioning normally as usually people with low sodium have severe disorientation, cramping in the body and could have fainting spells. My father had only slight cramping from a few months, which he used to wonder why and then would blame it on his slow movements and age. Doctor informed us that luckily we could find out because he was admitted; otherwise it could have been serious. I really thanked Sai for this. Now my dad was catheterized to help him pass urine and he was told by his urologist that even after operation and he goes home, he may need to have the catheter for few weeks so that he heals and is able to pass urine normally. My father was very worried that since he walks now slowly with help of a walker, how would he able to manage with a catheter and a urine bag for a few weeks at home. We told him not to stress and that God will show a way and just now only to focus on getting through his operation.

Now the nephrologist who was monitoring father’s sodium levels told us that the operation couldn’t be done till sodium levels were up because else there would be complications post surgery. So they started him on Saline and additional sodium tablets to get his serum levels up. But days moved on but the reading was not reaching the normal range. On the 7th day of admission ( it was a Thursday) we were all very dejected, because the urologist said that since the sodium levels were not coming up, and they couldn’t proceed with the operation, so they said they were considering discharging my dad with the catheter, so that he could continue his medication at home and we could return after 2-3 weeks to evaluate the situation. We were all thinking how do we manage this, it was very stressful and even at home mother was battling her painful herpes all by herself. So I ran to nearby Sai Baba mandir which I usually frequent. Luckily for me when I reached, the morning Aarti was going on and I prayed fervently for Baba to help us and that somehow the sodium levels should go up and father should get discharged only after the operation. That evening the urologist told us that the sodium levels were slowly inching up and looking at dad’s condition it was better to wait and finish his operation before discharge.

I continued to pray and read Satcharitra everyday asking Baba to somehow show us the light. Finally on 11th day of admission, my father’s sodium levels came up and they went ahead with the operation and it was a success. However there was another complication immediately post the operation that my father was not getting bowel movements, leading to very bad constipation. All doctors’ best efforts couldn’t help him and the urologist didn’t want to discharge my father without this issue being resolved. Again it was Baba Who came to our rescue, a good gastroenterologist was recommended who suggested a different laxative which helped father of his situation and finally on the 16th day of admitting my father in the hospital, the urologist said they were ready to discharge my father, however they would try to remove the catheter I, if he was able to pass urine on his own, it was fine but else they will re-catheterize and discharge.

Baba showed His grace again and within 4 hours of removing catheter my father was able to pass urine on his own and the doctor said it was fantastic ( usually patients of his age, need to be catheterized for 2 -4 weeks after surgery) and maybe the 2 weeks catheterization before surgery ( and surgery was delayed) helped it. That’s when Sai’s miracle and what He had done dawned on us. 1) Because of the hospitalization, we came to know of dad’s low sodium levels and 2) because of the delay in operation; the catheterization phase finished in hospital itself and could go home normally.

Post coming home, we had another scare as within 1 week he developed double vision which worsened and his ophthalmologist said it was muscle weakness and we should do a CT scan just to eliminate anything serious. We were again worried but had also full faith in Baba that He will take care. By Sai’s grace the reports came normal and the doctor said that to ignore it and he had a feeling that this double vision would disappear in a few weeks. Exactly in the same way, my father’s double vision disappeared and the doctor said it could be because of a small clot which would have formed during surgery they had stopped his blood thinner medicines during surgery) which has resolved itself so now everything will be ok. We couldn’t thank Sai enough.

My mother in the meantime had been suffering from very bad nerve pain because of the herpes attack but Sai had looked after her also, giving her the strength to slowly recuperate. Overall both my parents’ health has improved and hopefully will keep getting better in the coming weeks by Sai’s grace. I therefore planned my Pune and Shirdi trip and just few days before the trip I found out lumps on my left side of neck which turned out to be enlarged lymph nodes. I got very worried as it could be serious and rushed to a oncologist who advised a ultrasound. I did the ultrasound on a Thursday, my Sai’s day and I was sure that He would make everything all right. The report showed no abnormality and doctor advised me to evaluate it after few weeks. So I have come to Pune now and scheduled for a Shirdi visit on 14th June. I want to go give my thanks to my Lord for looking after my parents and to pray to Him for my health. I am sure that He will take care of me as always and I won’t have any health issue. I would be every grateful , if you can publish my story so that devotees can read and know that Baba is there with us always, never does He let us down and He will not give us anything that we can’t handle and His grace will always shine on us. Sai’s Miracle

Sai was there with me all along the way reassuring me that He is going to be fine when the doctor couldn’t even diagnose what the issue was. I comforted myself thinking that for my Bhagawan to start blessing with His grace He needed a reason and that was the reason. I always wonder out of 7 billions of humans on this earth why had Baba decided to help me and be there for me always. Thanks Hetal ji for maintaining the blog so well and putting this platform up for people to share their experiences. I sincerely hope and pray that you get whatever you wish for.

Like I have said earlier Sai Baba has helped me so many number of times. I think I will have to sit next couple of days to explain it. One of the miracle I would like to share with you was our first Shirdi trip. The only thing that I can tell you here if you sincerely wish and pray to see Sai Baba in Shirdi please be assured that He will make it happen. The first time I went there, I could not stop crying that was how amazing the darshan was. We reached there for Madhyan Arathi and we were able to get Baba’s blessing for an hour and half standing right in front of Baba.

Now the miracle I am about to explain here is happened recently like I have said earlier we are living in the UK in a rented property and my husband’s business has been really slow since one year. I am sure by that Baba’s grace things are going to get better if not He will be there walking by our side holding our hand through our bad times, so I am ok.

Now coming back to the miracle; we owed our landlord back payments of two months and and we didn’t see any means to pay our rent for next few months. Every time I was panicking I checked on the Baba’s question answer website and Baba assured me that a stranger will help us. I was getting panicky and worried thinking what would happen if the land lord asked us to move (things have been so bad even our credit rating is effected) it’s difficult to get a new property to rent but surprisingly last Thursday our landlord was ok to wait which was very, very unusual here in this country. (So the landlord was the stranger) So have faith in our beloved Baba, hang in there, He will see to it that He find a solution for our problem or He will give us the strength to carry on. My only prayer now that He reminds me every day to chant His name throughout the day. So I am strong enough to carry on.

Udi Miracles

One day night I felt some pain and tensed. I couldn’t sleep. I prayed to Sai Baba applied Udi on my forehead and was chanting Sai Baba’s name continuously. I promised to Sai Maa if pain reduces and get sleep I will post my experience on Sai devotees’ page. After sometime I slept comfortably. So now I am sharing this with you all.

Baba cured my mom’s health problems. I strongly believe it was Baba who treated my mom, me and all my family member’s health problems. No matter how small the issue is, Baba will definitely protect His children.

I am very sorry Baba to be late for this post. Baba we surrender to Your holy feet. Please bless me, my family and everyone with good health, wealth and prosperity. Baba, please increase my faith towards You. Thank You very much. I wish I must be Your devotee in each and every life I have and I want You to be with me in each and every part of my life. Om Sairam. One Of My Wish Got Fulfilled

I believe in Baba like other Gods only. But one of the tragedic incident (I cannot tell it now) happened in my life, because of that I got completely shuttered. I tried to commit for suicide sometimes. At that time I came to know about Sai Baba miracles through my friend and from that day onwards I keep on checking on Internet for Sai Baba miracles. Then I saw this site and I felt very happy when I read devotees’ experiences on this blog. It gives positive thoughts to me. Sai Baba is the only one Who helped me a lot to come out of my tragic situation. I love Him so much now. He is my Guru, my Father and my Mother.

The main reason to write this post is that one of my wish is fulfilled today. That is some person had to give huge amount to us. But he was not giving. I promised to Baba if he gave then I shall come to Shirdi with my family. Baba fulfilled that wish. I am so happy for that. We are planning to go to Shirdi on August 10th. As I am doing Sai Nava Guruwar vrat, after that I want to go to Shirdi for the first time.

I have another big wish, that’s why I am doing Sai Nava Guruwar vrat. I know and I completely have faith on Sai Baba that He will definitely fulfil my wish. I read Sai Satcharitra once. I want to do again Sai Satcharitra parayan. Sai Baba definitely fulfils His devotees’ wishes. I love You Sai Baba. If Sai Baba fulfils my big wish I’ll definitely share with you friends. Just pray Baba with Shraddha (faith) and Saburi (patience ). He will definitely fulfil your wish even how much big it is. Sorry for long story. Baba’s Experience

Anonymous Sai Devotee from India says: I am a working woman having 2 daughters. All my life I have been in one or the other trouble. Before and after marriage I faced lots of problems. I use to go to Sai Baba temple since 1999. But I never felt for Baba and prayed other God. For the past 8 months I am a devotee of Baba. My friend told me to pray to Baba.

I had lots of money problems. I had to take health check up for some reason and I am a cancer survivor. If the lady checked me and gave report then I would not get money. The before night I didn’t sleep. Whole night I was praying Baba. Please help me Baba. Morning I went for the test. I told the lady my situation, she hesitated then she asked her boss. He said no, she told me. Next minute again boss called her and asked her if I was healthy she said yes. He said ok and did not reveal. I was shocked I could not believe. This miracle I cannot forget, I would like to share something special. My Friend told me this. I get up every morning 3 o’clock in morning and pray sitting on bed, I pray Baba and tell Baba my problems and sleep off. Please try this it works Baba listens to us. This is the time you talk to God Baba.

Sai Extended Our Insurance Coverage

Anonymous Sai Devotee from USA says: I have been an ardent Sai Devotee since my college days in Delhi where we would visit the beautiful temple at Lodhi Road. Thanks to the team here that makes available miraculous stories of our beloved Sai’s endless leelas.

I currently have insurance needs that costs about $7500 a month here in the US. 2 days back, I got the news that this would cease as of the end of this month and that made me very worried. I prayed to Sai and asked Him to help us in this matter as it made me very anxious. In the meantime, I prepared all the documentation to request for an extension, which seemed impossible based on the email I had received. But today I had the meeting and by His Divine grace I was able to convince the supervisor for this case for an extension and they agreed for another few months and that is a big relief for me.
