How Sai Baba Came Into My Life

Sai Baba came into my life in the year 2012. I got a Sai Baba idol from one of my friends who had visited Shirdi and I also had purchased one photograph of Sai Baba and worshipped Him. But I didn’t know much about Baba. I heard about Baba from my friend who had visited Sai temple very frequently. But when I was doing my job that time there was no Sai temple near to that place. That time I was staying in my office Hostel and when my new roommate came to my room she was also a Sai devotee and she placed a Sai Baba idol at our room worship place. After seeing Baba’s idol I felt very happy. So our worship place was embellished with a Sai Baba idol and a Photo.

I knew from my friend that Sai Baba’s Shej Arati would telecast live in Prathana channel from one Sai temple in Bhubaneswar. So, I started watching it. Whenever I had gone to Bhubaneswar I visited Sai temple, after having darshan of Sai Baba I used to be filled with positive energy. Wherever I see Baba in any form it gives me immense pleasure.

One day I decided to perform Sai Baba’s “Nav Guruvar Vrat” and I started doing it. In between the Thursday vrat (fast) my roommate saw a dream at 4 am and she woke up from sleep. She woke me up and suddenly started narrating about her dream. First I was unwilling to listen to her but when she was telling me that Sai Baba came in her dream, I was just aroused and listened to her carefully. She said that Baba stood near to her with a white cloth and said in your room I have been worshiped. Then she exactly couldn’t recall her dream but she suddenly was saying, “Didi (Means elder Sister) you will visit Lingaraj Temple (Lord Shiva Temple at Bhubaneswar) in the coming Shivaratri.” That moment I couldn’t co-relate her dream. But I said her ok and that we would talk about it later and asked her to continue her sleep then. Then we both slept. But from that day she was continuously telling me that Didi you must visit Lingaraj Temple on Shivaratri.

I was pondering why Baba said about visiting Shiva temple and what was the meaning of it. So, one day I decided to visit Lingaraj Temple in Shivaratri. As Lingaraj Temple is an ancient Lord Shiva temple, so on the occasion of Shivaratri there is a huge rush and the queue starts before one kilometre from the temple. But anyway I woke up early in the morning on Shivaratri, visited Sai temple and told Sai Baba, “Baba I am alone visiting that temple and I have heard about the crowd on this day in that temple, Baba please manage everything.”

Then I boarded an auto rickshaw and reached there and saw a huge crowd. Then I stood in the queue, the queue continued for three and half hours but in between whenever I felt energy less by standing for long hours in the queue then suddenly I saw Sai Baba’s Photo on somebody’s door or Baba’s photo inside the shops. Somewhere I saw Baba’s idol in the toy vendor shops sitting on the two sides of the road. So in this way the queue passed and I entered the main entrance of the temple. So I thanked Baba and said to myself that Baba You are with me in the whole queue as I saw You in different places while passing the queue but Baba I will not see You inside the temple, as it is a Lord Shiva temple but once I come out from the temple I will again see You.

After just passing little distance from the Lingaraj Temple main entrance someone just told that the main temple where Lord Lingaraj placed was closed for some hours for devotees (for performing some rituals of Lord Shiva). I constantly prayed to Baba to have darshan of Lord Lingaraj. After half an hour the temple was so crowded that one couldn’t even place his or her feet. But in that crowd someone pushed me forward and another man pushed me to the corner of the main temple, but I managed myself with the grace of Sai Baba and had a nice Darsan of Lord Lngaraj. There were so many small temples inside the campus. After returning from the main temple someone called me to have darshan of Nandi temple where everyone whispered their wish in the ear of Nandi (Bull in front of Lord Shiva). Then I whispered my wish, someone told me that you should whisper in the left ear of Nandi. So when I took a turn I was just overwhelmed to see a huge photo of Sai Baba on the wall of that temple and my eyes were filled with tears as I had said to Baba that I may not see Him inside the temple as it was a Shiva Temple. He showed me His presence that He is everywhere with me. That moment I cannot express in words.

While coming out from that temple, I just started walking towards the exit door but one lady called me and offered me Curd Sarbat. As I had not taken water and food since morning I was feeling severely thirsty, so I eagerly took that Sarbat and I felt as Baba had offered me that. In this way I feel Sai Baba’s presence in each and every step of my life. I have many more experiences with Baba, I will share them next time. Om Sairam! Marriage Made Possible By Baba’s Grace

Anonymous Shirdi Sai Devotee from India says: I am a Sai devotee from India. Three of my previous experiences have been published on this website. I have always finished my previous experiences with one wish – to get married to my boyfriend. Since we belong to different states and different castes, his parents were not agreeing. I believed that this was a herculean task which no one but Baba could accomplish. This is an account of how my wishes were fulfilled.

My boyfriend and I faced some hurdles during our relationship for which I started doing 9 Guruvar vrat and reading Sai Satcharitra Katha in one week. We visited Sai temple locally every Thursday. Despite this, his parents did not show any sign of accepting me. They continued to look for other prospects for him.

After three years, I had almost given up all hope as it did not seem to me like my boyfriend’s family would agree to our marriage. Just as I was about to give up, a miracle happened. On the day of Shivratri, 2018, my boyfriend’s father said that my boyfriend would be getting married to me only. This was a miracle possible by Baba alone. To this day we do not know what prompted this sudden change of mind as his father was completely against accepting me and both of us had almost given up. It was really the best surprise of my life. Baba engineered things in such a way that everything for the marriage fell in place effortlessly. After his parents agreed, my parents showed some signs of resistance but it quickly got resolved. We got married in 2019. If this is not the grace of Baba, I don’t know what else it is.

After marriage, if any of you come to my house and see me with my in-laws, none of you will be able to even imagine that they said ‘No’ to me initially. My in-laws treat me like a princess and shower their love on me. They go out of their way to accommodate my shortcomings. I did not have any household skills when I got married, I could not even cook. Till date I have never heard a single word of reproach from them. This is all due to the blessings of Baba.

I am writing this to give a ray of hope to couples who may be in the same situation as I was. Though it may feel like all hope is lost, the miracles of Baba are unfathomable. Keep praying to Him and He will make the impossible possible in the snap of a finger.

Dear Baba, please continue to bless my education as You did in my personal life. My education has been stuck for a long time and this state of uncertainty is really driving me crazy. Another miracle would be child’s play for You. Please bless me to get my degree smoothly as it has already been too long. We have put a lot of things on hold due to my education. Many family members are under stress and pressure due to this state. Please Deva bless me and anyone else who is reading this and fulfil all our desires by Your grace!

Baba Heard My Prayer

From the last few times I have been suffering a lot with one or the other problems in my life and I was too disturbed. I usually don’t share my problems with anyone except Baba. I only used to sit, cry, ask and tell my problems to Him. As always, when I asked questions through Q and A site He used to give replies which helped me feel relieved. I am posting this experience on Oct 15th which is Baba’s Mahasamadhi day.

I was very happy to see that it’s falling on Thursday. I wanted to visit Sai Mandir nearby. I was very happy to see that I got to see the message from the temple group that they were allowing devotees from 8.15 to 9 pm only a few at a time inside.

I felt very happy as Baba heard my wish to visit Him. We could stay inside for a longer time till Aarti was over as there were hardly few devotees. Usually we get a turn to do Aarti to Baba but considering the pandemic I was feeling sad that I won’t get to do Aarti to Baba. When I was praying Baba in the temple, I told our Sai that if You have heard my prayers please show me a sign by allowing me to do Aarti. Wonders of wonders, immediately a person came and told me that I could do Aarti as not many people were there. My joy had no boundaries when I was doing Aarti to Baba. I was able to submit my prayers in Sai Mandir, got a chance to do Aarti, got Udi prasadam too. What else a Sai devotee needs when in tough time and asks Baba to shower His blessing and help to pass through this phase.

We might have done many things knowingly or unknowingly which would have hurt or caused many problems to many people. We realise the mistakes only when we are in trouble and ask God why I am suffering like this? What I have done to whom? Without doing any harm, we will not suffer. Only way to reduce our suffering is to pray and go in the holy feet Baba seeking His blessings to pass through and have enough strength to bear the sufferings. He will definitely help. We can feel His presence but we need to have patience to see His leelas and trust Him completely.

Through this forum I am asking our Baba to forgive everyone who has done mistakes knowingly or unknowingly. Please protect us with Your blessing Baba. Om Sairam Om Sairam Om Sairam!

Baba’s Blessing

Recently by Baba’s blessing I have found my lost USB drive that I have lost. It was a miraculous experience for me. Thank You so much Baba. Please shower Your blessing to us always.

My mom had her blood test yesterday. Please bless my mom that her report should be normal. Nothing wrong should go with her. Bless her that she lives a healthy and happy life. Her Arthritis pain is increasing day by day and having others types of health issues. Please Baba bless my mom that she feels better. I have already surrendered to Your feet for my mom’s good health. Sai Appa’s Miracle On My Health

Two days before, at 10:30 pm, I was suffering from stomach ache. I was even unable to bend up and down due to the gastric problem. Also I was unable to feed my 40 days old baby. My mom prepared ginger tea. Before taking tea, I prayed Baba to get rid of this pain as my newborn was waiting for her feed. It was around 12, I was completely relieved from the pain. It was all Sai Appa’s miracle. As prayed I posted in blog and thank You so much Hetalji and team for Your wonderful effort. Thousands of Pranams at the lotus feet of Sai Appa and I love You being with me in all my obstacles and hurdles in my life.

Sai’s Help

Anonymous Shirdi Sai Devotee from India says: There was no water as there was some technical problem with the machine and hence water did not get stored in the tank. When I went to bathe there was no water. It was important for me to take a bath. Then my son said that little water was coming into his bathroom. So hurriedly I started taking a bath there. There the pressure was low and I was doubtful if it would suffice. Then I prayed to Baba for help and promised to post here. With Baba’s grace water sufficed not only me but also my son and husband. After that there was no water. I was happy that I was done with the bath atleast and now waiting for water to arrive. Thank You Baba. Jai Sairam.
