Last month we celebrated the blog’s 10th anniversary and various announcements were made. A few of them were still in the pipeline and we contemplated them for their execution. About nine months ago, with the 10th-anniversary celebrations, my team and I were discussing developing an app for the blog. However, we could not proceed with it owing to certain technical and location challenges. Things were getting complicated instead of being sorted.

I had then quit this idea as I felt Sai Baba didn’t want this idea to be executed and the same was proved within two months. He had different plans which I had no thought of. It would be my pleasure to share with you all what happened and how Baba rolled out the events, but this opportunity was reserved by Baba for our Whatsapp Group Co-ordinator Sai Sister Pooja Pillay. She has penned down on this subject. Read between her lines below how things were shaped.

In December 2017, Sai Baba gave inspiration to His small devotee to pick up the phone and call His Shyama Hetal Patil. This devotee did not know what He had planned for her and Hetal Di. Well if Baba commands you, do it. If He inspires, you get inspired. If He wishes, your world turns upside down.

Pooja Pillay called Hetal Patil without knowing what she was talking about. Completely unknown, never seen each other. Yes, but I did call Hetal Di and we spoke for more than three hours at a stretch. Can you believe that! Who else but Baba can make this happen?

The reason why He connected us was to venture into Social Media and reach the youth of this world and spread His glory far and wide. Make this Yug, “Sai Yug”.

I was part of a prayer group when I was going through a terrible phase and that group gave me the strength to face my life. When I read the blog I always wondered why do they not have a WhatsApp group. It’s important to have a group for the blog and share all the wonderful experiences on it daily so that the devotees start their day with Sai Bliss.

Baba put words in her mind and heart and yes, the official Whatsapp group of SaiYug Network was formed on 3rd Jan 2018. We were content to run it small and slowly and gradually increase the devotee base.

Eventually, we noticed devotees posting forwards, images, etc and we were not happy sharing our experiences as the purpose of the group was diluted. But Baba had something else planned. He inspired us to have a structure in place and have groups belonging to various countries.

With Sai Baba’s blessings, we introduce the official groups of SaiYug Network country-wise. These are not your groups where you forward pictures and messages. These groups are to share His Leelas and miracles that are posted on the blog. These are to share the official communication of the blog. Please join the groups as per your country ONLY. This is also an inspiration from Baba to have His devotees connect and mingle with devotees from the same countries. You never know who will help you in your life and when!

If you feel like posting forwards and pictures every day this is not the group for you. These groups will give you a chance to get closer to Baba by reading His stories and being in a Sai Bliss and start and end your day by thinking of Him. Before we end this post here is something that Baba says,

If a man utters My name with love, I shall fulfill all his wishes, increase his devotion. And if he sings earnestly My life and My deeds, him I shall beset in front and back and on all sides. Those devotees, who are attached to Me, heart and soul, will naturally feel happiness, when they hear these stories. Believe Me that, if anybody sings My Leelas, I will give him infinite joy and ever-lasting contentment. It is My special characteristic to free any person, who surrenders completely to Me, and who worships Me faithfully, and who remembers Me, and meditates on Me constantly. How can they be conscious of wordly objects and sensations, who utter My name, who worship Me, who think of My stories and My life, and who thus, always remember Me! I shall draw out My devotees from the jaws of death. If My stories are listened to, all the diseases will be got rid of. So, hear My stories with respect, and think and meditate on them, assimilate them.
