Shirdi Sai Ram, A Strong Guide In My Academics

We’re a religious family and we believe that everything happening in our life is a miracle by the Lord Himself. I am a strong Sai Baba’s devotee and consider my life and parents and sister as a great blessing of Shirdi Maharaj, Sairam, Who is also our guide during periods of depression. I have written my entrance exams for pursuing an MBA in prestigious colleges in our country.

I would like to state here that everything in this world happens only through the grace of Shirdi Maharaj Saiji and that even after so many attempts I could not submit my experiences earlier. Only after getting Shirdi Saiji’s permission after so long, that I’m able to share some of my experiences here. Only when He desires, anything can happen. My family’s experiences with Shirdi Sairam are so much a part of our life as the Sun of the day. I’ll enlist some of them here: 1) I gave my XII board exams in a school, and wonders, the school was right next to the biggest Shri Sai Baba’s temple in our city. That Shri Saiji had decided to conduct the most important exam of my life near His place was a blessing in itself for the exams. And, no wonder, I did very well in the exams and became a Stream topper. It was all because of Shri Sairam, Who stayed next to me during all the course examinations. In fact, when I started for the first exam, from my home after having got down from my apartment and was just about to cross the road to hail an auto, the Tonga of Sairam which goes around the city with His idol and plays His Bhajans, just stood in front of me. This was Sri Saiji Himself coming to bless me before the exam. And the results explain His miracles.

2)Last year, when I was in the final year of my college, I wrote all the entrance exams for pursuing MBA in one of the prestigious B Schools in the country. But, unfortunately, despite getting a decent score, I couldn’t get admission anywhere. I was very upset, because I skipped placements to do this course and now I had to waste a year of my life. But, we all believed that Shirdi Saiji has delayed the admission for some good unknown reason and decided to take this side and started the preparation for the competitive exams afresh. I just finished some of the exams, despite all the cyclone and untimely death of our state’s CM, without any hindrance, only by the grace of Shirdi Saiji. If not for Him, I cannot even imagine what my plight would have been. He made sure that I took all the exams without any difficulties and that’s how I narrowly escaped so many hindrances that I just stated. More importantly, the result for IIFT, Delhi, a top college for MBA, was announced and, with the grace of Shirdi Saiji I made it to the interview. It was only because of Him that I could prepare again this year without feeling any depression. And, it’s only through His grace, that I could go through the subsequent rounds of admission procedure.

I pray to Him to help undergo this important phase by staying with me and my family. I also wish and pray to Shirdi Saiji to help us buy the flat that we’re trying hard to get. I am sure, that such a purchase would be possible only through His grace. I also pray to Him help my sister study well and score excellent percentage in her board exams. It’s also my prayer to Him that my father should get a promotion in his career and my mother’s talent should be recognized. I am reading Shri Sai Satcharithra now in English and I recommend all of you to read it. It amazed me with Shri Saiji’s Leelas and His Teachings with so many of His stories. It has given me peace and knowledge. By submitting my experiences here, I got an opportunity to thank His Holiness, Shirdi Saiji and also to echo the Glories and Miracles of Shirdi Saiji. Thanks to Hetalji and team for this wonderful site, devoted to His service, the most noble gesture. I also would like to state that it’s not I, who is writing, but the Great Lord Shirdi Saiji, who is singing His own praises through me. I’m just His instrument here. Prostrate at His Lotus feet and place the problems in your head there. Place utmost confidence and trust in Him and your problems and difficulties will definitely be addressed and solved. With His blessings, nothing but happiness will prevail in your lives. All Hail Shirdi Maharaj Sairam!

Baba’s Priceless Gift, My Daughter

Thank you Hetalji for offering this beautiful platform for sharing the wonderful leelas of Baba. I would like to share my personal experience of how I conceived which is nothing but a sort of a miracle resonating Baba’s golden words that He is forever willing to guide and fulfil His devotees’ wishes and needs even after leaving His earthly existence. This is a long experience where I would like to detail every nuance to increase the faith in our Babaji for people like me who face difficulties conceiving.

I am a devotee of Shirdi Sai for the last ten years and I owe everything good that has happened to me in the last decade to my Babaji. The year 2015 was a year full of disappointments for me and my husband, since we got to know that I had difficulty in conceiving naturally. This news came as a jolt to us and we were lost as to how to deal with it. We live in the US and fertility treatments were not covered by insurance in the state we reside and everything had to be paid out of pocket by us. We were at sixes and sevens as to how to go about the various fertility treatments without coverage, to top it all we were getting treated by a doctor who was completely callous and all my IUI treatments failed with her. We were left with no other option but IVF which would be taking a toll on us physically, emotionally and financially. We had encountered consecutive failures in the treatments to the point that we were unwilling to continue with the final step of IVF in the same hospital.

At this juncture, a friend of ours, who is also a great devotee of Baba suggested another doctor for treatment. This doctor I believe was truly a God sent and I started believing that Baba Himself was treating me through her (a major psychological boost for me was that the doctor was of Indian origin and she was a Maratha, I took this as a sign from my beloved Baba). The doctor was an epitome of courtesy and empathized with us, since she herself had her baby through the IVF procedure. This happened in the end of 2015 and I strongly believed that 2016 was going to be a blessing of Baba and a year of success.

Amidst all this I got introduced to Siddha Mangala Stotram and Sripada Vallabha. I started religiously chanting it everyday; it gave me a sense of peace and was my pillar of strength. We got to know that medicines were going to cost about 2000 $ but there was a compassionate care program which if we qualified would reduce the amount by 70% so we were asked to write a letter to them stating our difficulties. The day I sent in the request for this program was the day I started chanting the Siddha Mangala Stotram. Needless to say by the immense grace of Sripada and Baba we qualified for the program and our medicines cost reduced considerably.

The next miracle was on the day of my egg retrieval when we had a major setback saying that despite the great status of my health only three eggs could be retrieved and the chances of IVF being a success was greatly reduced. We were devastated, my husband and I didn’t know what to do as this was not what we expected. We were asked to wait for three days to know if those eggs resulted in healthy embryos. We resorted to none but our Babaji’s feet. I started reading the book Sai Baba is Still Alive which is another elixir for all Sai devotees. We finally got a call saying that only one made it through. We were by then coming to terms that whatever happens is because of Baba’s will and we will take it in the stride. The day of transfer we went to the temple. On the way to the clinic I saw this truck with the letters SAI (it is actually a truck Saia, but only the first three letters were visible and last hidden to me), what more could I ask of? I took it as Baba communicating with me saying that I am going to be there with you and everything is going to turn out great. The transfer happened and I learnt that I was pregnant on the 15th day after the transfer happened. We are now blessed with a beautiful baby girl who I strongly believe is Babaji’s gift to us. So dear devotees, please believe in Babaji come what may with a lot of fervour and trust Him completely then all that you encounter will be a grand success. Om Sairam !

Baba’s Miracles In My Life

Thanks to Hetalji and her team for maintaining such an awesome platform which boosts our confidence and faith in Baba. I have experienced many miracles in life all thanks to Baba. Today I would wish to write down my experience about marriage and having a child. I have written earlier in this blog about my struggles for getting married.

My marriage got delayed due to many reasons like horoscope and guys not liking me or me not liking the guys. In the year 2014 Baba answered all my prayers for marriage. At the age of 30, Baba found my soul mate for me. Earlier I would cry and ask Baba why this delay in my wedding since my parents were going through hell due to pressure of society more than any other reason. Baba gave me as husband who is more than what I could ever ask for since he is just an amazing guy. After marriage in 2015, I conceived with the blessings of Baba but I had many complications in pregnancy. In the start of my pregnancy I went to a doctor without much exploring if she is good or not and even before we could be happy for the news she said that my pregnancy might not go through and I might need an abortion.

It was very shattering but deep down had faith in Baba since that hospital I went to had a big poster of Baba. Then don’t know how it happened but me and my husband decided to change the doctor and through one of our relative’s suggestion we started visiting an amazing doctor who said she will get me safe through the pregnancy. Few months passed by and I did have some major complications like blood clot inside but my doctor was very experienced and she was always positive. By the end of my pregnancy I had to shift to my home town that is Bangalore from Hyderabad since my parents were finding it tough to stay with me for long. I was again in tension as to which doctor to visit and how they would be? So I happened to ask my doctor in Hyderabad and she suggested a few names. So once home I started visiting one of the doctors suggested by her and it went fine. Towards last month I wished to shift to some doctor close by since the one I was visiting was very far off for me and as always asked our Baba to guide me and through His blessings again through some acquaintances came across an amazing doctor who took me safely through the end of my pregnancy and I gave birth to a boy. I had many complications even at end but always had strong faith in our Baba and He never left me. I also happened to contact Amitji of Shibpur Sai Baba temple to place my prayers at Baba’s feet and even those blessings helped me.

After my kid was born he had some small problems related to his health which was upsetting and I was very angry with Baba since I was ready to face anything myself but couldn’t see my kid in pain. We had to get many scans for him and he was crying badly for those and it was very upsetting. After my son turned 1 year, old don’t know what miracle Baba did? His problems were gone. I started giving my son Udi daily so not sure if that did the miracle or our prayers and now my son is a healthy boy only with very small issue but I am sure Baba will solve that too soon without any major surgery. All I wish to say is don’t lose faith since it might look like Baba is not with us but those are only testing times. Have strong faith and lots of patience and your wishes are sure to be fulfilled by our Baba now and ever. Always remember Him and never forget Him. Om Sai Ram.

Baba Saved Me By Fulfilling My Wish In The First Week

Anonymous Sai Devotee from India says: I am a student abroad but my family is in India. I was about to get married in two weeks and I wanted it to stop because of several reasons. My parents are very supportive of my decisions but I didn’t have the strength to break my engagement. I really liked the boy I was supposed to marry. I was in love with him after two months after we agreed to marry. Initially he was very supportive and agreed to my thoughts and opinions. As the time was passing, he expressed several times that he didn’t like that I was thinking in a modern way. He said he didn’t agree that men and women should be treated equally in marriages and he also said that he didn’t like me being a feminist. His family kept increasing their demands of the marriage and my parents were running out of money. I was upset and told him that my parents were suffering financially. He started yelling at me and he even had a problem with the saree I picked for the wedding day. He used to apologize after each fight. He again used to pick a fight over small things. This kept repeating and my feelings and heart died for him. He started yelling and fighting after the engagement and there was hardly any time for the wedding.

Our family invited everybody and made all the arrangements. My friends and cousins had all booked their tickets and all the arrangements were made. I told my dad about the fights but I couldn’t express certain things properly. So he wanted me to go ahead with the wedding because it was close to two weeks. I went into depression. I lost my hunger and I couldn’t sleep. Even if I ate anything, I would vomit. I was crying all the time and I was losing faith in life. Marrying this person felt like entering a black hole. I also found out that he used to tell his family all the details of our conversations. He also put his family on our phone calls and I didn’t know that they were secretly listening. He discussed all our private conversations with everybody. I was hurt and I couldn’t convince my father to cancel the wedding. I then remembered my friend mentioning divya puja. She always got what she wished for. I then searched online for this, to do it and Baba was my only hope. I couldn’t make any prasadam for Baba and I couldn’t even offer flowers to Him. I apologized to Him and followed the procedure of puja. I requested Baba to take care of my family and give me the strength to fight this problem. Two days after I started the divya puja, my sister and friends came to my support and I called my father and explained everything. I had exams and he said he’ll wait till I finish them. Soon after the exams were over, I went home and I explained all the incidents to my father and my uncle. My entire family supported me and said that they will never let me marry this person. It was five days before the wedding and still everybody supported me and called off the wedding. We were sad that I wanted to get married and it didn’t work but we were happy that we cancelled it because the boy’s family was not good for my future. I got my results and got excellent marks and now I’m ready to face the future with confidence.

Sai Baba My Saviour

Anonymous Sai Devotee from India says: I am a small devotee of Sai Baba and this is my fourth post in this forum. Our Deva is miraculous, His leelas are unfathomable. We suffer for our karmas and hold Him responsible and fight and get angry with Him. Little does our heart knows that we are just repaying our karma. I would like to post a recent happening.

I had recently travelled to onsite and was working for a private bank. Since I had recently joined, they were yet to give me a permanent id and I was using the daily pass, which had to be returned while we come out of the office for the day. That day as usual I came from office to home. This is a kind of long journey where I would have to walk from office to train station. Board a train and walk back home. That day as usual I reached home and I found my mobile to be missing. I was very worried. I remembered taking my mobile to the office restroom before leaving for the day. But I was not too sure where I would have left it. Since the journey from office to home consists of lot of walking and train I was not very sure where I would have missed it. I was scared to the core. I was alone in new country without a mobile. I was dumbfounded for sometime.

Then I prayed to Deva to save me. If not I would be in serious trouble. As usual our loving Deva came to my rescue. Something told me that I would have left the mobile at office. But to go to office and check there I would need pass and mine I had returned it while coming. The securities were also not very friendly persons in the office. So going inside the office after office hours was next to impossible. Also since its new office I didn’t know any women staff in my building whom I can contact and ask them to check in the restroom. After an hour my roommate came. She also works in the bank but in a different building. She was suffering from fever and it was not advisable for her to go again and check in office. But somehow due to Deva’s blessings she agreed to go to office with me and check in the restroom. We reached office. I was worried if someone might have cleaned the restroom or someone might have taken it. We tried calling and the call was going. So taking Deva’s name I reached office with her. She went inside to check and I was waiting at the reception and went on reciting the mantra ” Om Shirdivasaya Vidmahae Satchithanandayithimahi Thanno Sai Prasodayath” And she came out with my mobile, My happiness knew no bound. If not my situation would have been really bad.

God saves us even during our bad times when we resort to Him. This might be a small incident to others but for a girl who is in a different country with no one to help for the first time, it was a terrifying situation. I promised Deva that if I got my phone I would post my experience and so here goes my promise. Om Sai Shree Sai Jai Jai Sai.

Baba Saved Us From Critical Situation

I have suffered a lot in my life, lost father in 12th std after that only struggles were there in our life. My mom worked hard and brought us up. I got married to a nice soul, our marriage is a love marriage. His family was against our marriage. Before my marriage my mom expired, suffered lot in relative’s house, got married in 2014 and still had no child. Baba came into our life in 2015 like my mom and my husband got promotion. We had no plan but bought a flat without any support. It was only because of Baba. October month we were in bad money problem, no body helped us. I prayed Baba a lot to help us. My husband’s brother gave us and helped us to overcome the situation. Only Baba made Him to give us money. Thank You Sai maa , if there is any mistake please forgive me. Jai Sairam.
