A Couple of Sai Baba Experiences – Part 164

I have many experiences in my life where Sai Baba has blessed me and I am so confident through these experiences that He protects me and I have nothing to worry about. Hetal Ji, thank you for this wonderful blog. Please do not show my details. I had promised Sai Baba that when my troubles end, I shall post my experience on this blog.

My husband and I got married in December 2011. Before that we both lived in different states of USA. So it was our plan to come to one city before we get married. Since my husband lived in a less economically stable state, he decided to move to my city and state. Hence he started looking for jobs in my city and state. It was hard for him to move and he was very hesitant at times. His boss somehow got to know about this and did not like it and let him go from the job. This happened like 3 months before the wedding. If he did not find a job in 1 month he would have to come back to India and this would have caused a lot of problems for us. So when this bad time came upon us, I was broken with all the tension and worried about his stay, our marriage and everything.

I use to visit the Sai temple near my house every day. My husband use to get calls, but because of his visa status nothing worked out. Then I decided, I will read the Sai Satcharitra and hope and pray Sai Baba will help us and protect us. I finished reading the book in 7 days and my husband got a call from a company in my state but different city. The interview and all went well and finally after a few weeks they offered him a position. This was like 2 weeks before the wedding. Everything fell in place with Sai Baba’s blessing. I moved there after the wedding and the city he got a job is close to my brother’s university. He is coming to the USA for his further education. I am much happier in this new city then my old one.

I had prayed to Sai Baba to help him find a job in my city where my company is. But Sai gave me something better. From this experience I know Sai Baba doesn’t give us what we ask for but what we deserve because most of the times, we deserve more that what we ask for.

Countless Blessings of Sai Baba

Sai Brother Misra Ji from USA says: Kindly do not publish my name and email address here. The focus of this experience is not me, but Sai Baba and only Sai Baba. Thanks a lot for providing this platform for sharing experiences with Sainath. After reading so many devotees sharing their experiences, I want to contribute my past and present experiences here as well.

My first experience of Sai Baba came through my Mother. No one in my family prayed to Sai Baba in particular and we had some fleeting knowledge about Him. One night my Mother dreamt of Sai Baba at a railway station. He was calling her and when she turned back, she saw Him. He blessed her and then He turned and walked away in the crowd. My Mother was stunned and discussed this with all of us. As I was child, I was impressed by her dream, but I did not make much out of it. However we did place a picture of Sai Baba in our home Puja room from then onwards. As I went to college and started working on my interest and attraction towards Sai Baba kept increasing. As I look back now, there were crucial moments in my life, when Sai Baba made totally unlikely things happen.

• Experience 1:

  I was working in a number of countries, but I did not wish to settle in any of them. Members of my family were already in the USA and I wanted to come here. However I wanted to keep my seniority and come at an appropriate level with a commensurate salary. This was really unlikely as I had no experience of the North America business. However I took a chance and wrote to my global CEO asking for a transfer to the USA. The global CEO did not know me at all, but he took full interest in my application and asked the CEOs of USA and the country, I was working in, to make the move possible. Within 8 months of the request, I was in the USA at a management level position. This is all because of Sai Baba.

• Experience 2:

  After a couple of years in the USA, things started getting difficult as the recession was starting and businesses were laying off employees. We had just bought a house and were wondering what would happen if I lose my job. I was still on my employment visa, although the company has applied for my Green Card a few months back. I was very tense and thought that we would have to sell the house at a loss and pack our bags soon. In the meanwhile the company informed me that they were eliminating my position within three months. I was at complete loss and did not know what to do. As I came out of talking to the CEO, the HR Director called me and said that my Green Card application is about to be processed and I should expect it in the next 2 months. So even before my job was lost, I had a Green Card. However the best part is that due to Baba’s blessings, I found a good job within these 3 months and that kept my household stable.

• Experience 3:

  All my siblings are in the USA and my parents live in India. The day my youngest sibling left India, my parents felt very lonely and depressed. That night as my Father was sleeping. He felt a light close to his feet. When he looked up, he saw Sai Baba standing in the room and smiling at him. In a way, He was telling him that things would be fine. This happened the next night as well. Sai Baba was making sure that my parents felt protected and taken care of, even when their children were far away.

I love Sai Baba. He has shown His magnanimity in so many ways. All I am today is because of Him. If I keep writing about all His blessings, I can run into hundreds of pages. I am sharing a handful of them only to show that I am one of the countless souls that have benefited because of our belief in HIM.

I live in USA with my family. From my childhood, I use to pray SAI BABA and also have many good experiences. However as time passed on, we never thought of those experience and just use to pray SAI casually. I must say that whatever life I have today is all SAI’s Biksha. Although I know Sai Baba from my childhood, I came to know about Sai Satcharitra book after my wedding. Now I read it few times and made-up my mind to follow as per SAI’s preaching. Here is my experience, where Sai taught me a lesson for not following His preaching. I am sorry Sai I have understood my mistake. Please forgive me. Maybe my experience sounds funny, but I have learnt a lesson. Please don’t mention my name and email id in the experience. Thank you.

One of my friend gifted me a face cream. I am not found of creams, but I know none will harm as I have applied few when I was in college, where I bought by my friends, but I never got one for me. People say I already have good skin and don’t need it. Next day my other friend asked me for some information, but I didn’t give her complete information, although I could have helped her by taking an extra mile. It’s not that I don’t want to, but somehow I felt not like taking that extra mile on that day. That same night, I felt like using the gifted cream and applied on face before going to bed. Next day evening, when I met my friend, she noticed that my skin on my face turned a bit rough and also there were few tiny pimples like spots developed. I just gave a thought and could realize that could have occurred due to usage of that cream. This was the cream, which is used by my friend regularly and smoothens skin. I have also applied it on leg for testing and it was good. I always think 100 times before doing a new thing, but this time I don’t know why I didn’t. Then I could realize that it is Baba’s punishment for not obeying His sayings. I could have immediately responded to my friend by just spending a bit of my time. I cried a lot and asked Sai to forgive me. Next day, my face turned uglier and was not able to go out. Then I tried my best to help my friend for whatever was asked and again asked Sai to forgive me and will not repeat it again. I use to worry whether I will get my skin back. I have requested Sai to give me back my normal skin by Thursday, if he really feels to forgive me. I didn’t want to go to a Doctor. However while browsing net, I found results, where it said that skin diseases are common in USA and there was a big list of symptoms written for different issues. I have suffered for almost 4 day and on Thursday my face looked almost normal. Today I feel that my face is glowing. Thank you, Baba, for making me realize my mistake. Friends, I could realize that Sai has done whatever I asked for. Like, whenever I pray, I say that incase if anything is wrong anytime, please teach me a lesson immediately so that I can sustain in Your path. Please be with me Sai and guide me. Please bless everyone Sai.
