Sai Returned My Lost Phone

It was Thursday, the day before Shivaratri(23rd Feb, 2017) and I paid a visit to the Sai temple in my office area. I was getting late, so I was breaking the traffic rules to reach the place. Somehow I reached the temple and just managed to buy a rose for my Sai just in the nick of the time. While handing over my offerings to the temple management, I also tried to outsmart the people managing the darshan queues to get inside the temple. But I was not allowed and I had to sit in the outside courtyard. I thought that was Sai’s punishment for acting smart rather than being humble and honest in my dealings. The aarati started and halfway through that I realised that my mobile was missing. I could remember that I had securely put my Scooty keys and wallet inside my bag, but somehow I was unable to remember if I had done so with my phone. I made a small search and could not find it in my bag. I started wondering if I have left the phone in the open storage space of my Scooty and if I had done so, then the beggars thronging the area or any other temple visitors could easily take away my phone. Thinking all this, I lost peace of my mind and could not concentrate on aarati. I could not afford to search vigorously because the aarati was still going on, but I had become very anxious as it was a new one and losing it would bring a big debacle onto me.

I tried to calm myself placing my entire faith on Sai Baba as I knew it was He Who was playing with me by hiding my mobile and making me restless. Somehow I also felt that He was punishing me for my misdeeds and after He was done with the same, He would Himself hand it over to me. I was reminded of the story of Hari Kanoba from Sai Satcharitra and tried to participate in aarati with full faith and zeal, though I was quite torn from inside. After the aarati, I started searching my mobile vigorously, but could not find it in my bag. I ran to my Scooty to check if I had left it over in the storage space. But it was not found there as well. I could not even ask the beggars if they had seen a phone lying there. I was thoroughly scared and was wondering from whom to ask help so that I can make a call to my number and locate my phone. I knew the temple owner and asked him to call my number. The temple owner called my number 2 times. Though we were able to contact my number, we could not hear the ring tone. So I understood that it was not in my bag. I panicked more, praying to Sai to forgive me and promising Him never to act cunning while coming for His darshan. I also thought the phone was yet not stolen, since had it been so, then the thief would have switched off my phone by then.

I started thinking of the next steps and the rebuke and embarrassment which I would have to deal with, lest I did not get back my phone. I was already infamous for my carelessness and this would be the final nail on my coffin. After a few tensed moments, the temple owner again came to me and asked me if I had found my phone. I replied him in negative and he asked one more temple management guy. To my huge relief, that guy said “Yes, a phone had been found and he directed us towards the flower vendor”. While the temple owner started blaming the vendor, I ran over to her and she handed over my phone, explaining me how I had left my phone over the counter while making the payment and that she did not intend to steal it. She was explaining in Kannada and though she was trying desperately to prove her innocence, I smiled since I knew that the Lord played His leela and after giving me the proper lessons, returned me my phone. I told her thank you and she was relieved. What she did not know was that I was more relieved than her. The temple owner said that Baba protects all and I could not have lost my phone anyways in His presence. I thanked Sai Baba profusely and could then pray with peace.

With the above leela, Sai taught me the importance of humility, honesty and the lesson that He is the Master of all; so we should not even think of outsmarting Him. Even if we pray whole heartedly from a distance, He will still accept our prayers and offerings. But if we using our cleverness, put others in trouble and then pray to Him by standing right in front of Him, He would not pay heed to our requests and would make sure that we learn our lessons. I hope that my post would be an eye opener for other Sai devotees as well. Thanks Sai for teaching me this wonderful lesson and please help me to be humble and tread the right path. We are Your children and if You don’t teach us and bring us onto the right path, then who else will? Please help us avoid the dark pitfalls of wrong doings and clasping us with Your stern, yet gracious hands, lead us onto our goals. Om Sai Ram.

Baba Is Always With Me

Anonymous Sai Devotee from USA says: I am a 46 old married woman, blessed with a wonderful husband and two boys. Om Sri Sai Nathayanamaha! At First, I would like to thank Hetalji for giving us a wonderful and divine blog to share our experiences. I am a staunch devotee of Baba from last 25 years; I have felt Baba’s presence every moment of my life and experienced miracles many times. I started praying to Baba during my school days by going to His temple, but visited Shirdi later in my life.

I still remember the day Baba came to my life. It was in 1992, my aunt with her family was planning to go to Shirdi and I was asked to join them. I went with them and had a very good darshan of Baba and I felt like staying there forever and never wanted to come back. From that point I have been connected to Baba and reading Sai Satcharitra very frequently. Few years passed, I finished my Post Graduation and working in a small company. In 1995, on one evening, one of my aunt visited us, told me to do Saptaham (complete Sai Satcharitra book in 7 days) before she left. Then I went straight to my puja mandir and took the book (my Father bought it long time back) in to my hands and turned few pages. Next Thursday, I started reading and completed (Sapthaham), very next day my dad got promotion. I was so happy and started reading it second time. Within few days, I got a proposal and got married to a very nice man. Then I moved with my husband to US in 1996. Before I left India, I went to Shirdi, then took Sai Satcharitra and Baba’s photo with me.

With Baba’s blessings, we have two children now and both are doing good. I still continue to do Nitya parayana and do Sapthaham very frequently. For me Baba is everything and I try to practice His Preaching. I went through many hard ships but with Baba’s grace, I came out of all those and became more stable and confident. In this Kaliyug, Maya will try to influence us but we need to hold on to Baba’s feet to conquer that.

I want to share one of the Miracles happened to me recently. I got a severe neck pain one day and some of the doctors suggested me to go through the surgery and they said that was the only option for me at that time. Otherwise they said I will never become normal due. I was not able to sleep, work and do anything. My husband and kids were supporting me a lot, but I was in a horrible pain and wanted to get relieved from that. Next day I was planning to see another doctor to finalize whether I should go for surgery or any other option. That night, I went to Baba’s photo, took Udi, prayed to Him and rubbed it on my neck. I prayed to Baba, left everything on Him and went for my appointment. After my visit, we came to know that there was no need for surgery, physical Therapy would work. I attended few weeks of Therapy and came to normal stage. All of my friends were very surprised to see me and they were asking me how I managed without surgery. Thank You Baba for taking care of me!

As I see my kids are growing old, I want them to worship Baba more and get involved in religious activities. My older son got acceptances from some good colleges and but he is still waiting on one of the programs he wants to do. It might take few more weeks to get the result and we asked him to leave everything to Baba since He knows what is good for us. Baba, I request You to bless my child how You blessed me and please increase his devotion. Sri Sadguru Sainatha Maharaj ki Jai!

Sai Baba Saved My Life

Firstly I would like to thank the management of this site for maintaining it and facilitating devotees of Sri Sai Baba to share the experiences of the Leelas of Sri Sai Baba. You are doing a fantastic job sharing live examples of Baba’s kindness to the world. This is my second post on this forum. I am a devotee from the USA, and I would like to mention an incidence where Baba did His miracles and saved me from a life-threatening disease. I wouldn’t be here writing this or any story if Baba hadn’t shown His magic.

A couple of months ago I suddenly fell sick and had strange symptoms throughout the body, for Few days I didn’t pay much attention, but then I had to go and see the doctor. The doctor did the symptoms checks and suggested that I need to get more tests as I may be at risk of a rare but fatal virus. He said, he sees only some symptoms but remaining was missing, so he was still not sure. But he anyways suggested the tests and asked me to wait for the results. I was getting anxious as I have two small kids and old parents dependent on me and I just couldn’t lose my life like this. Given that the laboratory takes a couple of weeks to produce the results, I had no option but to wait and watch. Unfortunately, I started seeing more and more symptoms appear that matched with what was described by doctors. I totally lost it, couldn’t see, hear or speak anything and was in a dismal shock. Being long time followers, my Mom, siblings, and wife suggested taking Sai Baba’s shelter. I surrendered myself to Sai Baba and started doing Sai Satcharitra reading, Thursday fast and also started doing daily aarti. Sai Baba gave some signals in the dreams that He would let me out of this situation, but at that time it was hard to believe. But the day came when the result was out; to my surprise it was due to another issue which had similar symptoms. I was pleasantly surprised and was giving 100s of thanks to Sai Baba. Doctor asked me to do some more checks which also took time but I was just hanging on with faith on Baba and with His grace, all of the tests came in my favour. To be honest, I did doubt You Baba when things were looking adverse, but at the end, You kept Your promises even though it took me a long time to see it through. Baba, pardon me for all the mistakes I have committed through that time including writing this post late.

I am looking for Your guidance and blessings to live rest of my life. Please help me with my Chronic Headache issue, which I believe is there due to mistakes and shortcomings from my side and is not going away after numerous attempts from all directions. Baba, please help me and show me the way.

Baby Is Doing Good With Baba’s Blessings

I live in Hyderabad with my family. I was married in 2013 and have a ten months baby now. Had many moments and experiences that Baba made my family to be happy always.

Thanks for Hetalji and her team for such a great work. Let me share my experience. My daughter is ten months old baby, always been happy and lovely and we never know our time while playing with her. Recently she went to my wife’s village for a week with her grandparents for an occasion. Initially the baby was doing good for four days and suddenly she was not feeling well due to ill health and was seriously suffering from fever, vomiting and motions. We rushed to hospital and the doctor prescribed some medicines and syrups to the baby. It had been two days and no change in the improvement of baby’s health. Meanwhile the occasion of Maha Shivaratri had come and we started enchanting the Sai namam ” Om Sai,Shri Sai, Jaya Jaya Sai” for the whole night and prayed Baba to cure the baby’s health and offer the blessings to my family. The day after Shivaratri, at first fever and vomiting had stopped. And the next day motions had stopped. The baby is doing now good with Baba’s blessings. Like this in each and every moment Sai Ma is blessing me in my life. I suggest to all devotees never loose faith in Baba and best solution to overcome any problem is to enchant Sai ma. ” Om Shri Satchidhanandha Samardha Sadguru Sainath Maharaj Ki jai”

Sai Blessed Me many Times

Sai Devotee Vaishakhi from India says: My name is Ritu. I live in Uttar Pradesh. Sai Baba is everywhere and I think everyone here has experienced existence and blessings of Sai Baba in their life. Here I also want to express my experiences with all Sai Baba devotees. I am just a tiny devotee of Sai Baba but Sai Baba blessed me every time. Some blessings of Sai Baba upon are as follows.

My past was very worse. I have made many mistakes in my past which I cannot mention here. Due to those mistakes my life was going to hell, even I decided to commit suicide. I do not remember how and when I got attached Sai Baba. After that felt guilt from my fast I decided just to concentrate upon Sai Baba. I fast on Thursday to overcome my guilt. I belong to Uttar Pradesh state. I never thought that I will get a chance to go Shirdi. But in 2011, my relatives decided to go Shirdi and also asked my family to come with. Then by Sai Baba’s grace me and my mother went to Shirdi with my relatives. In Shirdi I prayed Sai Baba and felt guilty for what I had done in my past. And I said Sai Baba that I want to marry a boy whom I loved. If I marry him then I will surly come again to Shirdi. Then after two years I got married with my love. Then after marriage again I got a chance to go to Shirdi with my husband. When I reached Shirdi I thanked Sai Baba a lot. Then I do not know how I said that next time I will come here with my child (son). Then you can’t believe again after two years, I was blessed with a baby boy. Before few months Sai Baba again called us. I again went to Shirdi with my husband and son. I am very thankful of Sai Baba for His blessings upon me. I just wish Sai Baba to always stay with my family. Sai Baba please give my husband and son a long and happy life.

I Am Here Because Baba Is Here

Anonymous Sai Devotee from India says: I am totally dependent on Baba because I am totally disabled without Baba. My heartfelt pranam to Baba and thanks to Hetalji. Every minute in my life is totally depended on Baba. There are many miracles by our beloved Baba in my life. This is my sixth post here on this divine platform. Coming to my recent miracles, my husband faced some issue in his profession without his mistake but it was mistake of all who were not alert in that particular issue. My husband felt tension if he had to get sign off. But I had full faith on Baba and prayed wholeheartedly to save him. No doubt He saved him and he is in his job without any issues.

Second miracle is, I suffered with two painful boils and I could not go to doctor here in America where I am temporarily staying with my daughter. So I prayed Baba to cure my boils and said that I would post this miracle. Baba came to my rescue and my boils healed off fully. My God Baba My love Baba My heart Baba! Om Sai Ram.
