Baba’s Kindness In Two Incidents

I also thank Hetalji for the great service she’s doing for Sai devotees worldwide, for which we are forever indebted to her. Her work has helped increase our faith in Baba and has given us the strength to carry on in difficult times by taking His name. Thank you for allowing me to share my experiences with other Baba devotees.

I’m a housewife living in Bangalore with my husband and son. Our values, though liberal, are strongly influenced by a spiritual bent of mind and for the last several years, I’ve been a strong devotee of Baba. I’ve experienced many instances of His kindness that have strengthened my faith in Him. Here I outline two such experiences of Baba’s grace.

A family meal or an ordeal? A few months ago, my sister-in-law and her family were due to visit our house one weekend morning for lunch. As usual, we had planned an elaborate meal for them which I was preparing with some anxiety as they were due to arrive by 10:30 a.m. Finally, I was relieved that at least the major part of the cooking was done within time and after waiting for 30 minutes which is enough time to allow the food to cook, I opened the cooker lid. To my shock I found the food half-cooked! I still had a few dishes to make, and time was ticking. I was in a state of dismay as I didn’t want to cut a sorry figure in front of my in-laws but could find no instant solution to this mess. Finally, I prayed to Baba to delay their visit until my cooking was done properly. After this, I stopped checking the time and focused on cooking the half-cooked dishes properly and attending to the remaining ones. I felt a wave of delight as the bell rang just after my cooking was finally done. My in-laws apologized for their delay and explained that they had spent some time at a nearby temple before coming over. I thanked Baba in my heart for stalling them thus and helping me save face as well as give them a good meal. All praise be to Baba!

Reaching Baba’s devotee, I’ve recently been regularly watching the YouTube videos of a strong devotee of Baba who goes by the name of Sai Ram. He conducts group prayers for fulfilling the wishes of devotees who contact him with requests for the same so their problems would be resolved through the power of the combined prayers of Sai devotees. He also arranges trips to Shirdi for devotees, engages in arranging charitable acts like annadaan (food donation) and other selfless initiatives in Baba’s service. I was impressed with this gentleman’s dedication to the service of Baba, and wanted to seek his help in arranging a group prayer for seeking Baba’s help with a multitude of issues relating to my son’s career and matrimonial prospects as well as my troubling health issues. Unfortunately, though I rigorously searched many of his videos (he has more than 100), I couldn’t find his contact number mentioned in the description of any of them. I was despairing of how to get in touch with him and was expressing my disappointment to my son, when I randomly started playing one of his videos. As the video was nearing its end, he suddenly mentioned an instance when some devotees of Baba wanted to make a request to him and came to his house unannounced due to not being able to contact him through phone. He requested that from here on, all devotees to call him first before making a visit – and then, to my delight, he proceeded to give his phone number! What can this be if not yet another instance of Baba’s kindness when His devotees were distressed. He always comes through for you by showing you a path when you’ve given up. Thanks to Baba’s help, I was not only able to request a group prayer but also received pariharam (remedy) suggestions that we are now carrying out to further affirm our faith in Him. May Baba continue guiding His devotees thus through their lives. Om Sai Ram.

How Sai Baba Came Into My Life2

Om Sai Ram. Dear Hetal Ji, first of all thank you so much for hosting a website like this. I have been to your site just one week ago and it was so relieving for me to read a devotee experience as I was going through a similar situation. Though I used to search and read Baba related stories from so many sites, it was for the first time that I was seeing this site. And I never had any intentions to post anything anywhere at that time. One week from there, I am sharing my experiences with Baba, with His permission. Who is Sai to me? Guru, God or someone else? For this question, I have yet to find the correct answer. I have taken the pen so many times to start writing about Sai, but it was postponed due to circumstances. Today I have decided to share my experiences as I feel the time has finally come and it is a coincidence that today is also a Thursday.

I am from Kerala and I have never heard about Sai in my childhood days, even as a story. My father was a very pious man who used tell us about all puranas, stories and taught us manthras, poojas etc. He became a Sai devotee when I was in my 12th standard. He never tried to impose anything on us, but he was very sincere about whatever he was saying about Sai. So I never wanted to hurt him asking questions about the so called ‘Godmen’. Later I was in college and it was not difficult for me to adjust as it would be only for two to three days I had to hear about all these whenever I was at home. By the time I completed my course and was back home, my father was a full-fledged Sai devotee attending functions, bhajans, organising charity events etc. etc. I too had started attending bhajans and charity events along with him as he liked those, though I was not convinced fully about Baba.

One day he gifted me Sai Satcharitra, but I kept it for reading later. The struggle in me was getting worse when I had to take a double standard in several situations as I need to please my father and my own self. So I decided to test Baba for the first time. I started reading Satcharitra as Saptaha, but kept one demand that I need to have an evidence at the end of my Saptaha from Sai. I completed my reading in 7 days and on 8th day it was the upsamhara and there were no evidences from anywhere. On 8th day while I was reading, someone rang the doorbell and I went out to check who it was. I was dumbstruck to see a person asking for alms with a photo of Shirdi Sai Baba as I had never seen anyone like that before in my entire life there in our village. I gave him some money and he left our house. Then I realised what actually had happened and I wanted to give him food too. Next to ours is my ancestral home and no one coming in that area will miss that house so I called them to check whether anyone came there. But no one was there. I wanted a miracle and Sai gave me one. Later I thought about it again and I remembered about what is written in the Satcharitra – that seeing the photo of Baba is same like seeing Him directly. As I was reading Satcharitra for the first time, it didn’t strike to me at that time. From that day onwards, there were no doubts in my mind about Sai Baba. From then, though not in public I have started reading Satcharitra whenever I feel like reading and have attended Bhajans with a better mind. I am still having the same Satcharitra copy which my father had given me around 20 years before and I have never thought about buying another copy as it was a gift from my dearest father. I hope this is fine as a first post. Will share with you my other experiences sooner by the grace of Sai. May He bless you all.

How Baba Healed My Ear And My Mind

Shirdi Sai Devotee Radha Sreedhar from Japan says: Sairam. I am living in Japan and Baba is an integral part of my life. I have lost count on how many miracles and changes He has brought about in my life. This latest experience of mine has humbled me and healed me both physically and mentally.

As everyone knows Baba’s centenary celebrations is an event where every Baba devotee has been looking forward to and I myself was very eager to celebrate it in some unique manner but I had no clue as to how to do it. Unlike several other countries in the west and in India, we in Japan do not have several Baba temples and activities that I could participate and celebrate. There is of course one nice Baba temple in Tokyo but it is too far for me to visit. However, I left this matter to Baba and told Him that He will make me do what He wants me to do. Meanwhile, a dear friend from Canada informed me of the Mahaparayan that is conducted on a large scale and encouraged me to join the same. I happily sent in my name and details and was very grateful to be accepted as a part of the group Parayan. Once this was done, I was quite satisfied that I had done my part and there could be nothing more that I could do to celebrate Baba’s Punyathithi. But of course, Baba always has better plans for us. Suddenly out of the blues I had some severe disturbance in my left ear. I felt that there was air gushing out of my ear. This was terribly annoying and created so much of unrest in me. This started happening hundreds of times in a day and I started getting very worried. I had made up my mind to visit the doctor the next day and I prayed to Baba to heal it as He is the biggest doctor in the world. That night, I was browsing through the www.mahaparayan.com site and was reading the experiences of Puja Garg Ji. I was scrolling the site randomly and suddenly my hands stopped on a particular line. It was the experience of how Pooja ji was so busy with the Mahaparayan preparations, her job and her child and exactly the same time her mother was having an ear problem. Needless to say, Puja ji’s mother applied udi on the ear and drank Udi mixed with water. I immediately resorted to the same remedy. Suddenly as if by inspiration I felt that I should listen to Baba’s Sai Satcharitra, the audio version, through You tube and finish this in the next four days ending on the Punyathiti day. From the moment I decided this and asked for Baba’s blessings, my ear discomfort just vanished. The very next day I was down with severe cold and cough and I had to cancel all my other plans for the days. This turned out to be a big blessing as I was able to listen to Sai Satcharitra audio fully with peace and calmness. I have just now finished the entire listening and with Baba’s blessing sharing the experience. It is not just the physical ailment that can be cured with Baba’s grace. The past four days have been so therapeutic and soothing. There is no way that I could have celebrated Baba’s punyathithi with so much peace and grandeur. May Baba bless each one of us and give us the two most inevitable things in life: Faith and Patience. Jai Sairam.

Baba Blessed Me With A Baby Boy

Every time when I felt low, You gave me assurance by saying that “Why fear when I am here”. Thanks a lot Baba. Please be with me not only in this life but please shower Your blessings in each and every life. Please consider me as Your daughter in each and every life. Before telling my experience I would like say thank you for each and every member who is working for this blog. Really you people are doing an amazing work. Coming to my experience, we are staying in USA. In my married life I struggled a lot with my married life, now with Baba’s blessings everything is going good. I lost my baby in the first pregnancy due to stress, tensions and my bad karmas. After that I was scared a lot to plan for second pregnancy. During the second pregnancy so many times I felt very scared, but Baba gave me courage to face everything. I prayed Baba to be with me on the day of C-section. When I asked in question and answers Baba said that “I am going to be with you but find me”. On the day of C-section I went to Baba’s temple there Baba was in green color dress. Then I felt that Baba was saying that everything was going to be fine and also I was thinking in my mind that, I need to find out Baba. Unexpectedly all my family members were in green color dresses. After going to hospital, doctor said everyone is in green, I didn’t observe that thing until the doctor told. Then I felt that Baba is in the form of my doctor. Then I felt relaxed and I went into the operation theatre. Everything went smoothly, and I am blessed with a healthy baby boy. Thanks a lot Baba. Om Sairam. Om Sairam. Praying Baba Helped To Recover From Pain

Anonymous Shirdi Sai Devotee from India says: Dear Hetalji and team, my sincere thanks to you all for maintaining a site that is creating the modern day Sai Satcharitra. I feel blessed that I came across this site a few years back.
I am here to share my experience regarding my wisdom tooth pain and my mother’s leg pain. I had severe pain in my cheeks, throat and ear due to my wisdom tooth and I had prayed to Baba to reduce the pain and that I would share the experience here to reiterate that praying to Him is always a solution and He is there to listen to us. As always my pain subsided.

A few days back my mother had severe pain in her leg as her nerve gets pulled pretty often. Every night she wakes up due to the pain. I had again prayed to Baba to kindly help the pain to go in two minutes and not to make my mother feel the pain again in the middle of the night. By His grace the pain went away immediately and she also had sound sleep at night. Thank You Baba for always being with us and for answering our prayers. I love to share these experiences here though I am sorry for posting it a bit late. Also thank You Baba for everything else. You are my only saviour.

I Am Here Because Sai Is Here

We are on the way to Shirdi presently halted at Hyderabad. So this trip is planned by Our Baba because these are Dussehra days which are very significant days of our living Baba. Actually accommodation at Shirdi is booked on my name and I forgot to bring my aadhar card which is mandatory to allot a room. So we couldn’t do anything except praying Baba to help us. Really the miracle happened that we were blessed with aadhar card from internet centre here. So Baba can make impossible to possible.
