A Couple of Sai Baba Experiences – Part 231

Experience at Khandoba Temple

During the month of May 2012, I wanted to visit Shirdi. Sometimes whatever we plan, Sai has to call us. By blessings of Sai, I happened to visit Shirdi. I wanted to stay for 3-4 days in Shirdi. I took bus from Bangalore to Shirdi. I reached Shirdi around 10 am on Wednesday. I had booked for accommodation at Sai Niwas. At Sai Niwas, they let you provide accommodation from 11 AM. It is their check-in time. I had breakfast and took the accommodation. I had desire to have noon Aarti, Darshan on the same day. But I knew it is difficult. Anyways, I took bath and bought “Guava” fruit since our Sai Baba likes it. This is what I learned from Sai Satcharitra.

I started proceeding towards Mandir for Darshan. On the way, it is Khandoba temple. It is more than 150 years old and there are lots of references to it in Sai Satcharitra. I wanted to visit that temple as well. On the way, my fruit cover broke and all guavas fell down on the street. I collected all of them and put that back in cover and don't know what happened, I went to Khandoba Temple. There were very little crowd and so I went inside to have Darshan. But they didn't let me go into sanctum because of Aarti time. But when I showed that I want to place guava fruits, lady allowed me inside sanctum and I placed guava and did Pradakshana, and came back outside sanctum and was sitting there. I was enjoying the ambience and there was no body. I had Sai Satcharitra book in my hand and I was trying to recollect pages in the book, where they referred about Khandoba temple. Now it was Aarti time, and I was sitting outside the sanctum and suddenly priests called me. I went inside the sanctum. He gave me this huge dhoopam and tells me to stand and hold it. It was quite heavy and says me to do Aarti, once Aarti song is started. I was numb and didn't know what's happening. Aarti song was played, and I started showing dhoop at Khandoba temple in Shirdi and was doing Aarti to deity and Sai Baba. I was just numb and surprisingly I didn't get any tears. I was just going through blank emotions and showing dhoop to deity and Sai Baba. Since it was heavy my concentration was to do it properly. Slowly I see devotees stream outside the sanctum. It was around 10-15 minutes of dhoop. There was another devotee in sanctum and he showed dhoop for some time. We both alternated during Aarti. I came out of temple and thanks Sai Baba for this opportunity. I took some pictures outside Khandoba temple and went happily for Samadhi Mandir. It was his blessings only that I was instrument on that day for Aarti. Om Sai Ram. Om Sai Nathaya namaha.

Baba - The Savior

I am an ardent devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba since 2008. Ever since, I have the feeling that He has been with me in all my ups and downs. I am a doctor and finished my degree in 2010 and got married and came to USA in July. Literally, I was scared to be in USA because everything seemed new to me since I grew up in village. I have no friends, no relatives here. But my Baba is with me. Baba has been with me all the time to give me confidence to talk and communicate with others. It took me 6 months to get along and then I started my preparation to clear medical exams in USA. Meanwhile my father in law passed away. I and my husband got really depressed by this. Again it took us 5 to 6 months to come out of this. By Baba's grace, we did. I was studying on and off for my exams. As time was getting delayed and delayed to give my exam, I was really sad. We booked the dates for my exam; unfortunately I couldn’t give my exam. Then we postponed to next three months. In the next three months, I got pregnant by Baba's grace. Even though we hadn’t planned. All the pregnancy symptoms made me really sick. I had doubt in my mind whether am I able to sit for 8 hours exam. I thought, I could not make this time too. But Baba made me to write exam without any difficulties. I got good marks too. Without Baba, I could not pass that long and tiresome exam. Please forgive me Baba for all the bad things, which I had done. Bless all devotees and their families, Baba. Now I am praying Baba, for my sister to get marry soon. I know Baba will help us. Waiting For Sai To Show Me The Way

Anonymous Devotee from Hong Kong says: Dear Hetal Ji, May Sai's blessings always be with you for giving us such an opportunity to share experiences and get His blessing through the readers prayers. I have been a Sai Devotee since 1995, when I started visiting the Sai Baba's temple. Although in between I did lose touch with my Sai, but since 2008 Sai has always been with me and has always called me to visit Him in Shirdi. Please do not disclose my identity details. I would like to be Anonymous. I have been working abroad for several years and was looking for better opportunities interims of job and a good country, where I could settle down. Last year, due to certain circumstances, I quit my job, which I had been holding on to for quite some time and hoping I would get a better opportunity and then quit. However, the situation became such that I decided to quit and I could feel Sai saying to me it is time to move on and so I did. Soon after returning back home, I started to apply and with His grace, I got a good job. But shortly afterwards, I got a job in a country, where I always wanted. With His blessings, I got this job, which was a miracle because I had been trying for that job for a long time. Despite many hurdles for getting paper work done, but with Sai' blessings, all was done and I joined my new job in a new country. I took this as a sign of Sai showing me that now He made all my dreams come true. However, after a few months, I started to feel the working environment was very stressful and finally came to a point, where I could not go on and have planned to quit. I tried my best and put in all efforts to do my job and prayed to Sai to give me strength to do so. I kept in my mind that maybe this is Sai's way of testing whether I am worthy of where I am and did not give up. But now I can't go on with my job because it's affecting my health. Sai's miracle brought me to this place and now I have left everything to Sai and waiting for Him to show me the way. I have applied for several jobs in the same country and hope with Sai's blessing I can get another opportunity. I have left everything on Sai's hand and whatever way He shows me, I will follow the same. I just wanted to share with our readers that sometimes what we think is best for us might really not be. But Sai has always better plans for us. Please, Baba, give me strength to keep going and follow the steps You show us. Readers, please pray for me that Sai shows me what to do next. JAI SAI RAM
