Sai Baba Experience At Khandoba Temple In Shirdi

Anonymous Devotee from India says: Om Sai Ram. Blessed is the team, who is involved in development and design of this forum to share experience of Sai. I would like to share one of my recent experiences of Sai. Sai – please help me to always serve Sai devotees and all living beings. I want to remove my ignorance, maya and always look at you. During the month of May 2012, I wanted to visit Shirdi. Sometimes whatever we plan, Sai has to call us. By blessings of Sai, I happened to visit Shirdi.

I wanted to stay for 3-4 days in Shirdi. I took bus from Bangalore to Shirdi. I reached Shirdi around 10 am on Wednesday. I had booked for accommodation at Sai Niwas. At Sai Niwas, they let you provide accommodation from 11 AM. It is their check-in time. I had breakfast and took the accommodation. I had desire to have noon Aarti Darshan on the same day. But I kinda knew it was difficult. Anyways, I took bath and bought “guava” fruit since our Sai Baba likes it. This is what I learned from Sai Satcharitra. I started proceeding towards Mandhir for Darshan. On the way, it is Khandoba temple. It is more than 150’years old and there lot of references to it in Sai Satcharitra. I wanted to visit that temple as well.



On the way, my fruit cover broke and all guava fell down on the street. I collected all of them and put that back in cover and don’t know what happened I went to Khandoba Temple. There were very little crowd and so I went inside to have Darshan. But they didn’t let me into sanctum because of Aarti time. But when I showed that I want to place guava fruits, lady allowed me inside sanctum and I place guava and did “pradashana,” and came back outside sanctum and was sitting there. I was enjoying the ambience and there was no body. I had Sai Satcharitra book in my hand and was trying to recollect pages in the book, where they referred about Khandoba temple.

Now it was Aarti time. And I was sitting outside the sanctum and suddenly priests called me. I went inside the sanctum. He gave me this huge dhoopam and tells me to stand and hold it. It was quite heavy and says me to do Aarti, once Aarti song started. I was numb and didn’t know what’s happening. Aarti song is being played, and I started showing dhoop at Khandoba temple in Shirdi and was doing Aarti to deity and Sai Baba. I was just numb and surprisingly I didn’t get any tears. I was just going through blank emotions and showing dhoop to deity and Sai Baba. Since it was heavy my concentration was to do it properly. Slowly I see devotees stream outside the sanctum. It was around 10-15 minutes of dhoop. There was another devotee in sanctum and he showed dhoop for some time. We both alternated during Aarti.

I came out of temple and thanks Sai Baba for this opportunity. I took some pictures outside Khandoba temple and went happily for Samadhi Mandir. It was His blessings only that I was instrument on that day for Aarti. Om Sai Ram. Om Sai Nathaya Namaha.

Baba’s Miracle

I am very thankful to you Hetal Ji that you have provided a platform on which people can write about the Baba’s miracles and blessings, which actually boosts up the faith and belief of people on Baba. So many people are there, who come so close to Baba by reading so many experiences on this blog. I am Reetika residing in Sainik Vihar. I want to share an experience, where Baba took out my sister in law’s brother of death.

One day my sister in law’s brother met a severe accident, where a speedy bike hit him and dragged him to the other side. The police and my sister in law (priyanka) took him (akshit) to the hospital name DDU. There doctors treated him, but priyanka and her mother were not satisfied with the treatment. Other day I went there and I saw that Akshit was not able to take proper breathing. I got scared, so we have decided to take him to the different hospital and we took him to Max Hospital pitampura. When we reached there, the nurse told us that his breathing is not normal. We were more scared now.

The doctors took him immediately to the ICU and there he got the oxygen mask, but then too he was not taking the breath properly. Akshit’s leg was broken and due to this fracture the element which was coming out of the bone into body was not absorbed by it. Generally it gets absorbed, but there are few cases where it doesn’t get absorbed and he was one of them. Day by day his condition was getting worse, but I and my sister in law Priyanka, we both were having faith on Baba. Priyanka started reading Sai Satcharitra everyday there in the hospital. Then again one more severe problem occurred. He was kept on the ventilator. We all were tensed. We both start praying Baba. We both went to Baba’s temple at Rohini. There with grace of Baba’s Aarti was going on. I said in my heart if he will be out of the danger, then I will write this miracle on blog. So that everybody can read it.

There we got an aunty, whose brother was also serious, but came out of the hands of death by taking Pavitra Snan Jal. Priyanka next day went in the morning to the temple to get the holy water of Sai, when she got it, she couldn’t made Akshit drink it as he was on ventilator, but smeared on his forehead and she kept on smearing Baba’s Vibhuti on Akshits head. She keep on reading Sai Satcharitra everyday there and was least bothered about which relative is coming to meet whatever they saying.

I was going regularly there reading Sai Baba’s holy book and we both only talk about Baba. He made us so positive that we became positive being in so worse condition .I got glimpse that Baba is standing in front of Akshit and is giving blessings to him and one day Priyanka got a dream that Baba is going in Akshit’s room. Gradually Akshit came out of the danger even doctor said that it was miracle. He came out of ventilator and now He is living with his mother and sister. His father was dead before this accident. This is a biggest miracle which I have seen from my eyes and now his legs are not joined yet because of lack of calcium and weakness. But he is alive and studying hard. Baba always be with your devotees. Believe me He always listens the prayer only. We became impatient. Have patience have belief in Him. These are the key words of Baba.OM SAI RAM.

Devotee Experience

Anonymous Devotee from USA says: I got married on 2011. My husband is also working in IT field. After marriage within 20 days, he returned back to work. I was not able to go because my visa got rejected. I suffered a lot because my in-laws created many problems between me and my husband. I kept crying for number of sleepless nights. My mom used to worship all the gods including Sai Baba as well. She told me about Sai Vrat and benefits of Vrat. So I started Sai Vrat on April. Every Thursday, I skip my breakfast for Vrat and will have lunch and dinner. I can do Vrat for whole day, but my in-laws will start enquiry about why I am not eating and all if I am saying I am doing Vrat to them they won’t encourage me. They will discourage me. So I did not tell them and had my lunch and dinner. Sai Baba helped me the 2nd week of Vrat. I got my visa approved. I was so happy. I finished my Vrat 9 weeks and when I go to Baba temple at my mother’s place in India, I put money on hundi for finishing the Vrat instead of donate food to peoples because my in-laws won’t let me to do all those things. Now I am staying with my husband by Baba’s grace.

First devotee, I think your experience was posted before, but your Shirdi trip experience was nonetheless very interesting and Baba gave you the unique chance to perform pooja at the Khandobha temple. 2nd devotee, it is a miracle that your sister in law's brother survived such an accident and Baba saved him surely from death. 3rd devotee, although you didn't get the visa to be with your husband, Baba soon helped you after performing Sai Vrat and you were able to get the visa very soon after starting the Sai Vrat. Although we don't get what we want right away, there is always a reason why things happen when they do, be it due to our past bad karmas or Baba's plans for us, but everything works out okay in the end because we have Baba with us and He only looks out for the best for us. Om Sai Ram!

Baba please shower your choicest blessings on them with a long healthy life, filled with happiness, laughter, jiy, courage, knowledge, widom, strength, ability, peace and prosperity. Please help us live a respectful life. Baba we are facing many challenges and I believe you are aware of everything. Please help us and hold our hands. Please help my hubby to take care of his health and be active in mind and body. Baba please take care of my children, please be with them at all times Baba.
