Baba: The Most Merciful

This post is primarily for those who are academically starting back from a break and for anyone who needs affirmation of Baba’s never-ending love. I have always felt that this forum is Baba’s way of communicating with me through fellow Sai bhakts and want to thank everyone for sharing their amazing experiences. I recently Graduated from my Master’s Program and started working here in the US. Going back in time 3 years ago I had come to the US; otherwise happy in my married life but unhappy professionally and some family issues that left bad taste in the mouth living in a joint family.

Going back in time, I worked in India for close to 2 years before moving to the US. As it became clear after some market research the only option left for me was to go back to school/college. Also, I had always wanted to but was not sure if I could do that with a bad/normal academic graph. Anyhow, I started studying taking baby steps and I kept failing constantly in meeting my daily targets (along with household work). My husband plays an important role in this particular story of mine, as he has proved to be the wind beneath my wings. Although I certainly had my responsibilities of a wife to fulfil, he would very often help me and mentor me in all ways humanly possible in my desire to pursue higher education. On a different note, we both (my husband and I) as individuals are very different from each other and ours was an arranged marriage. We had to fight our battles in our marriage mostly societal and orthodox mindset related but by Baba’s grace he is my best friend today. We both have evolved and made each other a better person only through the continuous support of Baba. Now going back to my story.

The aim was to qualify for Masters in the US and then get a job and basically learn life skills. So, I was studying, I also tend to be delicate health wise. However, after a lot of struggle I decided to give it a full try and prayed to Baba for His presence all the time. I then had to learn many new things, right from learning to driving, inter personal skills etc. Me not being a go-getter Sai was my only aide in taking every step; fighting my age-old fears. Baba helped me literally in everything, so many things that it is really very difficult to pen all the thoughts here.

Now moving on a little bit, I got admission and I was working hard like any other student which was very challenging, yet fulfilling. I am now describing the time when I was about to graduate. Now, some background information, I was on Student Visa which has limitations on me staying in the country and students can only be unemployed for a given period of time after which they have to either change their Visa status (if married and dependent on spouse) or go back to their home country. Meanwhile, the permit to work which was another document that takes 3 months and some paperwork was due and had arrived on time. Now the urgency was that it would be wasted and would be of no use if I didn’t find a job soon. But there was Baba’s hand in this too. I received it on a Thursday so I knew He would take care. There were so many linkups and requirements that with my little brain full of worries I couldn’t see the light. The only thing that kept me going was the fact that Baba had been there all through this. Ultimately Baba took care of things miraculously and everything fell in place. I got a good starting job at a firm which had wonderful culture and people.

I have a long way to go but I know Sai is the Doer and He will do the best for me in every sphere of life. The overall experience is that basically Baba planned all this for me; He made it economically possible to pay my tuition, and help me graduate. He improved my relationship with my husband during this journey. He also gave me a starting point for work and made sure my baby steps of believing in Him and making an effort were rewarded; remember I was absolutely terrible academically. I did not do any special poojas during this period. Although recently, I did start Nav Guruvar which is yet to be completed. However, our dear mother accepts even one minute of sincere Prayer with equal love. So, in my humble opinion, I feel Baba would want us to transform into better persons than just praying to Him without the effort for true inner change/improvement.

I wish that each one of us always remain with Baba and feel Him through pleasure and pain and know that He will take care, for He loves us the most. Sairam!! Lastly, I want to share some ground rules that helped me immensely and I continue to follow. 1. Connect with Baba and remember Him. Dare to do the right thing and surrender. Take action even if it appears to be difficult. Baba is always loving, don’t panic no matter what, a solution will be sent your way. Sai comes running for help, so be calm. 2. Regarding people: Don’t harm others even if you have had a rough time. Fight your jealousy and comparison if any (I was reluctant to agree but had this issue). Helping or just pray for help but don’t take revenge. I pray that may each one of us always remain with Baba and feel Him through pleasure and pain and know that He will take care, for He loves us the most. Sairam.

Miracle Of Sainath That Changed My Friend’s Life

Om Sairam. In 2004 when I was in first year of Engineering in Bangalore. I met a friend called Jyoti. She was in Electrical Engineering and myself in Electronics. She was a local resident and would often visit me in my hostel. Gradually our friendship grew and Jyoti opened up about her life, about her personal losses, how within her own family she was looked down upon and always compared with her younger sister and how at one point of time while in Class 11 she consumed poison to end her life. Jyoti would often cry and I used to be helpless, consoling her that everything would be alright.

Jyoti was a very helpful friend. Being a localite she would drive me around on her scooty taking me to nearby temples or to book stores, tuition classes or local markets. Jyoti first took me to Malleshwaram Sai Temple. She would offer roses on Thursday; light diyas and offer her prayers to Baba with full devotion. She would fast and keep vrat for Baba on Thursdays. She would take me to Durga Temple and show me how to make lemon diyas. This continued for 2 long years. Meanwhile Jyoti did not do well in semester exams and would always end up with several backlogs. Her backlogs were so many that she feared she would get a year back but she would always smile and say ” Baba Sab Thik Kar Dege” (Baba will do everything alright). Such was her faith in Sainath. Our common friend once asked her, “What is your God doing? You pray so much yet you suffer “. Jyoti would only smile. By Sainath’s grace Jyoti made a narrow escape from getting a year down. She gradually cleared her pending backlogs.

By now it was 2007, our 3rd year and campus placements started. Jyoti was not sure for placements on account of her pending backlogs. She was clueless where life was taking her but she had tremendous faith in Baba. Meanwhile she found a very good friend in one of her classmates Ravi. We would always tease her that they both make a very good pair but Jyoti would smile and say it’s just friendship and nothing else. It was mid 2008, our final semester came to an end and we left college and joined work. I moved to a different city and kept in touch with Jyoti through phone and social media. Jyoti’s life transformed from here on.

It was nothing short of a miracle. A girl with so many backlogs, on the verge of getting an year down went to United Kingdom to do her Master’s. She lived in UK for 2 years and returned to Bangalore to work in a very reputed firm. In 2013, Jyoti married Ravi, her friend since college. Ravi is an extremely caring, jovial and simple guy. On top of it like an icing on the cake, he was one of the good looking guys in our college. I specifically mentioned about his good looks because Jyoti was often taunted by her sister for her appearance. Her sister and family would always say that she won’t find anyone to marry her etc. Jyoti had a boyfriend in school who would deliberately avoid her and this used to hurt Jyoti a lot. Thus, getting Ravi as a life partner was nothing but a gift from Sai Baba. Everyone in Jyoti’s family was shocked, as was her friend from college. Jyoti now lives in Dubai with her husband Ravi and they both work in reputed firms. I always remember this life changing experience of Jyoti as the biggest miracle of Sai Baba that unfolded in front of me. Shraddha and Saburi can take us to places beyond our imagination. Love and trust is all that Baba needs to send us our Gifts. Om Sai Ram.

Sai Baba Miracles

Anonymous Sai Devotee from Australia says: Dear Devotees and Hetalji, I have been experiencing the miracles of Sai Baba right from the time I was introduced to this magnanimous God! My karmas were not good thus I came to know of the great Sai only very recently, that is less than two years. From that time on He has pulled me towards Him with His great acts of kindness, forgiveness and care.

I must say that He cares a lot for all His devotees and ensures that no one goes empty handed from His Darbar. I had the good fortune of experiencing some very great miracles in the short time that I have known Him and some have been also posted on this site previously. I ask Hetalji to please get this experience posted as it will help a lot of devotees to keep Shraddha and Saburi and my pledge to Sai would also be fulfilled. Thanks to this website and Hetalji that my faith and trust in the Almighty has grown ten folds. This is one of my most miraculous experiences so far.

I am having a wonderful feeling while is relating to these miraculous experiences. The first experience is about how I prayed to Sai for a job for my brother and brother-in-law as they had been struggling to find a job for a long period and he heard my ardent pleads to Him and both of them managed to get very good jobs last month. Thank You Dear Sai for that.

Second experience is about my blood reports which were not very good and the doctor had asked me to repeat the tests in a month’s time. Dear devotees you cannot imagine what I went through in that month. I was so scared, apprehensive and thinking the worst. My husband was also very worried. We took recourse in Sai and visited His temple each week, which was 45 minutes from our place. We also attended aarti and took the blessings of God Sai! I had His Udi mixed in water, daily read Sai Satcharitra, Kasht Nivaran Mantra which I always do.

I was very tensed on the day we had to see the specialist for the results the second time for the reports. I prayed that he says all is fine and you need not worry and come back after three months. Guess what those were the exact words of the specialist. I had been reading Sai 108 names and listening to His name chants and the great Sai has helped me again. Let me mention another miracle that happened- the date of my visit was 27th July, and a Thursday which was such an auspicious day. I also got seen by the head of the department doctor that day as the doctor I meant to see; had left for the day as I was a bit late! A blessing in disguise! Is it not a miracle? I got the best person and a second opinion to give me a verdict on a very special day and date! How great is my Sai!

All along this time when I was visiting the temple and thinking of a colour that my Sai would be dressed in to show me that He was listening and He was in those colours. Also the question answer site was giving me positive answers. Though sometimes these little hiccups come along the way and sometimes I get depressed and think that why me God, have I not had enough in my life? I believe that He is there for me and there is a reason for all that happens but He would ensure that I am always taken care of and protected by Him. Jai Sai Jai Jai Sai. Please God forgive me for anything I did wrong and bless me and my family always.

Sai Baba Heals

Anonymous Sai Devotee from USA says: I am basically from India and staying in USA from last 10 months with my husband. This is my 2nd experience and may Baba bless each and every person behind this great work.

I am a Sai devotee since childhood. I visit Shirdi often. My parents are also ardent devotees of Baba and it is because of my parents that I always prayed Baba everyday. We have very deep faith in Baba. Last year I got married and came to USA to live with my husband. Since then I am trying to adjust myself in new environment, new country and Baba had always been there by my side. There are days when I feel depressed; disturbed but Baba’s Udi has always helped me. Eating little Udi and chanting Baba’s name makes me feel calm and happy.

Few days before I had gone through medical lab tests. My first test results were little elevated than expected and so I had to go through tests for 2nd time and if the results were elevated this time as well then I would be on medication may be forever. This was little disturbing and my in-laws, husband were also worried related to the same thing. I prayed to Baba whole heartedly as I wanted my reports to be normal. I vowed to myself that if Baba listened to my prayers I would immediately post this experience over here so that it could reach as many people as possible, and this is what I am doing. I got my reports normal and there is no medication required. It is all due to Baba’s grace. Love Baba and Baba will love you back. Baba is always with us, He always tests us but guides us as well. To all Baba’s devotee – let us be good to each other; love each other, help each other rest Baba will take care. Have strong faith in Baba. May Baba Bless All. Om Sai Ram.

Om Sairam. Coming to my experience, yesterday I told Baba I will write the Experience on this blog if my wish gets fulfilled. So thanks Baba. A day before my sister’s son got hurt on his right elbow. Since he fell down from monkey bar he got fractured his elbow but by Hanuman and Baba’s grace doctors did some surgery and they told he would be fine in three weeks and was discharged from the hospital yesterday. But he got fever and pain in his hand and was not able to sleep and was crying for inconvenience. We were also very sad after seeing him like that. Then I prayed to Baba and put Udi on his head and hand and told to Baba to please make him sleep properly as he needs rest. If it happened so then I would share my experience tomorrow. And he slept well last night, thanks for that Baba.

But still he is feeling inconvenience for his hand and fever. I hope by Baba’s grace he will recover soon. Please bless him Baba as You know He is a very innocent kid, make him strong and like other kids. Baba he has to develop a lot by his mind as well as with respect to talking. He has to mingle with his age friends. Bless him Baba, You only can do that. Sorry Baba if I did any mistakes by writing this. Please bless my son, family, mother and my sister’s family with good health and peaceful life. Have faith and Saburi in Baba; He will be with us always. Pranamamyaham to Your lotus feet.

Sai Is The Saviour

Sairam everyone, my experience goes like this. Day before yesterday I issued an e-cheque online and I did a mistake in entering the personal details. I realized that yesterday. But by the time I realized; it was too late and I tried to call the office, but they said they couldn’t do anything once it was done online. This was the first time I was authorizing an e-cheque, I always prefer to write cheques manually. I prayed Baba to help me out from this situation. When I saw my bank account this morning, my cheque was cleared without any hiccups. I am thankful to Baba for protecting us from all kinds of problems. Om Sai Ram.
