Unseen Support Of Sai Baba

Anonymous Shirdi Sai Devotee from Canada says: My family moved to Canada from India in 2003 as permanent residents. We owned a flat in Hyderabad and left it locked without letting it out on rent when we moved. Except for a brief visit in 2005 and again in 2014, we hardly visited India. The flat remained locked from 2003 to 2017. During my brief visit in 2014, I realized the flat required to be renovated as it was not in a habitable state. My wife and I became ardent believers in Sai Baba around 2010/11 through a common acquaintance and used to attend the aartis periodically. We also started performing the afternoon aarti every Thursday at our home from 2012/13. While my wife had read Satcharitra several times, I had also read it on a couple of occasions.

From 2012, it has always been our wish to visit Shirdi in India and seek Sai Baba’s blessings. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, the trip did not materialize. Following multiple surgeries that my wife (62 years) and I (66 years) underwent between 2014-‘16, it became all the more difficult for us to travel as we were in the recovery period. Finally in May 2017, when our health was better, we decided to visit India in the last quarter of 2017. We made plans accordingly that included identifying a contractor for renovation of the flat in Hyderabad and also visiting Shirdi. The plan was to be in India for 4 months from October 2017 to February 2018. We booked our return tickets in June 2017 – reaching Bangalore on October 25, 2017 and returning back to Canada on February 26, 2018. We also decided to visit Shirdi first before going to Hyderabad as we wanted to start the renovation work of the flat after visiting Shirdi. Accordingly we booked the Dhoop and Kakkad aarti online in (August/September 2017 itself) for October 30/31. We were fortunate to have Baba’s darshan on the scheduled dates (October 30/31) as planned.

We reached Hyderabad on November 2, 2017 afternoon (a Thursday). The contractor wanted us to empty the flat of all stuff so that he could commence renovation from November 6 (a Monday). Considering that the flat was left locked for 14 years and there was so much stuff to be removed, my wife and I were wondering how both of us could accomplish this in a span of 3 days. By 8 pm on Nov 2, we were able to dispose off brass, aluminium and some stainless steel utensils at a trader’s shop. While removing the bed sheet from the cot, my wife saw a 1-page calendar (of 2003) with Baba’s picture right on top of all the mattresses. Baba’s picture occupied half the page – the other half had all the months of 2003. 2003 was the year we left India and at that time we were not very much aware of Shirdi and Sai Baba! On seeing the calendar with Baba’s picture, my wife had a feeling that Baba was indirectly blessing us and sending us a message. The next day (Nov 3 – Friday) morning, I called the trader’s shop and asked if he knew of interested parties who would take the other stuff – Godrej steel almirahs, cots, sofa sets, TV, crockery, VCRs etc. The trader stated he lived close by and would drop by our flat. He came within one hour, saw the entire stuff and stated that he could arrange for disposal of ALL the items by Nov 4 (Saturday) for an agreed sum of money that was mutually acceptable. Within a few hours he brought interested parties to have a look at the items. We returned to our hotel nearby (where we were staying) at around 5. 30 pm. At 6 pm, the trader called us again and informed that he had arranged for 5-6 tempos to be loaded with all the items and that the flat would be emptied by 10 pm the same day (Nov 3-Friday)! We rushed back to the flat and sure enough, the tempos were loaded and the flat emptied by 10 pm! My wife and I just could not believe that everything happened within a day of our arrival and that the flat would be emptied for the contractor to start work on the scheduled date – November 6 (Monday). It then became obvious that Baba had clearly sent us a message through His picture in the calendar that all would go well – and so it did! Thanks, Baba for the timely assistance.

The flat renovation was completed on Dec 29, 2017. I listed the flat “for sale” through several agencies and also inserted an ad in the local newspaper (Deccan Chronicle) on Jan 7, 2018 as I wanted to have the flat sold before returning to Canada on Feb 26, 2018. Since the response was not very good, I re-inserted the newspaper ad for the Jan 21, 2018 edition. Once again, though there were enquiries, progress was not satisfactory. As I was running out of time, I inserted the ad in 2 local newspapers for the Jan 27 and 28, 2018 editions. I also decided to go to Hyderabad (from Bangalore) and camp there to take care of enquiries and show potential buyers the flat. I reached Hyderabad on Jan 27 (Saturday) morning. I got several calls and also showed many interested buyers the flat. A potential buyer liked the flat when he visited on Jan 28 (Sunday) and we agreed on a price. He wanted to show the flat to other members of his family the same evening – they also came and liked the flat. The next day (Jan 29 – Monday), he brought another senior member of the family around 1 pm. He also liked the flat but backtracked from the negotiated price and wanted the purchase price to be reduced by several lakhs. I was shocked at this backtracking and refused to reduce the price. At around the same time, I got a phone call from another interested buyer and I requested him to visit the flat at 1. 45pm. Around this time I was devastated by the backtracking of the earlier party and wondered whether I would be able to dispose the flat before Feb 26.

The other potential buyer who was scheduled to come at 1.45 pm then informed me that they were at the premises and I gave them guidance on the flat location etc. After a few minutes, I came out of the main entrance door and looked out – from the lift emerged an elderly (retired) couple and I invited them in to look at the flat. Within 10 minutes, they looked and liked the flat and we agreed on a price that was mutually acceptable! I just could not believe the good fortune that had befallen me – things just changed within a span of 30 minutes. I immediately called my wife (who was in Bangalore) and gave her the good news. Matters got even better when the buyer and I (through our respective lawyers) agreed that the property registration would be completed on Feb 2, 2018 (Friday). The property was transferred and registered with the new owner on Feb 2, 2018 as scheduled. This could not have happened without Baba’s blessings. It was HE who sent the elderly couple when I was forlorn and lost at what would happen when the earlier potential buyer backtracked at the last moment. Thank You Baba for helping us in time and facilitating sale of the flat before we returned to Canada. My wife and I decided to visit Shirdi once more on Feb 6, 2018 to thank Baba for helping and guiding us in the sale of our flat before our return to Canada. I recounted our experience to several friends and relatives in person and felt that I should also write about it as an experience in your column. Thank You, Baba! Om Sai Ram!

Our Happiness Is Sai’s Priority

I am sure all of us have innumerable bold and subtle experiences of Baba every now and then. I am sharing this experience out of gratitude for having encountered Baba’s loving and kind grace. This is a small attempt to put a small droplet into the ocean of Baba’s experiences, to help strengthen that Sadguru Shri Sai Baba, Who is our sole refuge through this eternity.

Baba has been known and respected in my family more via my belief in Him and we don’t follow any specific rituals especially towards Baba. When my son was 8 years, he was undergoing a small surgery in my native. As usual, I prayed to Baba to make sure that everything goes well. It was not a special prayer as the surgery was considered pretty minor. My son was given a general anaesthesia and the operation went on successfully by Baba’s grace. When my son started coming back to consciousness, to distract him from the pain, we put on the TV and to my utter surprise the Shridi Ke Sai Baba film was playing and we could see only Baba in the frame for some time. I immediately knew that Baba assured me that He is watching over my son closely and will ensure his safe recovery. We got discharged the same day and one of my brother-in-law’s friend got Prasad from Shirdi for all of us. What more could I ask for? I knew that my happiness which was my son’s welfare was Baba’s priority. How much stress He undergoes for a simple devotee? I can really say that I am at a very low scale of devotion compared to so many of my fellow Sai brethren and my love for Baba is still very weak. Sai Miracle At Every Step Of Life

Shirdi Sai Devotee Mayuri Basu from India says: I am a devotee if Sai Baba from 2009. I love Him a lot I cry in front of Him. I fight with Him; I share my happiness with him and many more. I am just incomplete without Him.

Now coming to my experience Today morning I was very tensed and upset due to my work related problem. Actually I joined a new company with Sai’s blessing and I was not able to understand few steps and the work was related to the salary. The salary of all stopped and I was so upset as people need to run the family and how could they do it without salary? On top of that my bosses were also following up with the salary. I was praying Baba to solve it and decided to write here once the salary was processed. And trust me as soon I reached office I got a mail that more than half of the salary had already been processed and the balance would be processed once they get the proper documentations. I already submitted the documents and was worried whether it was the perfect one or not and then I got a mail again which stated the document as right one and processed the balance salary. I was so happy and Thanked Baba. Baba please be with us always. Om Sai Ram.

Baba Cured My Dad’s Health Issues

For the past few months my dad was getting some health issues and we were always running to hospitals and waiting for the test reports to come. With Baba’s grace every time the reports came normal. But these frequent visits to hospitals made me very sensitive. I get extremely anxious when my dad gets any health issues. Yesterday my dad’s stools were not normal and this gave me lots of tension and stress. Because 4 months back we went to the doctor for the same problem and did lots of tests. After 1 week all the reports came normal. Since this happened again I got very anxious and restless. So at night I prayed to Baba and applied His Udhi on me and ate some and went to sleep. I asked Him to take care of my dad and asked Him to help him get back to normal. With Baba’s grace my dad started getting normal from morning. I have faith that he will be always healthy for his rest of his life with Baba’s blessings. And definitely he will be very normal from tomorrow. Thank You so much for saving dad, mom and me every time Baba. Please take care of my mom and dad. Om Sai Sree Sai Jai Jai Sai. Jai Sai Ram.

I thank Hetalji and her team for such a wonderful platform. Without missing a day, I read all the posts on this site. It always gives us positive things and increases our faith in Sai Baba.

Coming to my experience, I and my friend got disconnected due to some reason. And we are not in talk for some time, but we are connected through whatsapp. For a period of time I dint see him online or message from him. This worried me a lot and I was continuously praying that I should have some response and promised to post on this site. And I could see him online and also got response. It’s true that once we pray Sai Baba with true faith and surrender to Him, He will definitely shows His miracle. Thank You Sai Baba. Sai Baba, please fulfill my wishes. Om Sai Ram.
