Anonymous Shirdi Sai Devotee from Canada says: Om Sairam. I have been willing to write this post for a long time now. I have been a Baba follower consciously only recently but my family and my mother especially have been a devotee for years and Baba’s kripa has been on our family throughout. I visited Shirdi many times since childhood but went up Dwarakamai stairs in 2015 and since then, I have realised Baba has been helping me achieve one of my biggest dreams. There have been many miracles along the way. One of my biggest dreams was to move to Canada and pursue my goals.

The 1st miracle was that of the application going through for processing. The 2nd was all authentications by officials being successfully done, and this stage was extremely trying as it was a long wait and we were following up ourselves with no help from anyone. There were several small details we were required to complete and Baba helped each time.

The 3rd miracle was that my sister’s application was also chosen for processing and all the details regarding her application also needed a lot of coordination with the right people and at the right time and Baba showered His blessings on her too. Finally, my whole family is here in Canada. I cannot tell you how happy we are as we were living in different places earlier but we all are together now.

After coming to Canada, the 4th miracle was my husband getting a job within a month. This relieved us so much and then Baba helped us get a new car, which was the 5th miracle as the winters are harsh here and it couldn’t have come at a more opportune time. Baba gave solution to maintain the expenses for the car. The 6th miracle is that of me getting a job. I hope this career path takes me to my true calling. The 7th is my parents getting a new home, and this really brought tears to my eyes as we had to sell our old home due to circumstances but Baba ensured we would not be without our own home. I would often think during the past year why we had to sell our old home, especially after my parents have worked hard all their life with utmost honesty while maintaining their self-respect and dignity. In due time however, within a year Baba gave my parents a modest but beautiful home of their own keeping their dignity intact.

While I have mentioned all of these experiences in a gist, I must emphasise what a long and hard wait it had been, we were at multiple times tested; however my husband’s faith on Baba never wavered. Every step was challenging from situation point of view and resources point of view. No one really helped us along the way and it was Baba Who’s been with us, guiding us at every step. At one point, we even contemplated whether we should just give up now, but this was largely my insecurity and not that of my husband’s. There were many instances where it seemed like Baba Himself was executing the task for it was completely out of our reach. I wish I could expound every instance as it were but I fall short of words. I did Nav Guruvar vrat and Sai Divya Pooja too. My mother also performed Nav Guruvar vrat and after that they got their own home. The most amazing part of this long journey was that Baba enrolled me in His Darbar by allowing me to join Mahaparayan, which I feel is a blessing and a responsibility. But again, it is all Baba’s doing so I am nothing in this. Even though this seems like a long post, I feel there are multitudes of smaller miracles that I haven’t written here because all the possibilities Baba made happen are impossible to enumerate in words. Baba, please bless our family and everyone trying to make it in this world, thank you Hetal ji and team for this amazing platform, which is a panacea in itself. There are newer challenges we are facing now but we are sure Baba will guide us as He has always done. Om Sairam.

Thinking And Judgment

The main reason to post it here is to let us realize the truth, illuminate the ignorance in our lives with the light of education. Thank You Sai for this story. You have given me an opportunity to share it among the Sai devotees. It will be great even if it can impact on a single person’s life. Thank You Lord.

Read this beautiful story carefully. My boss drove a luxury car everyday and it was my duty to greet him and to open the gates for him, as I worked as a watchman in his villa. But he never responded back to my greetings. One day he saw me opening the garbage bags outside the villa in search for any leftover food. But, as usual he never even looked at me, it was like as if he never saw anything! The very next day I saw a paper bag at the same place, but it was clean and the food inside was covered well. It was fresh and good food like someone had just brought it from the supermarket. I didn’t bother as to where it came from, I just took the paper bag and I was so happy about it. Every day I found this paper bag at the same place with fresh vegetables and all that we needed for home. This became my daily routine. I was eating and sharing this food with my wife and kids. I was wondering who this fool could be to forget his paper bag full of fresh food everyday? One day there was a big problem in the villa and I was told that my boss had died. There were too many guests coming to the villa that day and I didn’t get any food that day, so I thought that one of the guests must have taken it. But the same thing happened the 2nd day, the 3rd day and the 4th day. It went on like this for a few weeks and I found it difficult to provide food for my family, so I decided to ask the wife of my boss for a raise in my salary or else I would quit my job as a watchman. After I told her, she was shocked, and asked me, how come you never complained about your salary for the last 2 years? And why is this salary not enough for you now?! I gave her so many excuses but she was never convinced! Finally in the end, I decided to tell her the truth, I told her the entire story of the bag of groceries, and as to how it was my daily provision. She then asked me as to when this stopped? I told her after the death of her husband. And then I realised that I stopped seeing the paper bag immediately after the death of my boss. Why didn’t I ever think of this before? That it was my boss who was providing this for me? I guess it was because I never thought that a person who never replied to my greetings could ever be this generous! His wife started to cry and I told her to please stop crying and that I’m really sorry that I asked for a raise, I didn’t know that it was your husband who was providing me with the meals, I will remain as a watchman and be happy to provide my service. His wife told me, I’m crying because I’ve finally found the 7th person my husband was giving this bag full of food. I knew my husband was giving 7 people every day, I had already found the 6 people, and all these days I was searching for the 7th person. And today I found out. From that day onwards, I started to receive the bag full of food again, but this time his son was bringing it to my house and giving it to my hand. But whenever I thanked him, he never replied! Just like his dad! One day, I told him THANK YOU in a very loud voice! He replied back to me that please not be offended when I dont reply, because I have a hearing problem, just like my dad! Oh May God forgive us all, for we have all, as humans, judged another person without knowing the real story behind their actions. May God forgive us all and guide us towards the right path in life.

Why Are Sai Bhajans Important?

This will help me and you learn more and practice these teachings in our lives. Chanting of the Lord’s name is the only way to liberation in Kali age. God’s name only will redeem us. Any mighty task can be achieved by chanting divine name. Namasmarana is the one and only divine medicine capable of curing of lack of mental equanimity, avarice and other ills which torment us. It gives us abiding peace and contentment. Baba says, ” The more you come close to me, the more you earn my love, you become more likely to burn, what will be burnt are our evils, defects and impurities. Such a burning leads to spiritual purification, to refinement. If we take one step towards for doing good, Sai will be there ahead of us all the time.

So, put efforts in chanting the name of the Lord. People may say that when you go to Sai Baba, there is nothing but bhajan. Let us realize that there is nothing greater than bhajan. What bliss is there in bhajans! What a demonstration of oneness it is when myriad throats join in uttering the name of God! The vibrations emanating from them make the heart vibrant. If we sing alone in your shrine, the vibrations return to you as reaction. But in community singing, what we have is not a reaction but a wave of vibrations. They enter into the atmosphere and purify the polluted air. The atmosphere today is polluted by bad thoughts and feelings. When we sing the glory of God, the bad germs in the air are destroyed and the air gets purified by a treatment with anti-biotics as it were. Bhajans are therefore, supremely valuable. It has been said that in the Kali Age there is no greater spiritual practice than chanting the name of the Lord. Let one remember the name of Rama at the time of passing, whether he is a millionaire or a pauper, whether he is a scholar or an illiterate. Let us sing the name of the Lord and redeem our lives! Sairam.

Thanks To Sai Baba

Dear All, Before starting my experiences with Baba, I would like to thank Hetal ji and the entire team for their wonderful service and helping us by sharing the devotees’ experience through this website. Coming to my experiences, there are lots. This one in specific which was due to be posted for a very long time. Sorry Baba for the delay in posting my experience late. I was living in India and moved to Malaysia for work. I started facing so many problems at my work and also my personal life. I read the devotees’ experiences on this website most of the days and my prayers to Baba as always. I was performing well at my work but somehow due to someone else’s mistakes, I thought I need to be accountable for an issue which was expected to be reported. I kept praying Baba to resolve the issue and one fine day after my continuous prayers, I had been informed that there were no issues with my deliverables and problem was resolved. This was unexpected and wouldn’t have happened without Baba’s blessings and grace. Thank You so much Baba.

Second one is I had applied for a long term work permit without meeting the criteria and I was very confident that Baba was going to help me to succeed. Yes I got it and this happened due to Baba’s grace. I have other experiences as well, still happening. Thanks to You Baba. Bless all the dear devotees. Sai Ram Sai Ram Sai Ram.

Baba Cleared My Mistake

Shirdi Sai Devotee Ramya from India says: Om Sai Ram, My name is Ramya Krishnan From Kerala. I have many experiences and among that I am going to post today’s experience.

Dear all, I am a person who is very weak in Mathematics and I am in a job that I need to deal with cash transaction and like I said I am very, very poor in dealing with cash that I need to take income from clients and record it and also I need to give office expenses. In doing this work I made one mistake and it was showing Rs.5000/- less. I was so tensed because I need to pay from my pocket and also I thought that amount I lost somewhere. I couldn’t recollect that how this difference happened. I prayed to Sai to kindly help me to find out the amount and where I made the mistake and also I told Baba if I get this problem solved I would post this experience on this site. Today I came to office and prayed this again to Sai and started to check the income and expenses and luckily Sai showed me where I really made a mistake in calculation. Really if Sai is not there with me then my entire life will be in misery. Sai Baba helped me to solve this problem. Lots and lots of thanks to my Sai Maa. He is really a sweet and lovely maa. He comes running for our very first call itself. Love You Sai Maa. Om Sai Ram.

Sai The Saviour

I’m a breast cancer survivor but still being monitored by doctors. I was really worried during last month check-up but by Baba’s grace everything going good but still I have this pain under my rib. I pray to Baba to remove that pain. Earlier I had even suffered from abscess now I was experiencing the same pain. I want You to take care of it Baba. I don’t want to go through it again. My daughter was participating in school spelling bee. By Baba’s grace she got 2nd place. Baba, please see that my younger daughter eats well and please increase her appetite and that she listens and not behave stubborn. Next month I again have my doctor check-up, please see that everything goes well. I thank Lord Hanuman and Baba for being with me without them I’m not there. Please bless my family and thank You for getting me those plants. Om Sai Ram
